The biggest hole i see in this plan is that it’s not MEN who are opting out of marriage the most. I mean, men have long had a stereotype of ducking responsibilties. But until recently, women HAD to marry just to get out of their parents’ home.
The whole picture -husband, kids, nice home, etc. was sold to them and they were judged for deviating.
Now, they need men less and less. It’s not the men you need to bribe to take a bride.
It’s the woman you need to encourage to give a fuck about a male.
I’d suggest rewiring the culture. STOP with the ‘boys will be boys’ toleration of assholery.
STOP looking at every rape case to determine how the woman encouraged it or deserved it. Same-same with spouse abuse, cheating, and so on.
Raise boys to respect women they DON’T want sex from. The waitress, the sale clerk, the bank teller, the cleaning staff.
Produce some men that women will like on sight, not feel they must change them just to put up with them.

Or don’t. I don’t really think sociologists are worried about fewer marriages. They NOTE it, but that’s their job. There’s still a new generation out there.

And there are cognitive tests that people without brains do poorly on.
