Masculine-solar world? Prejudicial perspective? The dragon fight? The first paragraph has little or no meaning.
Women do NOT control the modern world. If we did, MeToo wouldn’t have been needed. Most rapists would end up in jail, not just 4-6 percent of the rapists in the reported cases.
Women ARE oppressed and discriminated against. It’s hard to see your own privilege, and to the privileged men, equality feel like oppression. Women are often asked during job-interviews if they plan to have children in the near future. Men are not. Why not? Children (in general) have both mothers and fathers, so it ought to be a relevant question for both men and women.
Sure, a lot of women might be in charge of the family economy, but most of that goes to boring stuff like rent, food, basic clothes for the kids, insurances, heating, education for the kids, transport, etc.
Women give birth to all women too. It still took a sperm and an egg to create the embryo, and (again) children in general have both a father and a mother. Women don’t breed on their own. Children learn misogyny and patriarchy in school, from friends, teachers, coaches, etc.
Alpha is poppycock, humbug, stupidity. We are not wolves in captivity. The vast majority of rational women are in a relationship with an equally rational man.
Again with the dragon fight? In a “traditional” family, the female world tend to be the soft one, the caring one, and when the father comes home from work, that’s when punishments and talking-to’s are dished out. The very opposite of this “Fifthly” stupidity.
In more modern families, mum and dad work together to provide as good a home as possible for the kids. There is no “opposite”.
It’s not the male world that is the source of all ills, it’s the patriarchal world (and not all ills, but many of them).
Conventional Feminism – The Radical Idea that Women are People Too.
Where’s the preposterous in that?
Feminists critique the lack of human rights for women, the lack of equality and respect women have in a Patriarchal world.
Yup, imperfections are overcome with progress. The modern world have moved quite a distance form the old patriarchal world.
There is no end of imperfection, as long as we’re dealing with humans.
Sure, if everything is perfect, why change it? It’s seeing that something can be improved on, that brings on progress.
If feminism was begun today, it would have been called Equality. That is what it’s about; men and women having similar rights, opportunities and responsibilities.
Feminism has fought for men’s right to be involved in their children’s lives.
Socialism, Feminism, Critical Theory, Postmodernism, Deconstructionism, etc, are the means to progress, yes.
