Toilets are assigned to people on the basis of sex- nothing else.
Says who? Anyway, let's for the moment forget that your idea of how human sex works is fundamentally flawed. Your not actually making an argument here: All you're really saying is "trans people have to use the wrong toilets because that's just how it works!" But if society wants things to work differently, they do!
Sex-specific facilities provide safety & dignity required for many including girls away from home & women in prison,
Which is a good argument for allowing transgender women to also access those facilities.
even when TRAs object to them benefiting from basic human rights.
Which isn't happening.
If you want to be “left alone” lead by example and leave women’s spaces for women.
Trans women are women and we belong in those spaces just as much as you.
If you need specialist services or spaces, make them.
Just make them. As if it's just that easy. As if you'd actually accept that. But, they probably are needed. After all, the current situation seems like it would be kinda shitty for non-binary people.
Is name calling a “Hate crime”? What crimes are you alluding to?
Fuck you. You know exactly what they're talking about.
The NHS is struggling for funds and staff, but if you have a medical condition that needs treatment, why would you and your friends be excluded?
Good question. I can't speak to the NHS's treatment of trans people, but here in the States and in other places it has happened quite a bit. Can't say why though, except that some people think trans people are freaks who shouldn't exist.
Bear in mind, it is being argued that sex ≠ gender & a diagnosis of “gender dysphoria” is not needed for a person to call themselves trans. Being Trans is no longer a mental health issue. Being trans does not require any physical change. Being trans does not need “healthcare”.
What a stupid argument. Sex ≠ gender, sure, and one can be trans without experiencing gender dysphoria I guess. Doesn't mean gender dysphoria stops existing in those of us suffering from it. You can't use rhetoric to erase me from existence no matter how hard you try. Anyway, it's a misunderstanding anyway to think being trans isn't as much about sex as about gender.
BTW, it's not just transition-related healthcare that trans people have historically had trouble accessing. And I suspect you're just fine with that, aren't you?
