It’s this thing called capitalism. It rewards people who already have money with more money while everyone else is stuck scrambling.

One thing we could start with is universal healthcare - you know, so people don’t lose their homes if they get sick and/or injured. Then we can build on that with things like universal basic income, rent caps, expanding food stamps, and revamping of the meanings of ‘affordable’ and ‘low-income’ housing. And there’s so much to do beyond that but I think that’s a least a start.

Y’all should support this stuff. If you understood how things actually work, you would. But you’d rather wait for Musky to give some of his wealth to you. Keep waiting, he’s not going to do it!

They’ve gotten better in recent years but now some of them still do this in order to ‘be rebellious’ or ‘tell it like it is’.

This says a lot more about you than it does about us, dude. I’m an activist because I’ve had to fight for fair treatment most of my life, and even with all the ableism, sexism, homophobia, and biphobia I’ve dealt with, I’ve never had to deal racism on top of those things. There are areas where I realize I have privilege and I’m working to try to make this a world where there isn’t this kind of privilege - a world where truly everyone has equality of opportunity. We don’t have that yet so I am going to keep fighting until we do. What do I gain from that? Well, potentially a world that’s much better than our own. While you can pretend like bigotry doesn’t exist, the people that actually deal with it can’t afford to.

And also, we can always afford to learn and get better. Even if we are improving now, we still are a long ways off from a world where everyone is treated fairly.

Activists are still around because we know there are still things to fight for. What we get out of it is hope for a better world. What do you get out of your denial?

I myself don't have a problem with drag queens or cross dressing. I think some men are more feminine and like feminine things, and like expressing themselves creatively by dressing in a feminine way. Flame monroe has called it out too, and has said that he doesn't believe that boys should be competing with girls, that it's wrong and that transgenders should create their own lane. Disabled people have their own Olympics just for them. And trans need to do the same thing with sports.

We do have an Olympics just for us but we are also allowed to compete in the regular Olympics if we’re able (ha!) to as well, so that logic doesn’t fly here. And trans girls aren’t ‘boys’, they’re girls.
