So awhile ago these dudes named Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams wrote a book called The Pink Swastika . It was basically written to redeem right wing racist Christians and say that no the Nazis were all gay and that’s what made them so evil. And a lot of right wing Christians gladly adopted this view because it basically said that if you’re not a ‘sexual deviant’ you’re fine and not a Nazi. And since a lot of these same Americans don’t know that there’s a difference between gay/lesbian/bi and trans people, they just lump us all together and assume we’re the same. So, therefore, to them, since Nazis were all gay, then Hitler was gay, and since all lesbian, bi, and trans people are categorized as ‘gay’ to them, then we’re all the same as Hitler.
Yes I know it’s stupid, it’s just how the fundie brain excuses itself of any wrong-doing.

This is why you can’t just take radfem rhetoric and scratch off the parts about trans women: the hatred for men, cis and trans, is still in it. Which spills out into transphobia (targeting trans men), racism (men of color, immigrant men), ableism (neurodivergent men), etc.
