We tried a documentary about men joining women's sports leagues, but found out they'd have to take hormone treatments first. So we made a fictional film about it instead.

Well, thanks for admitting that even your own research debunks this scare-narrative. Of course, the proper thing would have been to make the documentary, presenting that your investigation led you to conclude that your initial assumptions had been wrong and correcting the misinformation rampant in your milleau, but better than nothing…
This is really bad writing. Did you get someone else to write the script or is it just as bad?
“We tried”
Um, [to make]?
“a documentary about men joining women's sports leagues,”
There are plenty of men in women’s sports leagues. Trainers, coaches, announcers, managers, all over the place. Do you maybe mean [competing in]? Because that’s what all the TERFs wanna talk about.
"but found out”
I’m guessing during the filming? Which should have shown up in your ‘research’ before you started to conduct interviews on camera…
“they'd have to take hormone treatments first.”
Pretty much wiping out any existing advantages from previous biochemical profiles, right?
“So we made a fictional film about it instead.”
So, you stayed on message despite the reality of the situation…? GOOD for you.
Yep, y’all made a whole movie about humiliating trans people. A comedy made with the specific intent to cause harm. Real fucking hilarious… just like all those attack helicopters and “I’m transvaccinated” jokes.
Y’all behave like you’re still in high school. I’d tell y’all to grow up but I know it won’t do anything.
so let me get this straight: you intend, to make a documentary of your fear scenario happening, find out it can’t actually happening and then, instead of realizing you are wrong, you just make up fiction about it happening?
It’s even worse that it sounds; they couldn’t even find anyone to act in the movie, so they used Daily Wire hosts and staff for the cast, and most of them can’t act. Also reportedly the editing is atrocious, there’s barely a plot, and the “comedy” is flat, bland, and unoriginal even if you don’t mind the blatant transphobia.
If someone wants to see a transphobic cringe comedy about men participating in women’s sports for whatever reason, there’s a certain film from the early 2000s which would serve that purpose way better. I won’t mention it by name because if video sales of that movie spike due to people bringing it up in response, I don’t want to have contributed to that.
EA’s first post-FIFA game where one can include women among men in Football. Mixed Doubles sports.
The fact the latter has been happening since early last century: is Reality really as strange as your fiction, Benny-boy…?!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
