Frankly, I think mothers like this are frightened at the fact their kids are growing up and becoming their own persons, which may not exactly line up with the mothers' expectations. The fear of transgenderism is a symptom of the bigger fear of losing control. Plus if their child does transition, it blackens the whole family's reputation.

As I commented on a previous Facebook post, an overuse of emojis should be considered a sign of mental instability.

This is also a prime example of conspiracy thinking: searching innocuous words and images for clues to an underlying evil, even changing the words to make them suggest that evil. Because the connection must be there, you just have to find it. And because evildoers always leave cunningly-hidden clues to their crimes because...reasons.

(All joking aside, it sounds like the man had some sort of psychological episode. Kudos to the other passengers who were able to restrain him so that no one was harmed.)
