Very well said. That pretty much sums up my philosophies (a combination of Existentialism and Ethical Hedonism) as well. Our lives have no predetermined grand destiny. But that means we can give our own lives and those of our fellow beings whatever meaning we want to give them. And, to me at least, the most meaningful thing one can do is to be as happy with life as possible and to spread as much happiness as possible.

And you know what? I’m actually not even entirely sure anymore if I am “truly” heterosexual myself; lately I’ve been wondering more and more if I may not have some form of asexuality. My point being that if it wasn’t for the huge stigma on LGBTQ+ people that our society has I may have figured those issues out a LOT sooner.
