It started in February 2021 after that big freeze that hit Texas and the rest of the Deep South. The pipes haven’t been maintained due to lack of funds (thanks to the Mississippi state government mind you)) and now they need money to get more modern pipes as well which also requires money.

Considering the difference in response to the more white areas that were affected, it absolutely was racist and blatantly so.

I have several thoughts on this bullshit:

In sports there’s always going to be someone better. Just look at the Olympics where a dozen of the best athletes around the globe compete and only the top three would be given medals. So this is bad sportsmanship.

2. You cannot tell who is a “real” woman/girl just by looking at someone. Someone being muscular doesn’t mean they’re actually male. Grow the hell up.

3. Schools should not be prying into students’ privacy, period. Even if the athlete was trans, the school should not have the authority to make that information public.

My paternal grandfather worked for the government during WW2 as an engineer and was retired when my dad was born. My Mawmaw raised 6 kids by herself on a single income after her first husband abandoned them and refused to pay child support. Their current house was from my Pawpaw’s parents.

Trans people are much more likely to be attacked than attack. There was an event about a month ago where a group of cis women sicced some cis men on a trans woman. That should not be acceptable anywhere. The whole thing just stinks of how American white women weaponized their gender and race to attack African Americans in the past.
