They [the American Psychological Association] have a homosexual organization, are the greatest form of radical indoctrination in the US, monopolize industry (medicine, advertising, education), instruct immorality in everything they do, are rationalistic, secularist, a sort of "secret brotherhood" like masonry, they are responsible for a huge number of abortion referrals every year, who says they "help" people, rather they practice a false religion, or anti-religion.

If you do not have the good sense to keep yourself free from associations with dangerous men, why should you expect that our government will respect your bodily integrity? The key issue here is the human dignity of the American people. If, by strapping a man to a board and turning his flesh into an instrument of pain or his every waking moment into sheer horror, we protect the American people, then we have preserved human dignity, not contradicted it.

God, Almighty and All knowing, may have allowed your friend's cancer because He knew that, if he remained healthy, your friend would have committed grave sins and died unrepentant. God, in His Infinite Wisdom, allows us to suffer when it is for our good, or the good of others. He really, really, wants us to get to Heaven! Awesome!

In reality there is no such thing as 'homosexuals' there are homosexualist - that is persons who performs homosexual acts.
We are all born hetersexuals, but a misguided few will participate in homosexual acts which would would then make them homosexualist.
Though someone may have had in the past Committed homosexul acts, but has repented and living a chaste life according to his/her vocation in life, well that person should not be considered a homosexualist anymore, unless they still actively commit homosexual acts. Homosexual is not a noun but an adjective.

If that's the case, then the movie could also be seen as anti-Catholic, and your love for "liberty" is also anti-Catholic.

This just goes to show you how anti-Catholic 99.98% of all so-called Catholics truly are.

The Catholic Church doesn't prescribe to the Masonic idea of "liberty", but is absolutely opposed to it!

By the way, it's also opposed to "tyranny" by Muslims. The Catholic viewpoint is to SUPPORT the "tyranny" of the Pope over everyone in the world.

Some books should be burned, and the KJV should be the first to feel the heat.

Gee, I wonder why the Church encouraged just such burning in the past? I guess we, in this benighted 21st Century, are so much more progressive and open-minded and forward thinking than those musty old medieval churchmen.

Hooray, progress!

And if we had a proper Catholic government, ruling by divine right, the KJV and all other heretical works would be confiscated.

However, I have, and still do advocate anointing a "Prince of the Church and Successor of the Apostles" as a leader in our civic government.

Let the Bishop of Rome choose one of our American Bishops to be our "king"! I would support that whole heartedly!!!

Yes, indeed English is my first language.

Yes, one is "large" when compared to zero. That what "relative" means. One is relatively large when compared to zero.

On the other hand, let's define "large" as one billion.

Now, there are NO Protestant denominations, and we must use some other word to describe those organizations to which Protestants belong.

Let's call them "Anti-Catholic Social Clubs".

Of which "Anti-Catholic Social Club" are you a member?

[Our government is secular because our founders wanted religious freedom.]

Well, it's more accurate to say they wanted to be free FROM religion.

You do realize, do you not, that the "founders" were all anti-Catholic Freemasons?

America was founded on the very principle of destroying the Catholic Church. One can not be proud of the US Constitution and government, and be a devout Catholic, the two are opposed to one another.

Many people critisize the catholic church because it would hand heretics over to the authorites for their false teachings. from there the authorities would often execute heretics by burning at the stake.

I believe that these actions, at the time, were justified because heresy is the cause for the damnation of souls and we execute people for murdering the body but heretics murder thousands of souls with their false teachings. Think about it, which is worse, for one person to die or for thousands to be led astray into hell because of false teachers and descievers.

[On Muslims]

It's a wonder we haven't rounded a lot of them up and either sent them home packing or put them in detention camps. The anti-Americanism is what is frightening. I recently read that Dearborn, Michigan is essentially a Hezbollah training center. A Muslim girl my daughter attends school told my daughter that she hopes America falls -- and her family is wealthy from their opportunity to live in America. How much of that kind of talk should we be willing to put up with?

The round em up idea always freaks people out and makes them think of Hitler and the holocaust. But we did it humanley during WWII with Germans and Japanese. Personally I've had it with Muslims, I wish they would just go back to their desert paradise, set up sharia and have a great time and leave Christian lands and people alone.

While at Dinseyland a few days ago I saw a pin which displayed a rainbow mickey head. This distressed me because even though it doesn't exactly match the LGBT pride flag - something I didn't know at the time - I feel that it was made for that community. Which really isn't as far fetched as it sounds, because Disneyland and WDW used to host a thing called "gay day" which while now un-official still seems to be really important to them - they even restrict airspace on that day so that no one flys a plane with a banner which the Pride Community doesn't want to see...

Anyways whether or not it truelly represents what I think it does it still put me in an awkward position. I didn't want to ride the rides or shop their. I didn't want to be "happy", and I couldn't tell my mother about it because when I told her how I feel about shopping at all the other stores that violate or beliefs, she didn't understand. And while I did end up eating there (something that made be feel like a hypocrite) and even enjoying myself towards the end of the day I still feel bad about it, and upset that they are selling the pin.

This post isn't so much for answers (although I would like to know what you think of the pin) as to just tell someone about this. I posted something like it earlier, and one of the users went into how impossible it was to really do anything because you'd have to boycott everyone...

Keep in mind, the gay day is not the only reason to have a legit beef with Disney.
Disney has a funny way of constantly showing an absent mother, a Evil bad woman or a mother killed at the start in their wacky story lines. It is a subtle way to show anti family values over and over again.
Now, sure it is good to have a few films like this for those kids who have lost a mother or have a blended family.
But sit back and look at all the films and tell me that it is not a erie coincidence that almost every single one is like I described!

[Just because you believe it's true doesn't mean it happened, and neither does 400 people claiming to be raised from the dead make it true without evidence. A larger number of people (as far as I know) claim to have seen and/or been abducted by aliens, does that make it true?]

First off it's not 400 people claiming to be resurrected, its 400 folks who were raised from the dead with hundreds if not thousands of eye witnesses.

It's a bit different with UFO's, they don't stick around to testify about it. BUT believe (or don't believe what you want). You follow the old adage, for the non-believer no amount of proof is ever sufficient. For most here no proof is necessary. These things only confirm what we already know.

[How can people possibly think that 1500 years of Christian teachings can be wrong, and what's currently taught in the non-Catholic world is right?]

Maybe there scared of being wrong? Maybe the truth hurts to much!! Some people cannot deal with it on a mental level, they are happy to be in denial. In other words, for some people, it doesn’t matter. Some people think that they are the centre of all truth and that they cannot be wrong, they believe that they are infallible. Some people are paranoid, and think that God will punish them for being Catholic. Some people are sadly brainwashed, and are unable to make reasonable choices for themselves, and they are lead by other peoples logic with out question, and feel guilty if they oppose their teachers. Some people are just spiritual slaves, or feel that it is enough just to believe, and that religion doesn’t really matter, so-long as the church is nice. For some its just pride, pure and simple.

[Of course gays can live with out sex. Anyone can. The question is why they should. Emphasis in original]

Because nobody should have SSA [Same Sex Attraction]. Nor does anybody that has it, want it. Regardless of whether or not people accept it as nomal.

To develop SSA, is like being robed of your sexuality, having your identity stolen. Its not the same as being Born black. If two gay couples who were in love with eachother, woke up one day as hetrosexuals, their marrige, their desire to have gay sex, and their love for eachother would end. They would nolonger see eachother the same way, since these things were based only upon the fact that they had a disorded nature, and had given in to that diordered nature.

[When asked what the underlying psychological "disorder" behind homosexuality is, and not really answering the question at all:]

Man is a rational being meant to dominate and control his passions and appetites in accordance with what he was made to be in the image and likenes of his Creator.

Desire that contradicts natural and moral law = disordered desire = symptom of underlying psychic disturbance.

Homosexual desire = disordered desire = symptom of an underlying psychological disturbance.

Yes, and they used to do all sorts of things in "medicine" to cure...oh, you name it...bloodletting, shock treatment, etc. Hopefully, we will get it right this time, and actually be able to "fix" SSA [same-sex attraction]. Wouldn't that be a good thing?

setter #fundie forums.catholic.com

Homosexual attraction is a symptom of an underlying psychological disorder. Like any other chronic mental disorder, the person needs to accept and take responsibility to manage the symptoms of the disorder. One cannot blame the disorder for unhealthy and self-destructive choices (destructive of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual functioning). That someone is "okay" with being "gay" does not render the disorder suddenly non-pathological. A comparable example is someone afflicted with bipolar disorder.

Jayson #fundie forums.catholic.com

Sex is short for sexual intercourse. The definition of intercourse is "Dealings or communications between persons or groups." So, sexual intercourse is intercourse between the sexes. As such, there's no such thing as homosexual sex.

[Why not suggest gathering all the possible information (about the existence of God) and encourage him to draw his own conclusions?]

Better, I think, to tell him the truth - how it really is, and then have him research all the possible information, so that when he reads something contrary to the truth, he will know that it is wrong and know that he needs to keep searching until he finds out why it's wrong.

puzzleannie #fundie forums.catholic.com

The fact that teenagers would be driven to inject in ordinary daily casual encounters such sexual innuendo and blatant gesturing demonstrates vividly the nature and depth of the disordre that plagues people with perverted sexual desires. There is no possible acceptable situation where teenagers in school should even be mentioning let along acting out sexual fantasies and experiences. To do so, on the part of a minor, would be strongly suggestive evidence of possible abuse, and if someone like me, a teacher or other adult charged with care of children were to observe it, would almost certainly suspect abuse and report it.

[Why are people still afraid of teaching about homosexuality as if it's something that can be taught or caught?]

That is precisely the point. It is something that can be taught, promoted or "caught" - not like a virus but like a bad habit especially to vulnerable youth with emotional insecurities. It is a deviant unhealthy behavior reflecting severe emotional retardation. Why on earth should any reasonable person accept the teaching and promotion of such dysfuntional behavior expecially in a school setting?

Any belief by the under thirty crowd that homosexuality is simply an alternative lifestyle choice is a perfect example of the affect of indoctrination in school and the media intended to promote this societal blight. Don't be naive and believe that abnormal, unhealthy and even destructive behavior cannot be taught to people who otherwise would not be inclined to behave in this manner. Terrorist suicide bombers are another perfect example of such an affect.

The feminists. They hate men, they hate being women, and they hate anything that represents the female sex. They want to make women into men, and the fact that women have babies is something they cannot get away from unless they can eliminate that fact via abortion. These people are not compassionate, they are militant. They believe abortion is necessary because men are tyrants and women's bodies are a biological trick perpetrated upon the downtrodden female masses.

Eventually they will learn that just because the government says what they do is okay, it does not mean it really is (ex. abortion).

While it would be difficult to re-work the idea into a test, it has occured to me that a tremendous proof of an AI's having been granted an immortal soul would be its voluntary request -- without any sort of prior suggestion from its creators, other than their granting it exposure to certain literature and/or audio-video material -- to come into some sort of sensory-contact (e.g. visual receptors of some sort) and/or geographic proximity of a bread-wafer consectrated at a Catholic Mass. Then if the same AI began to offer prayer and adoration to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, doubt would be removed even further about its having a soul.

I freind of mine said to me that the D.C. [DaVinci Code] most be somewhat true just by the way it is stirring up the Church! SO I lean over to the girl at the next table who has been looking over to my friend and say to her "Don't bother he's GAY!" Oh my did he protest! hehehe!
