The Republicans like to play this game where they claim tax cuts will pay for themselves through economic growth. Then, when the tax cuts turn out to lower the government revenue, they claim they are forced to reduce government services to get the budget under control.
The Republicans could solve the problems by raising taxes, closing tax dodges used by the rich/corporations, or cutting the military budget but for some reason those options are always off the table.
Plus, Trump is claiming that his tariffs are bringing in a huge amount of money but that isn’t available for paying anything.

The problem with hoping Trump fails medically is that arguably he already has and a group around Stephen Miller, some of the cabinet and some of the Project 2025 guys are really running things. Trump’s father had dementia and thought he was running the company for years but really they put him in a big fancy office, gave him the NY Times every day and had his secretary put meaningless forms for him to sign on his desk.

The 22nd amendment doesn’t work like that. It prevents you from being elected, even if somebody else held power during your term. The awkward wording of the second sentence has nothing to do with what this guy is talking about, it has to do with VPs who take over the presidency.
There are some ways to game the system by getting Trump in office without him being elected but that would depending on somebody else winning the election and stepping aside for Trump. Trump would be back stabbed by anybody around him if he tries that.

Anime has the same problems though, with every popular series being followed by numerous copies. It can seem better because in the US we only see ones that are popular, the rest are never available or translated.
The underlying argument seems to be about gay characters showing up in D&D art. Which falls into the category of “tough, get with the times”.

The difference tends to be that conservatives have small in groups and are harsh to those outside the group, while liberals have larger in groups and are more friendly to those outside their in group. Liberals realize that humanity is a group that you should identify with and want to help. Conservatives often look for reasons to exclude people from their tribe and would trash somebody for being a fan of a different sports team.

Few people have a problem with the president deporting people, it’s part of his job. There is a fringe that would like entirely open borders but they are a small minority. The difference under Obama and Biden is that they quietly traced the criminals among the aliens and deported them.
The Trump administration is going for big flashy events where they round up as many people as they can. This actually results in fewer deportations because these events take more manpower for fewer arrests and they end up grabbing legal aliens and American citizens.

Trump’s executive order may not violate the first amendment but it’s clearly an attempt to wiggle around it. It doesn’t ban flag burning directly, it orders federal prosecutors to dig through the law and find something tangential they can charge the flag burner with. Such as laws against burning trash and laws against fires at public events.
It isn’t a surprise that Trump objects to flag burning. He is the sort of simple minded nationalist who sees burning a flag as an attack on the US. They have a bully’s idea of being powerful and don’t like attacks on symbols of their power.
