It's no surprising that's still the case. Because when I was younger one big name in Manga was Clamp an all female manga group, and they didn't shy away from fan service, aimed at females and males. I mean they made stuff like Chobits.

Even more wholesome anime isn't immune to fan service. Its simply something I accept. If I want to watch a show about a girl trying to overcome her social phobia, I also have to suffer though her psychotic lesbian stalker.

I love One Piece personally and the whole Bonney twist bothered me. Not in that she's actually twelve but that Oda didn't stop sexualizing her adult body even after he had to know her age. Still Oda is better then most. It's not like One Piece is becoming Seven Deadly Sins.

Still none of this makes me love anime less but I do have my limits to what I will watch.

Biden is far from perfect but he did a decent job cleaning up after Trump's bess, adding millions of jobs in addition to bringing back the ones lost in 2020. He has brought new manufacturing jobs to red states and red districts of blue states even as the Republican senators in those districts voted against his plans. Biden worked for all Americans, those who voted for him and those who voted against him. That is what a president should do.

I voted for Biden in 2020 and will happily do so again in 2024.
