I don't know of any highschooler ever get a chance to practice Theory of Evolution in the material sense, i.e. make a living out of it, by providing goods or services, but maybe in the moral sense "I'm bigger so I'll bully smaller kids and steal their money".
Just about any other school subject is more useful.
Let students have choices. Those who choose impractical subjects such as TE would have a handicap in life and by natural selection ....

This is important as God himself is setting a monetary value on human life, or at least that of a slave (this chapter is kind of like the fine print after the Ten Commandsments). Therefore, Paul's duty was to either return the slave to the owner or pay him 30 shekels of silver. I'd say Huck Finn was less of a Christian, because he did not give recompense to Nigger Jim's owner.

This book has really changed our family and although at first it seems cruel because we are in a society that has strayed so far from the truth that the truth actually seems wrong. But pray and read the scriptures along with this book and the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth if you truly seek it.
I have not found a scripture to support (or not support) the appropriate age at which to spank your children. So I recommend starting at the age that you feel God wants you too. I could never spank my 4 month old but at about 8 months it seems to begin to be helpful but I always did it very lightly on the hand not the thigh or leg.
Wives ARE to submit to their husbands and be obedient them. Husbands are put in authority over their wives. In turn, the husband is to love the wife as Christ loves the Church. Of course husbands are not perfect and have their own flaws. A wife is supposed to be his help-meet, though and offer her own counsel in daily situations. It is not the wife's place to be the spiritual leader of the home, nor should the responsibility of providing for the household fall on her shoulders. Her congregation is her children and her pulpit the kitchen table. She should focus her preaching to the children, not her husband. All the time spent controlling him would be much better spent in prayer. I don't understand why so many women want to be so free of authority in their lives. If you have a problem with obeying your husband, than it's possible that your real beef is with God, since that is the way He designed it all to begin with.

Dr. Michael Behe is a thorough scholar. Here, he trashes the myth of evolution beyond repair by showing that the simplistic solution evolutionists offer for the physical phenomena of complexity makes grand promises but fails to deliver. Darwinian evolution grew up in an era when science was rather primative in its understanding of biology and chemistry. What is remarkable is that many today continue to employ darwinian evolution to explain chemical-biological aspects of nature. To do so is to underestimate the complexity of nature. When the evolutionist realizes this, he falls back on his blind faith that "time" will somehow manage the process of evolution. Darwinian evolution employed as explanation for complexity in nature is tantamount to using simple arithematic to solve problems only the calculus can solve. It's like using Galileo's telescope to survey the red giants in astronomy. Impossible. Darwinian evolution is a cryptic rationalism because it attempts to use occam's razor to cut away aspects of nature in order to subject nature to your pet theory. To do so is unethical since it is dishonest. But, of course, evolutionists don't believe in morality, so any ethic of integrity escapes them.

First, if a group of white people wants to live by itself without seeing a black face after dark, why is that bad? Who does it hurt? Why would a black person WANT to be in that town,anyway? Second, I can name several "sundown towns" that exist today, where WHITE people are not allowed: Harlem, South Central Los Angeles, etc. And that's okay with me; that's their turf, and they deserve a white-free space and are welcome to it. Third, the idea that white people are especially racist, which this book promotes, is absurd in the extreme. India is 99% Indian. China is 99% Chinese. Mexico is 99% mestizo. Most sub-saharan African countries are 99% black. These appear to be "sundown countries." Very, very few European countries are today 99% white, or even 90% white, if that. Non-whites are flooding into Europe and America, a curious thing to do if whites there are so notoriously racist. Slavery is an ages-old institution which Europeans and Americans led the way in ending. We should be PROUD of our past, not ashamed of it. Books such as this try to exploit white guilt for various reasons, including envy for white success and and excuse for black failure; that's the agenda behind the "history." Ultimately this strategy will fail because it is contra human nature. My prediction is that in the future "sundown towns" will be back in America in a big way, and with no apologies.

You don't need to be brilliant to know that when your wife is pregnant she is going to have a human baby. Not even an atheist evolutionist is foolish enough to expect any thing else. If we decended from Chimps or Apes or whatever else that they can come up with then why aren't there some of the same physical traits showing up? Why doesn't my cousin Tom not have a tail like a chimp? Why does my daughter not have a nose like an ape? Why does anybody NOT resemble the monkeys? Why isn't one person born with a body full of hair and have a protruding mouth and nose with arms to their feet? Why not just one human?
I know quite a bit about evolution through studies, and it is remarkable to me that it is even a debate. The DNA and chromosome structure of a human being is so complex to think that a monkey evolved into a human is absurd. We have trillions of DNA cells vs. what a monkey carries. We have a spirit and a conscience which clearly animals do not have. That is God-given to humans so that we can connect with God.
I understand humanity is an evolving species made from the seeds of several civilizations (star seeds). Yes, our DNA has been manipulated several times. Not from a God out there, as we all are a part of Source. I in fact have scribed a book on all of this through the process of interdimensional communication. It is not religion! However, we are spiritual beings because we are made up of spirit, energy into matter. We are now finding that our perceptions are being shaken to bring in the higher teachings and knowledge of this universe(s). Once we know the truth of our beingness, we will be set free from limitation. I am finding that there is so much more to us and our creations than we now perceive. My book is called Mystery of the Universes, available through Amazon. There are 80 writings within this book and they cover history, genetics, biology, cosmology, and spirituality. These writings are quite esoteric and I am almost finished putting together a companion workbook that helps one understand these higher teachings.
I do feel that religion has had control over some of these teachings to keep mankind in control. It is now time to loosen these controls. There has been a lot of manipulation going on through the religions as well as through the governments. Keep in mind that even reading the ancient writings, we need to know what the perceptions were of those writing the documents. We all perceive our lives differently and that is what makes life so interesting.

Of course I group TE into the category of non-essential, fuzzy type of class. I have no issue with TE as mutation but as macroevolution that it's often illustrated in books with morphing of cell to fish to mammal to man. To me at this point it's not proven until scientist can create a first living cell from chemicals and energy, and it's materially not useful, yet spiritually harmful. Scientific methods can be taught without TE. If some says creation shouldn't be taught in school then I'll suggest they don't tell fairy tales to their children, let them read Harry Potter, celebrate Christmas or Easter, or Halloween etc...anything that is not real or proven.

Hey, it's a theory based on evidence verified by extensive calculations using well-proven formula of stochastic statistics, among other branches of mathematics, and data from gene sequencing work of genetics scientists, data from the Hubble telescope, data from radio-telescopes thru-out the earth, data from human population around the earth, and best of all, data collected from the billion web sites, stored in millions of servers that Google Corp. has graciously provided access. It's repeatable and falsifiable and it has predictive power, and all the other properties a science ought to possess.

Craig Venter group is in a position to create many new species via gene splicing. They even applied for patents for the processes.
With intelligent input, new species don't take 3.5Ba to create new species.
If Craig's scientists can create new species, so could God.

This book makes the point of a well deserved spanking, July 29, 1999

When I read this book last march my son was slipping horribly in school. My son is 17 years old and graduated with flying colors from his Junior year (a 98 on one of his Regents exams!). When he was little and acted up (through grade 6) down the pants came and over the knee he went. But I faulsly belived that after that he was beyond the "spanking age." When I read this book I learned that my son needed help and I had to give it to him. He had failed or came close too, most of his finals and was in bad shape (never listened, always late, smoking, drinking) and I couldn't bare to see him bomb like that. So, one night he came home 4 hours late, I learned that he had failed 2 tests and had been smoking again. I grounded him. He threw a fit and after a bit of a screeming match I pulled over a kitchen table chair, grabbed my sons wrist, yanked down his pants and spanked him. I spanked him for a half an hour. His bottom was as red as an apple. I kept him there over my knee and explained the rules. He agreed. Of course a few other spankings followed and may still follow, but he's doing much better with the spankings. And I have this book to thank.
Athiests think they are the most "open minded" of men, and that those who have any faith are old fashioned and close minded. They fail to see that they are the close minded ones, not accepting what the overwhelming majority of humans have believed for the many thousand years they have been around. Athiests go against human nature. They are like anorexics, who refuse to take part in what would keep them alive. Religion (yes, religion, not just a belief in God) is a need, it cannot be dispensed. In secular public schools, history is taught from a godless perspective. Events in history are not explained as miracles or interventions of gods. The course of history is not described as the expression of divine will and leading to the culmination of any divine plans. Instead, events in history are described as the actions of humans; the course of history is described as the outgrowth of human actions and human institutions.
Words are easy to put together forming a nonesense story. The famous proto-whalepig has no chance of evolving into a whale because
1) supposed it had some random genetic mutation, which we know is rare, the passing a beneficial trait involves its survival given its many predators on earth, and that together with the pig with which it mates, some piglet, among the dozen or so born, inherits the trait. A reasonable person would say that is another rare event.
2) So the 2nd generation proto-whalepiglet also likes water and go swim in the lake or ocean. It could be easily serve as food to big fish and sharks.
3) it's hard to imagine any female proto-whalepig would give birth in water to aquatic proto-whalepiglets, no matter how many eons fly by. Propagation of any new trait requires large number. Predators abound, ready to eat those whalepiglets if there were any, really.
4) As in Seelke's experiment with E.Coli, a new function that requires two mutations didn't happen with trillions of bacteria. Yet there are many new functions needed for proto-whalepigs to become more whalelike, such as developing sonar for their navigation.
5) We can hardly imagine all the steps of mutations to turn whalepigs more into whale. None has been observed. It's something beyond imagination.
How long would it take to evolve a human body, or a monkey for that matter, by chance? Thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of years? Poof, we got our monkey by chance, with all its systems, organs and limbs that just pop out of no where, it can see, hear, feel, walk and climb trees, how long would that "by chance" creation take to get to that point? How long would it even live? In order to get more monkeys, more "by chance" evolution has to take place, since it cant reproduce by itself, which means another thousands and thousands of years. What happens to that one organism that happened by chance, twiddle its thumbs until another one evolves? I mean before it can even reproduce another "by chance" monkey would need to evolve, right?
