If you don’t believe in the holocaust, you can’t argue Hitler was the most evil human to ever exist.
Even if the Final Solution to the Jewish Question had not been attempted, there would still be plenty of atrocities, such as Aktion T4, the Nuremberg Laws, World War Two that would have made Hitler one of them most evil rulers of the era if not of history.
If Hitler isn’t the most evil human ever, there is no reason not to look into fascism and National Socialism as plausible ideologies.
I have higher standards for considering an ideology than “was not the ideology of literally the most evil human ever” (I guess the second-most evil human would be fine?). Even if Hitler was not the most evil human ever - and even if the Holocaust had not happnened -, he was still an objectively bad ruler, both ethicaclly and in terms of competence.
If you look into fascism and National Socialism as plausible ideologies, you might find they had similar complaints to yours today.
No, not at all. Indeed, their values and fears are pretty much the polar opposite of mine. And in any case, their explanations for problems were nothing but hateful paranoid fantasies and their solutions beyond terrible.
If you find similarities between their complaints and yours, you might find similarities in who is causing the problems.
No, because that would require self-awareness. Because the source and the commonalotoes lies within yourselves, the right-wing racist kyriarchical losers seeking scapegoats and big god-patriarch who does all the thinking for you, not in the external reality.
Which is why you have to believe in the holocaust as the underpinning of morality for our entire society
Who the hell does that?
