Another form of that created in Japan, Hentai: so established & widely recognised is that genre, it’s now an official word in the Oxford English Dictionary. The biggest market for that outside of Japan: America. What caused the interest in that foreign form of animation resulting in not only those streaming services but the likes of AnimeExpo every year in the US? “Superbook”.
