A secular person can go into any corner convenience store to buy beer, cigarettes, lottery tickets, or other secular goods and walk out with something that suits them.
Quite a lot of religious people go and buy those very same things. I think maybe he’s kinda mixing up the concepts of something being “secular” and being “atheistic” or “explicitly AGAINST religion.” Those are things that Christians and members of other religions have varying views on. Some will probably tell you they’re all “deadly sins” to partake in while some would have no problem with them.
Religious people will not find religious items so readily available (like pocket Bibles or kosher food)
Kosher food? I believe you can find at least SOME of that at your local WalMart or whatever. I know I see kosher hot dogs all the time at least. (which incidentally, also qualify as “halal” I believe) And as for pocket bibles, can’t you get those at about any bookstore? I know there aren’t as many of those these days as there used to be, but they are still out there. Or, you know, if you have a smartphone, there’s an instant “pocket bible” right there.
