The further height and bodily development (fat and muscle and certain hair alike, mind) should add to her look of vitality, not diminish it. (I’m looking at sex qua sex, not sex qua dominance, for now.) Further mental development also helps with her ability to fine-tune both giving and receiving, so what does he have to lose? (Besides somehow gaining pleasure from having a thrall. “Somehow” because I have a hard time imagining how that kind of pleasure operates, non-sexual included. Empathetic imagery keeps getting in the way…)

It sounds more like they dislike the franchise being extended to all blacks at once, rather than just their upper crust. Not quite. The “di” in “divide” and “diverse” ultimately means “two” or “double”, being a synecdoche for “multiple” here. However, the “vide” means “separate”–so “separated into multiple parts”–while the “verse” means “turn”, so “many facets”…or more likely something less poetic. So probably time to brush up on your Latin etymology, for starters.

Long story short, diversity doesn’t auto-imply division. If anything, probably greater completeness than uniformity’s single facet.

{sigh} For the quintillionth time, autism is not a malady. I doubt the book acknowledges it, but it seems autism is “just” a situation where notably less in utero dendrite pruning occurs than usual. The trick is that the rest of the brain generally expects pruned levels in turn, so overload is a consistent concern. Just not constantly a bane, given proper care. Read: You can’t merely mimic what works for allistic children and expect to get a good result.

The “not an author of disorder” part just meant that sectarian strife was not El’s intent, anyway. It has nothing to do with neurology.

When that sort of diction gets used by conservatives, the “irrational emotion” is almost as a rule compassion and kindness–The Farmer and the (probably panicked >>; ) Viper. Wrath and its kin, meanwhile, get treated as rational, if truly emotion at all (q.v. the ideal conservative man who’s a theme park stoic except for when his wrath is brought to bear). So this is her idea of her bona fides for being tough and “rationally” wroth when “weak” liberals and socialists would let “invaders” use them as doormats. Or someone just insults the nation’s honor, so someone needs to be tough and furious enough to demand satisfaction–like she extracted “satisfaction” out of the dog and goat with their lives.

I think the issue with this kind of claim, honestly, is that they think the only rational thing anyone can focus on is the infinite future. In the case of Charlton et al., that would be eternity in Jesus’s presence (is he supposed to be some kind of bliss elemental?). I’m pretty sure the Jews would contest that kind of focus, and they often hold to an afterlife existing, even if one that’s mostly infinite dreaming or thereabouts (i.e. Sheol). Not fully conscious, outside of Zoroastrian influence.
