Actually, the real reason why no political ideology truly functions is because the vast majority of humanity are scum (= n*ggers and pick-mes). Only gynofascists can successfully operate a communist, anarchist, or whatever society. A world where n*ggers and pick-mes exist will always be destined for iniquity no matter what policies are instituted.

I wonder if we should have a heterophobia tag. It may not be common, it certainly is not an ideology holding power, it is far from homogenous (but then, so are all the other tags), but between lesbian separatists, MGTOW/”in”cels who insist that any incel who still desires feeemales is an insufficiently blackpilled cuck, people insisting that straight men and women cannot be friends because that makes infidelity inevitable, creeps on tumblr complaining about straight women dating obnoxious jerks rather than lesbian Nice Girls who are all perfect a chance - and certainly various more unique specimen -, it does feel like it’s a thing.

@Bastethotep I'd say go for it. Certainly not going to be common, but when people seem to hate the fact the XY chromosome pair exists, seems fair.

For what it’s worth, I think we should. After all, bigotry against a majority is still bigotry. And bigotry of any kind should be highlighted and ridiculed.

I’d love to put this one in the same room with Andrew Tate or some incels or something. Alongside perhaps some axes and chainsaws. That would be bloody amusing, if I say so myself.

Yeah… I doubt alot of people pushing for equality in society quite pictured one day having a woman being just as much of a ideological lunatic as any man would… ontop of other equally insane things that can happen… goes to show one that real life can and frequently will be much stranger then fiction.

I’d say that this is a bit different situation than the once-proposed #anti-semitic. In that case the vast, vast majority of the time, anything which is anti-Semitic is also racist and/or conspiracist (and usually both), making it not entirely redundant (as not all racism or conspiracy theories are anti-Semitic in nature) but still mostly superfluous. There’s also the factor that the #racist tag covers all forms of race-based and ethnicity-based bigotry, so it’s questionable whether we should single out one form in particular, even if it’s a particularly common one.

In this case, all of the heterophobic ones which I can recall have so far been covered by #sexist, due to sexism against men and usually women as well. It’s hard to imagine any which would not technically be covered by that, or #crackpot plus #psycho. But unlike #racist, we don’t have a catchall #sexual_orientation_phobia, and sexual orientation *is* not only a major component to heterophobia but also the most relevant one in most cases. There might occasionally be ones where any sexism is only a minor or indirect component to it and #sexist isn’t necessarily needed, as #heterophobia covers it just fine by itself.

I’m not saying “yes, we should” to either of them (I’m neutral on both) only that a #heterophobia tag seems to have a bit stronger argument going for it.

In fact, we have explicitly chosen to be splitters in regards to LGBTQ+-phobias, due to issues such as bi erasure, lesbian TERFs, etc.
