I am amazed by the number of liberals who understand how the natural environment is interconnected and that all events have innumerable repercussions, most of them impossible to predict, and who appear completely unable to understand that the same principles apply to the social environment. If the social environment is radically altered, as it will be with the acceptance of the idea that homosexuality is equal to heterosexuality, widespread and fundamental changes with unpredictable repercussions will follow, yet so many rush heedlessly ahead. As with emitting CO2 in the natural environment, often the act that will radically alter the environment appears harmless at first glance. But unlike the situation with CO2, no one in academia, Hollywood, or mainstream journalism will alert the public of the dangers, lest they be blackballed. 

Since humans evolved in small groups, the construction of large, self-sustaining societies that provided well for the welfare of the members has been difficult and has quite often led to failure. Any large society we construct will likely be quite fragile, like a house of cards. The adoption of same-sex marriage throughout a society would be akin to simultaneously pulling out a great many cards in this fragile structure. 
One of the key elements in this fragile structure is the duty to protect or care for other members of the society. This obligation originates with the duty that all men have had historically to protect all women in the society and the corresponding duty of women to nurture all men. This has always made men feel obligated to and connected to all the women in the society and the women to the men. Reducing traditional gender roles has eroded the strength of this feeling of duty, but it can still persist as long as men feel an attraction to women and women to men. However, with equating homosexuality with heterosexuality, the universality of opposite sex attraction is eliminated, this duty vanishes, and the society is atomized. 

Liberals often claim that preferences for gender roles and heterosexuality are socially constructed, when it appears clear that biological differences developed from millions of years of evolution across the great majority of species explain the gender roles and the predominance of heterosexuality, while the beliefs that the genders are the same and that homosexuality is the equal of heterosexuality are completely socially constructed, in a somewhat Orwellian fashion. This Orwellian crusade resembles the efforts of alchemists of a bygone era who tried to alter what they did not understand. These modern crusaders will likely be about as successful as alchemists, but with far more tragic consequences. This crusade also brings to mind Mao’s Cultural Revolution, where people were deemed to be equal in ability and suitability to tasks regardless of their actual situation, and retribution was swift toward anyone who questioned this.

Given that lesbianism is rising rapidly among the lower socioeconomic classes, it’s probable that life will soon become hellish for most non-elite men, who will be lonely and lost, and that the middle class will disappear among a rising tide of violence, crime, poverty, and homelessness. This will terminate the social contract for young men, as they will no longer be assured of love, marriage, and children even if they work hard and follow all the rules, and many of them are likely to feel isolated and become alienated. I wouldn’t be surprised if a great many become antisocial and even violent, and I suspect that more than a few will go on shooting sprees. 

Political/legal systems are mostly arbitrary, while the laws of nature are not, implying that a political system delegitimizes itself, not nature, when it arbitrarily imposes an unhealthy and unnatural form of equality.

The reality is that "marriage" is a religious standard for the union of A man and A woman. That the liberals and homosexuals cannot seperate their desires from the basis of what a marriage is only amplifies the ignorance of their belief (not right) that they be 'allowed' to be married.
The slippery slope is one that they choose to ignore - that being that once you open the door anyone with whatever deprived mental capacity can walk through...but if you simply look at it from a biological standpoint there is no point in having homosexuality and that alone makes a compelling and unambigious truth that it is not meant to be..and from a religious stand it is clearly against any religion.
Simply stated: it is wrong, it is immoral, it is not natural and it is not wanted or accepted by an overwhelming majority of Americans despite the Liberal media and hollywoods attempts to make it acceptable!

The fact is (and this will anger the tender-hearted and tender-minded among you), homosexuality is a natural aberration. It is a deviation from healthy, natural sexual attraction just as much as pedophilia and zoophilia. In decades past, it was labeled as a psychological pathology and was only declassified as such under pressure from the forces of political correctness.

This does not give us justification for persecuting homosexuals or judging them as bad people, as the vast majority of them (except Dan Savage) are most assuredly wonderful human beings. However, just because we have been able to successfully separate those who practice homosexuality from their behavior and love them in spite of it doesn’t give us license to sweep the truth about the behavior under the rug.

I agree with creekland's first comment. I am a conservative Christian. I'm not reformed (I don't believe that the Church fulfills God's promises to Israel and so we need to establish a Christian nation, etc.)... Most Christians in my circle vote against homosexuality because

1) We believe it's a bad thing for our country - the breakdown of the traditional family has huge implications for our society. Okay, I know I'm getting attacked for that one, but it is what I firmly believe. I don't hate homosexuals or divorcees or adulterers or any sinners. I'm a sinner, too.

2) Homosexuals are some of the most hateful, bigoted, militantly anti-Christian people in this country. I don't get why I am supposed to tolerate people who are intolerant themselves? Look at Chick Fil A. We're not voting one way because we don't like you, or we want to control your lives. We know what's coming next.

Has anyone mentioned yet... The mayor of Houston recently demanded the SERMONS of PASTORS who spoke out against homosexuality. In Canada, pastors are being JAILED for SPEAKING against homosexuality. (Once again, not angry here, just trying to be heard in what I feel is a largely one-sided conversation.) Why is it "hate speech" for me to say that homosexuality is sin against God, but "free speech" for gays to kiss at Chick-Fil-A?

I think there is a lot of fear in the conservative Christian circles that giving more "freedom" and "power" to homosexuals means having our freedom taken from us.

Realizing you say this simply out of dogma, I'll respond anyway.
We see from many ~~ Vaughn Walker, Annise Parker, etc. ~~~ that homosexuals are for some reason incapable of subjugating their personal, activist agenda in favor of their professional responsibilities. I suppose it has something to do with the fact homosexuals define themselves first and foremost as homosexuals; everything else is far lower.

Normal people are not like this. If you were to ask ANY straight person about themselves, the very last thing they would use to describe their lives is "straight". So, if a normal Judge is adjudicating a case in which a straight (or homosexual) individual is either Defendant or Plaintiff, the urge to promote some sort of sexual agenda is simply absent.

With homosexuals, the urge to promote "Gay Agenda" is everything, squeezing objectivity and impartiality completely aside. Homosexuals, generally, are incapable of fulfilling their duties. Others do not suffer from this deficiency.

Thus, your extrapolation is inapplicable.

This is not global warming. Your claim that "all scientists agree" is absurd. There is no consensus at all on this other than in the APA's Division 44 and other internal gay propaganda mills that have been established., and their voices - though carrying the banner of the Association that was once a legitimate, objective scientific resource, should be ignored by all as ,... well, as it's nothing more than propaganda. Let me just weigh in here with an absolute. Homosexuality is absolutely wrong. It is absolutely sinful, and it is not to be promoted or tolerated.

The school has no business encouraging any type perverted sexuality or sexual act. That is specifically, homosexuality, bestiality, necrophilia, pedophilia, incest, adultery, rape or fornication. Those of us who have a basic understanding of godly principles understand relatively well how DESTRUCTIVE and HARMFUL perverted lifestyle choices actually are. Not only do they invoke the wrath of God, (HIV, syphilis, gonorrhrea, chlamydia, etc), but sexual perversion destroys marriages, which in turn decimates a healthy family structure, which in fact leads to structurally and morally unsound community.

Also, for those who don't understand that homosexual acts DO in fact change a child or person that is heterosexual, I will correct you by informing you that there are literally THOUSANDS of homosexuals who share that the reason that they are currently practicing homosexuality and or suffering under homosexual urges is because of sexual abuse and molestation committed against them by other homosexual adults AND HOMOSEXUAL CHILDREN. When these types of acts are committed during a child's sexually formative years, a child who is growing up naturally as a heterosexual suffers a sexual mutation into homosexuality. That is a fact that is often exploited by homosexual offenders who have an appetite for more homosexual partners.

So before the ungodly, immoral, sexually depraved liberals of the world think they have any kind of valid points, try working with children who are bleeding due to the sexual abuse that they have suffered from older homosexuals. Talk the to the men and women who have been raped by same sex offenders. If they survive the attacks, they are often deeply depressed and suicidal due to the horrible, destructive nature of the offense. If we are to be truly humane and decent, we can't ignore this truth for the sake of any heavily weighted, lopsided argument favoring the homosexual lifestyle.

Homosexuality is a beastly and demonic spirit. It is not harmless. And it is absolutely not simply a matter of "opinion." Finally, should you be a nonbeliever who chooses to spit hatred and anger, vitriol and lies at me because of this post, let me tell you that I expect it. Studies Show Pedophiles are "born that way"

Homosexuality and Pedophilia

Pedophilia is the primary social mechanism for transferring homosexual behavior from one generation to the next. Pedophilia among homosexuals is the hidden, and often unspoken by-product of a society soft on homosexual expression. It is too often under-reported and unreported. While heterosexual pedophilia garners the liberal media attention, the far more prevalent problem of homosexual pedophilia, especially male on male, is too often ignored by that same media.

Homosexuality and Religion

All major established religions frown on homosexuality. In some religions, homosexual acts carried a death penalty. Religious prohibitions against homosexuality today is faith-based, but in the far history of the religion, the original prophets very likely observed the very decadent sexual promiscuity and homosexuality pervading now ancient and near-forgotten fallen civilizations, and linked that behavior with the ultimate disintegration of those of decadent and dying societies.

Homosexuality and Morality

Morality isn’t just faith-based, and doesn’t just belong to churches and religion, but to all of society. A choice which best serve the greater community is moral. A choice which harms the greater community is immoral. Homosexuality is harmful to the greater community by negatively affecting the health and well-being of individuals and groups within the society.

Homosexuality and Medical Health

Young and vulnerable members of the society are recruited by older homosexuals for risky sexual activity that more readily transmits diseases, reduces the victim’s self-esteem, and perverts sexual orientation. It has the end result of accelerating the development of pathogens’ resistance to antibiotics because of the prophylactic use of antibiotics by homosexuals to self medicate the many diseases they pick up because of extremely promiscuous behavior, especially among males.

Homosexuality and Mental Health

Misguided homophiles and homosexuals try to mitigate the shame, debasement, and depravity of homosexual behavior by aggressively labeling themselves as "gay" and opponents as ‘homophobic." There is nothing gay and happy about homosexual acts, especially on the recruit. And if the homosexual looks deeply back into their past for that defining moment or series of encounters with an older homosexual who first recruited them, they will relive the shame and self-loathing that it brought them.

Homosexual predation by older homosexuals among the young is especially aggressive. Young people are often forced to perform homosexual acts. If they resist they might be killed. If they comply, they are then admonished to be quiet about it, and fed propaganda that they are inherently "gay" and should willingly "join in" the "fun." It is a very disorienting time for those young recruits, and the suicide rate is very high among such young persons thus recruited.

Homosexuality and Social Institutions

Homosexuals consciously target social institutions, especially those which house children or young people, to gain access to the young and vulnerable within. It is not without deviant motivation that homosexuals seek membership and access to the Boy Scouts of America and other such youth organizations.

Homosexuals should be banned from any and all contact with our youth, including schools, governmental organizations that oversee the health and welfare of children and youth, and private groups and youth organizations such as the boy scouts and girl scouts.

Homosexuality and Politics

Political states (countries or nations) are social organisms, very analogous to living organisms. Counter-productive elements within social organisms are equivalent to viruses and other pathogens within an animal or plant.

Internal defense mechanisms are necessary to identify, neutralize and remove such disruptive elements. Failure of the government to control and eliminate disruptive and harmful elements within will result in reduced performance of the social organism, and even its termination. These are all part of the evolutionary scheme of things, and why some cultures are more successful than others.

Personal freedom of the individual can only go so far before it becomes disruptive to the social organism. Homosexuals should never be given the right to approach and recruit youngsters and children for homosexual activity.

Life isn't about the individual -- it is about the culture in which the individual is an element of. While we may in our fantasies tout the lone hero fighting evil, in reality it is the social organism fighting disruptive elements internal and external.

Homosexuals are disruptive and harmful elements within a society, and should be banned from public office, because they tend to adopt policies that condone and promote homosexual behavior.

“Christian” proponents of the first lie include Matthew Vines, author of “God and the Gay Christian,” recently released by Convergent Books, and Vicky Beeching, popular CCM singer and social commentator.  

Vines discounts the biblical accounts of God’s view of homosexuals by claiming that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed over an attempted gang rape; and that Leviticus 18 is old, outdated law.

Beeching recently “came out” as “gay,” declaring that God’s love would approve her affection for another woman. And she stated her determination to spread the lie: “I feel certain God loves me just the way I am, and I have a huge sense of calling to communicate that to young people.”

Another “Christian” singer has gone public, promoting the other lie, evolution. The false science of evolution presents biblical history as so many myths and legends. Michael Gungor, with his wife, Lisa, form the Christian band, Gungor. Like many who doubt the biblical account of creation, Gungor has bought into “theistic evolution,” the belief that somehow, God used the evolution process to create the world and all of creation. Of course, to do this, the biblical account has to be discarded as just myth and legend.

To Gungor, the Genesis account of creation is simply a poem, one of great intrinsic value, but not to be taken literally. But, as someone asked, “If you don’t believe the first 11 chapters of Genesis, why do you need John 3:16?”

This attempt to shove evolution into God’s narrative of creation demonstrates monumental ignorance of the evidence. Author Vance Ferrell, has compiled nearly 1000 pages of evidence in his book, The Evolution Handbook, confounding the “theory” of evolution.

Part two of the chapter on age of the earth illustrates King David’s declaration: “The heavens declare the glory of God...” “Ferrell describes stars so enormous in diameter that they could not have existed for millions of years, or their initial mass would have been impossibly large.”

Also in those “heavens” there are enormous stars that radiate a million times the energy of our sun. But the evolutionist’s own theory about star energy indicates these stars don’t contain enough hydrogen to maintain fusion longer than 300,000 years.

When it comes to our own sun, its radiation that warms our planet is causing it to slowly shrink. To be its present size, it would have been so large 50,000 years ago as to boil our oceans.

Ferrell’s book is a very thick read and a huge indictment of evolutionary theory. Key topics such as big bang, mutations, age of earth, inaccurate dating methods, effects of Noah’s flood, tectonics, archeological dating, DNA, are included in devastating detail.

A whole chapter is devoted to the intelligent design movement of scientists, Christian and unbelievers, who have concluded, from the overwhelming evidence, that creation must have a designer.

This fact sits deep in the heart of man who always assumes that cars, wrist watches, smart phones and bandwidth are all designed by someone. Yet, evolutionists, with a straight face, teach our children that millions of years of accidents created such wonders as their mother, puppies, whales and sunshine.

With resources such as The Evolution Handbook, you can easily counter the lies that Satan is feeding you and your kids at every turn.

Younger and younger children are encountering the question of homosexuality. As they are able, tracts like, Sin City, Home Alone, Uninvited and Doom Town can be used to guide them to the truth. Gays are under attack in Liberia after many Christian leaders, including Catholic Archbishop Lewis Zeigler of Monrovia, declared Ebola to be a punishment from God for the act of homosexuality.

Earlier this year, “more than 100 Bishops, Pastors, General Overseers, Prophets, Evangelists and other Ministers of the Gospel,” met under the auspices of the Liberian Council of Churches (LCC), to deliberate about the Ebola epidemic.

Ultimately, the Christian leaders unanimously endorsed the following resolution:

“That God is angry with Liberia, and that Ebola is a plague. Liberians have to pray and seek God’s forgiveness over the corruption and immoral acts (such as homosexualism, etc.) that continue to penetrate our society. As Christians, we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness.”

A new psychological disorder called heterophobia is infecting America. And yes, I am saying that gayness is not 100% biological—there is absolutely an environmental component, as there is for all other human behavioral traits. A genetically straight man could be turned gay if raised in an environment that nurtures and encourages his slightest homosexual tendencies, which is what America is doing today. Gender re-education will ensure that even normal heterosexual boys will be softened. Masculinity and staunch heterosexuality will be seen as a nostalgic throwback, unsuitable for modern times.

Evidence of heterophobia can be found in the immense support network that gays can depend on. If you’re a gay boy and are teased in school, the administration will rush to action. There are web sites and toll free numbers to call if you need help. Unless you live in a rural town, you won’t have to go far to receive compassionate support. But how about if you’re a teenage boy who wants to have sex? Tough luck, you privileged freak. You will be brainwashed that consensual sex is possibly rape and flirting is sexual harrasment. They are telling boys now that you can’t touch a girl without her “permission.” The only support you got are guys like me, who are being put on hate lists. If you are growing up gay today, people trip over themselves to help you deal with your issues, but if you’re a straight boy, they’ll teach you harmful propaganda to prevent you from even getting laid. That is very disappointing. I though that proportionately, homosexuals/bisexuals/transvestites were supposed to be about 5% of the population, yet they appear to be quite heavily represented in the media, entertainment industry, and so on. At an alarming rate, increasingly more people, many ordinary men, women, and children in fact, are becoming acceptive of this sin. It is a sin, but the deceptions seem to be desiring to appear nice and progressive to other people, even if one is not homosexual themselves.
Something I have always found strange about the homosexual movement is that they place sexuality above all else, which puts them into a category of being sexually obsessive. If straight pride parades even exist, they are very few and insignificantly represented, as the point is that a parade expressing pride in carnal matters is not a normal phenomenon. It makes me wonder about when there was a point in these peoples' lives they understood it to be wrong and distorted, but I wonder when that sense became lost, and why? These individuals clearly aren't trying to address the problem, but celebrate it instead.

I heard a lot from people trying to stomp on Christians when talking about homosexuality. For example, "If bet you don't wear mixed cloths or eat pork or shellfish!" Blah blah blah. Didn't you read the Bible? There are three categories of laws: moral, civil, ceremonial. It's pretty obvious which ones the examples (overused as they are) belong to. Thanks to the ultimate sacrifice, courtesy of Jesus Christ, the ceremonial laws were fulfilled. Due to the fall of Israel, the civil laws were over with. As a result, mixed clothes and food restrictions no longer apply. It's a good thing, too, because I love eating my bundles of shrimp!

Here's another example: "If you don't follow Leviticus anymore, then don't condemn homosexuality!" Moral laws still apply. There's nothing civil nor ceremonial about homosexuality prohibitions. Aside from the whole moral law thing, there are a few convenient laws our opponents forget, including the law against *gasp* bestiality! If we Christians need to stop condemning homosexuality, I suppose bestiality should be allowable? I mean, Leviticus is supposedly super outdated! As in, all laws apparently don't apply anymore! Well, go and bed an animal, because that's now a-okay!

The 1973 Roe v Wade high court will forever be stained with the blood of children on its collective hands.

The liberal majority in the 2014 Roberts court will now be labeled with the “C” word—for being cowards. These justices upended American civilization while standing on the sidelines.

Millions of voters in five states were assaulted in the public square, disenfranchised by this court’s decision to not overturn erroneous lower court rulings validating same sex “marriage.” Like Saul during the stoning of Stephen, they became bystanders, nodding their assent as terrible violence was committed.

The “gay” bullies got their way. Truth and morality were trampled but the black-robed bystanders will plead innocence.

The good news is that this, like Roe, is sure to galvanize the conservative base on the issue of homosexuality like nothing has in decades.

“No political momentum on the other side of this issue.” So declared Brit Hume of Fox News on October 6. He was referring to natural marriage advocacy as he reacted to the Supreme Court’s non-decision. I don’t agree with him about the past, but it’s an interesting reaction. The future will be, I predict, an unmistakably renewed fight, as many Americans are rightly furious. Why are we suddenly forced in many states to recognize homosexual unions as genuine marriage? Didn’t we vote on this in thirty- one states?

Roe didn’t change the sanctity of life and current court decisions do not change the truth about sodomy.

But while we are mulling this over, we need to be honest. Our side could deploy better arguments, frankly. I respect those fighting the specific battle against recognition of same sex unions. Yet can’t we revisit the worth of more boldly proclaiming the whole truth, playing our two trump cards: the deviance of homosexual behavior and the lack of evidence for a “gay gene?”

So going forward, let’s deploy a coordinated strategy involving several fronts in this war that might include, by choice, both a harder and a softer-sell approach. Both are needed to address the entire disease, to treat the primary cancer—homosexual behavior—and its metastasis, fraudulent marriage.

Possibly the only way to reverse course on this, would be to rescind governmental and employment benefits regarding marriage and family status. Some think that the push for homosexual marriage was to get homosexual partners on employer based health insurance plans, for example. I will agree with you that homosexuals are often treated worse than people who commit other sins, but have you ever asked yourself why? I will give you a couple of reason I believe this happens. In the last 20 years (your whole life time) homosexuals have decided to "come out of the closet" so to speak. What they mean by that is that they will no longer hide their sin. Okay, as much as I hate the sin (all sin) I do understand that people who are un-saved will continue to commit them. However, what I don't understand is the fact that it is not just 'not hiding' their sin that they want, they want to flaunt it in everyone's face.

Here is an example that happened in the town where I live. There as a male teacher who decided that he was going to 'come out' and he did so in front of the students he was teaching. Many area pastors, parents, etc... were very upset and lobbied to get him fired. People on the other side said that they were being in tolerant and should show more Christian love. Even some Christians claim this. Here is my stand, I think he should have been fired. But allow me to explain. If a teacher came to his or her class and announced that they were a chronic liar, or an adulterer, or a child molester, or addicted to pornography and that they were coming out because they were not ashamed of it, then I think they should be fired also.

We would not put up with a heterosexual teacher bringing their sexual life into the classroom, so why should we put up with a homosexual teacher doing so? I will agree with you there is a double standard, but not as you seem to think there is. If you dare to speak out against the sin of homosexuality you are labeled as intolerant. Yet they can bash Christians all you want and no one cares.

Here is another point. You said you did not know anyone who wanted to be homosexual and therefore you do not think they have a choice. If that is true then why do they publicly announce that they are on a recruiting campaign? What does a recruiting campaign have to do with something no one chooses in the first place? Saul Hillel Benjamin claims in a new lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- he was hired to run the Epiphany School for Global Studies founded by Sparks in 2006.

Benjamin says he began complaining to the author of "The Notebook" and others ... the school had virtually no African Americans -- 2 out of 514 students. Benjamin claims Sparks responded, "Black students are too poor and can't do the academic work."

Benjamin also says Sparks got incensed when he [Benjamin] met with the NAACP North Carolina chapter, telling the headmaster to "engage only in private and less visible contact with African Americans."

The lawsuit goes on ... claiming Sparks ignored bullying claims by gay students and even lent support to a student group that wanted to enact a "homo-caust."

Benjamin also claims Sparks publicly humiliated him by forcing him to get up in front of the entire school and justify his Jewish heritage. He says the parents of the students hurled insults at him while the board applauded.

Benjamin says he was fired and Sparks -- who famously wrote "The Notebook" about a couple's love transcending Alzheimer's -- telling others in the school to ignore Benjamin's claims because he was suffering from Alzheimer's.

I'm only against male homosexuality, the Scriptures say nothing about women though it's strongly suggested that women marry (it's mostly against pure lesbianism in that case, then again the Scriptures never actually say anyone needs to get married).

It's the penetrating member that's the problem, a woman has no way of actually having Scriptural intercourse with another woman, so therefore they're free in that respect. My question is why can't this opinion be respected?

In an interview with Cleveland Right to Life’s Molly Smith earlier this month, Mission America President Linda Harvey claimed that LGBT youth centers are in fact “homosexual sex centers” where “kids are being preyed upon by older homosexuals” and contracting HIV.

When a viewer called in for Robertson’s advice about how best to deal with news that her 21-year-old daughter had begun dating a woman, the host offered some words of wisdom about LGBT millennials.

I've already played games where that has been the case. I'm pretty anti- gay men, (if you want my thoughts on the subject of homosexuality some of the back messages are probably still around. The specifics have little to do with this discussion however) however) but that doesn't mean I get into some kind of frothing rage at the merest mention of gay men or whatever.
To be honest with most video games out there are set up, the only way the protaganist's sexual orientation is going to matter is if they go out of the way to bring it to the forefront. If this means that playing a game where the protaganist gets involved in numerous make out sessions with guys, or makes a big deal about being gay, is not going to appeal to me. After all that kind of thing is hardly a turn on for me, and since I don't like it, there is no real appeal to the situation, if they are going to put that much focus on it for the point of the game, my time would better be spent playing a game where this wasn't the case.
As far as games I've played with gay main characters or protaganists (that weren't me being a perv with a couple of girl characters) there have been a few. "Phantasmagoria II: A Puzzle Of The Flesh" involves an entire subplot about the character you control dealing with their homosexuality in their shrink's office. Then of course there is "Enchanted Arms" where the hero's main sidekick is a male homosexual with a crush on him. Then we have "Persona 4" where one of the party members being a gay man is actually the theme of a whole dungeon section. When it comes to antagonists, let's just say that if you have ever played a game about Conan that has featured characters from the books, a few of them were "boy lovers". Conan was before political correctness when it was written, and while it was never a focus, Conan has a major amount of contempt for gays and "boy lovers", and while never descriptive a number of his enemies were supposed to have been weakened by such "civilized decadence". Of course in the video games they rarely even go as far as the stories (both canon, and very old non-canon) did, which wasn't very far. Like most heroes a lot of his enemies "almost get him" in one way or another (a trap or spell, if not a straight fight) so you really can't call them impotent (so to speak) for their orientation irregardless of what Conan might think.
If you want to get technical, I think this entire "question" is a bit less profound than you might have intended. To be honest homosexuals have been fairly well represented as far as gaming goes, you just have to understand your dealing with a tiny percentage of the population. Fair representation does not mean "equal time with the majority" simply that a group is not totally neglected simply for being what it is. That's why I have such an issue with political correctness, and preferred Bioware's approach to romances in the first "Dragon Age" game to the "everyone is bi-sexual" approach of the second one. Granted you don't see much homosexuality in games in general, but that's pretty much in keeping with the number of homosexuals in society. Such things are there if you look for them, and have been for a long time.
That said, if you were doing a game like "Duke Nukem" but with the protaganist being an agressively flamboyant homosexual (of whatever style) instead of a manly flamboyant heterosexual, I don't think it would find much of an audience. Humor or not, it's meant to be slightly risque in it's own way, and someone without those tendencies wouldn't wind up appreciating the eye candy so to speak. I don't think there is enough of an audience to really sustain it.
That's a somewhat informed opinion as well, because it's been tried. They released those "Cho Aniki" games which are a series of tongue-in-cheek platformers featuring gay musclemen. We've actually seen ports of a couple of the titles to the US. From what I've heard the series has largely survived due to being relatively cheap to produce and a fan
base that is dedicated if not exactly numerous which does make it profitable. If it was tried on a fairly big-budget level like "Duke Nukem Forever" I don't think the audience would sustain it since there just wouldn't be enough gays with enough interest, and even if homosexuality doesn't offend someone they really aren't going to find a lot of gay innuendos aand cheesecake all that thrilling to want to dedicate hours upon hours expoising themselves to it, after dishing out a $60 price of admission.
Such are my thoughts. Due to being an admitted perv I'm intentionally staying away from the idea of lesbian characters because hey, like a lot of guys, I do find that fairly "hot" when presented the right way. Also I do believe that gays and lesbians are differant situations entirely, but that's not something I'm going to go into again. Again there are probably some back messages where I explain it (and the likely arguement would go nowhere) but simply put it has nothing to really do with it being "okay because it turns me on". The point being that I more or less agree with you excluding that aspect of the discussion. Especially seeing as I think that there are enough people out there like me in their "interests" irregardless of why that a hot lesbian heroine can find a niche among the male video gaming population and be sustained at a fairly high level, where I don't think gay men can be. You could probably do a Lesbian version of Duke Nukem and all the guys who bought Duke Nukem would also buy that game for largely the same reasons, and wind up appreciating the eye candy just as much. Whether it's fair or right or not is not something I'm going to argue, it just is, which is why (as I said) I agree with you there.

You’ve heard of people getting trapped into religious sects and sort of addicted to it, right? They never get out by themselves. Same thing here.

So, if you are at the beginning of your sexuality and you get trapped in a homosexual pattern, you may never get out of it. And yes, by the time you reach legal age, you will feel genuinely attracted to boys. But this attraction will be the result of an induced or imposed behavior, not a genetic determination of any sort.
In the past, a boy may have feel confused with his hormones and vaguely attracted to boys for a short time, but that was it. No Induced process was there to imprint his brain because of the barriers put in place by the Society, plus Religion forbade it, so, end of story. Now, here is an incredible concept: the Society was actually protecting its Citizen, can you believe it?

That’s one thing. The other thing is the chemical environment. It contains pollutants and hormones analogues, that decrease men’s hormonal load, which translates into hetero men with lower sperm count and in boys into small breast and small penises. A note here: fat is great to store all these pollutants, in addition to racial differences in sensitivity and fat storage. See how everything is linked?
Then, obviously, many more boys will start at the edges of hormonal un-differentiation and will become easy preys to the psychological mechanisms mentioned above.

I do have to offer some acknowledgement to the extraordinarily homosexual Mr. Daniel Ashley Pierce. By consciously publicizing a very painful and very private family rupture, and thus turning the parents that suffered to raise him into international objects of the liberal rending machine, he has successfully increased my already elevated ambient contempt to something quite invigorating in its intensity.

A judge in Australia has been reprimanded because he dared state what many have been thinking as we watch the progression of sexual sin in the world. He was temporarily suspended for suggesting that modern juries may be coming to the point where they could not see a problem with incest.

He cited the fact that in the 1950s a jury would have found it “...unnatural for a man to be interested in another man... Those things have gone.”

He observed that the reason for incest laws was to prevent genetic abnormalities in children born to close relatives. The ease of contraception and abortion has eliminated this concern, he reasoned.

Because we are ignoring God’s clear abhorrence for sexual perversion, the situation is getting more chaotic. In Houston, Texas, the lesbian mayor signed a law allowing “transgenders” to use whichever bathroom they wish. Some schools are also wrestling with this confusion.

This year the Southern Baptist Convention was forced to make a clear statement because a pastor at an SBC-member church performed a same sex marriage for his son. They resolved that God’s design for gender did not include a “third way.”

Many other groups are watching the success of the homosexual steam roller, hoping to duplicate the public acceptance of their perversion. In Brooklyn, a 15-apartment complex dedicated to “polyamory” is almost full, says Leon Feingold, co-president of Open Love NY. In contrast to polygamy, (one man, many wives), polyamory is defined as “participation in multiple and simultaneous loving or sexual relationships.”

The North American Man-Boy-Love Association web site continues to advocate for the elimination of the age-of-consent laws allowing adult sexual predators legal access to children.

Many colleges and universities from Bowdoin to Vanderbilt have instituted “non-discrimination” policies telling Christian campus clubs that they cannot bar homosexuals from leadership. While all sinners are welcome to attend meetings, leaders cannot be required to sign a pledge to abstain from unbiblical behavior.

Some voices of sanity are beginning to be heard. The British Royal College of Psychiatrists has come out with a statement that there is no proof that people are born homosexual. This undercuts the laws in some states against “reparative therapy” where professional counselors are forbidden to counsel anyone underage wishing help in converting to a normal lifestyle.

The “born-that-way” mantra of homosexuals was again called into question by a recent report from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Citing a comprehensive scientific study of 400 homosexual men “—the researchers concluded that homosexuality cannot be traced to specific genes.”

While scientists still maintain that genetics can be a factor, they admit that: “Environmental factors, such as the absence of a father or an unhealthy domestic upbringing, might play significant roles.”

Studies of this sort help bring the discussion back to the biblical viewpoint, that homosexual behavior is a choice. While many “evangelicals” have bought the idea of a homosexual “orientation” which presumes born-that-way, other explanations are surfacing.

One study indicated that an overwhelming majority of those so “oriented” were molested as children.

This tends to support the view presented in the Chick tract, Home Alone, that demonic involvement is introduced early on. Bible believers must continue to present God’s word on the subject: perversion of sexual activity outside His original plan of man and wife is sin. God, through Christ, provided a remedy for all sin, no matter how tenacious its hold on a person.

Gavin McInnes thinks that Marriage is a panacea, as in, if we just allow gays to get married, they'll settle down and jettison their cultural Marxism and stop having promiscuous sex, like Gavin did.

Gavin is heterosexual and a reformed rake who married outside his peer group, because his peer group is so jaded and STD-ridden there's no marriageable females left in it. He thinks marriage is good, which it is, ergo if only homosexuals could experience marriage they'd all settle down and become reformed hipsters, like Gavin has. But what Gavin doesn't realize is that homosexuals can never, ever experience marriage. Marriage, to use a crude metaphor, is how the plug and the outlet find common ground in order to complete the whole human experience. Two plugs or two outlets can't do this. You can offer marriage to whatever couplings the deviant mind can dream up; it won't expunge the pathology from the pathological. Gay marriage is not about turning gays into low time-preference, minarchist conservatives who live behind picket fences. It's about devaluing marriage for all of society by extending it to any and all sexual couplings.

Marriage ties one into the entire great chain of being. It's a little micro-cosmos, a mini-kingdom, the Creation story playing out right there in your living room. Two homosexuals can't recreate that, and I don't care with what level of dignity and refinement they carry themselves or what extruded process they go through to acquire children. The idea that George Takei or Elton John are "married" to their partners will always be a pathetic joke.

The chairman of the Old Testament who translated the New International Version was an open homosexual. No wonder he removed the word “sodomite” from the Bible completely. It is wickedness to remove the word sodomite from the Bible, which is the Biblical term for a homosexual. Romans 1:25 says that the wicked “change the truth of God into a lie.” Homosexuality is a horrible sin, just as are all sins. Any sin can be forgiven in Christ, but this does not mean embracing the homosexual lifestyle as being acceptable or legitimate. The NIV Bible is of the Devil, translated and endorsed by homosexuals.

If you love Jesus, then you're not going to use a perverted Bible version that diminishes His deity, removes the Godhead and removed the blood of Jesus 15 TIMES!

If Dr. John R. Rice were still alive on earth today, I am convinced that he would take an uncompromising stand as I am, as a preacher, against the perversion of modern corrupt Bible versions. The NIV took the Bible version issue to a whole new level. Now the new NIV 2011 has been published, which is gender neutral, no longer calls the Holy Spirit a “He,” wives are no longer commanded to obey their husbands, et cetera.

What's really sad about all this is that her statement will make many young Christians believe the lie as if it's the truth due to her attempts to twist God's Word. She can claim all she likes that homosexuality is "a God given gift" unto her after giving up to the demons rather than bowing to Christ who can free her from this bondage of sin. Sin can be manifested in many ways. Homosexuality is just one way it ears its ugly head. In a society wherein everything from promiscuous heterosexuality to recreational drug use are accepted as the norm, it's understandable that some will simply give up and bow to the sin as if it's ok when they see so many others doing it all around them. They no doubt think of it as a "gift from God" as this poor soul says in the video. In any event, bringing her to the limelight in this manner has always been Satan's method to destroy the faith of billions. He uses what the world calls strong Christians no matter how much they deny the Bible by getting them to perform sinful acts publicly or announce loyalty to sin in the name of Christianity. It is no coincidence this woman is a Roman Catholic Theologian either. That's right, she admits to having a PHD in Theology at around 13:00 in the video so as to brow beat the Christian evangelist who's trying to help her. She cannot see the truth he is sharing because her religion of choice fosters all sorts of sinful acceptance within its walls simply by its Paganistic theology alone. The fact her theological teachers have often stated in writing their hatred of the Bible highlights the fact that her theological instruct is subject to Biblical exposure by even the youngest babe in Christ. Bottom line is this. According to the written Word of God, homosexuality is an abomination unto God. It questions Him as the perfect Creator and declares Him a liar when He proclaims He created Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve in the Garden. Therefore, she cannot be seen as an obedient Christian by any means. Being a theologian wherein she is expected to know the Word more than most; she is now what the Word defines as a "worker of iniquity." Sadly, the Bible is painfully clear about how the Lord looks upon those that "hold the truth in unrighteousness." Psalms 5:4-5 plainly states "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity." With so many watered down sermons and lukewarm Christians out there today that bow to all decadence in this age of ecumenical movement rush, someone needs to step up and speak as the Lord would have them speak
