Executions can be viewed by those affected by the crime. I don’t know why others who aren’t affected, didn’t know the victims, etc, would be interested unless they like seeing that kind of thing. And perhaps if they do, they should be on a registry somewhere.
I never ‘celebrated’ Charlie Kirk’s murder. I think he was a horrible person and I felt relieved at first when I heard he was dead, then I felt bad for his kids, and after that I felt worried about what this horrible administration might do to lefties in response to this.
I think the right (perhaps purposefully in the case of those in the Trump administration) the American media vastly overestimated the left’s ‘celebrating’. It wasn’t anywhere near as widespread as the right’s celebrating George Floyd’s death. And foolish *”leftist” media figures like Ezra Klein who seemed not to understand the potential affect that Kirk’s horrific ideas could have on women, POC, LGBTQIAA2S+ people, and PWD actually lauded Kirk and said he “practiced politics the right way”.
*Ezra Klein is considered left by the right wing but he is actually a corporate right-of-center moderate.

Yes, he did. He also regularly justified violence against groups he didn’t like and said gun violence is ok because he wanted the proliferation of guns on the right. The man was a bigot who was full of hate.
