It mostly is, but it is not the problematic part. The problematic part is the laundry list of health issues caused by pregnancy. From potentially dying because of an ectopic pregnancy, to getting the body chemistry altered forever (for example due to pregnancy-caused diabetes), these are the effects that people are trying to avoid, because a pregnancy increases risks of morbidity. That is why some women choose to abort: because their bodies are not reacting well to the pregnancy, potentially endangering them or causing them suffering.
