I can understand this argument against Hillary. At that point it was two historically unpopular candidates with various scandals, picking Trump as possibly the lesser of two evils was a mistake but not entirely unreasonable. 8 years later Harris was a successful attorney general and Senator with no standing problems. Trump was a known criminal who had shown he was incompetent at running the government, had a sex scandal that had just been growing for 8 years, had a huge election scandal involving Russia that had been killed by his own AG and was dogged by additional legal issues. At that point even if you didn’t like Harris’s politics voting for her because it was better for the country was obvious.

The whole subtle game with leaving hints in the names of things intentionally despite having far better methods available is a sign of bad science fiction. The reason we have not been back to the moon is that there is little reason to go. Once the moon was closely surveyed and we got some physical analysis it was clear there was little of value. There are some things that scientists would love to explore but there are a lot of things that could be studied on the Earth more cheaply. This makes would make sense if this was being applied to adults. Religious free speech extends to some things that are stupid or dangerous, such as this treatment. Rumor is that Trump is thinking about pulling out without opening the Strait of Hormuz. This is him looking for some way to salvage something from his failure. If US oil sales go up it will at least make the GDP look better. And if he can get other countries to try and open the Strait it won’t look so bad that he didn’t.
This is superficial thinking but that is all the further Trump goes.

Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done.

That is just wrong, Trump may or may not know this. A bit of targeted bombing in Iran was the easy part, they don’t have a lot of advanced air defense. The sort of long term navel commitment that opening the Strait would require is much harder.

As for the Auschwitz monument count, this confuses two counts. The 4 million count for Auschwitz was originally drafted shortly after WWII and was recognized at the time as being too high. This doesn’t change the overall count at all, which is derived from the number of Jews in the region before and after the war and has been worked over for decades for accuracy. It is not from direct counts of camp records. The camp records are important confirmation but are too spotty for overall count.

Soldiers are trained for situations where death is the first option not last resort. If you put a serial rapist-murderer in front of any soldier from any army the murderer is rarely making it to trial. This is also generally true of people the soldiers think are murderers or rapists, which is one of the big problems with using soldiers as police.
Beyond that is the whole general historical absurdity of the situation. The Germans invaded Poland to take good farmland for Germany and native Germans, by displacing or killing the native population. This early in the war the Germans were concerned with their image, which would probably be the primary concern of an officer holding back a soldier in this situation. Better to send the person to “trial” even though the officer knew that whatever the outcome they were unlikely to coming back.

Columbus was intentionally elevated to give Italians a pride figure, his positive image is just as intentionally crafted as the worst negative ones. He has ended up exactly where he accused the Democrats of being, launching one raid against a target, declaring victory and going home. Fundy fight. It’s phrased a bit better then most but the evidence is as bad as usual. Both are wrong on ancient Israel because matching it’s historical size and location is impossible. It’s size changed over time as it’s political and military power varied.
The idea that history is being manipulated to suit Israel is absurd, the government doesn’t depend on some particular chain of historical evidence for justification. The same for the idea that there is any evidence that the lost tribes migrated to the US.

He is making versions of the same error he accuses his opponents of in the second paragraph. It is true that the bible does not clearly mark any angel as female but it doesn’t specify a gender for most angels. A bunch are not human in form and may not have a gender at all.
It is true that modern Christianity has softened some of the crude parts of the bible but he is doing the reverse, starting from the bible and adding more conservative fundamentalist bits. The bible says almost nothing about the fallen angels, all of his talk about them bringing corruption is invented.

The US Navy has 2 hospital ships, both are in dry dock right now for refitting. They are not even in Louisiana, they are in Alabama and neither has home port in Louisiana. I’m guessing Landry mentioned something about the evacuated crewman and the US hospital ships and Trump’s addled brain ran with it.

Even for a conspiracy this doesn’t make any sense because the history is simply wrong. The allies considered Russia a hostile force at the start of the war in the west because Russia had worked with Germany to split Poland. It was ignored only because fighting with Germany was a more immediate concern. Russia was happy to ignore the war until Germany invaded Russia, then Russia suddenly joined the allies for survival. For the rest of the allies nobody liked Russia but keeping Russia supplied kept German forces occupied. During the war there was real concern that Russia would simply not stop moving west after Germany was defeated.
