Just found out my son is gay?
Ok, first of all, my son is 17 years old. He came up to me and informed me that he was gay. Well, needless to say i was very upset. I yelled at him to get out of my house and said i never wanted to see him again. I used to love my son but honestly don't think i could after this. I just don't know how i could forgive him for this. We are very religious people and i thought i had raised him better then this. Can anyone help me?
Have you ever carefully observed a person with physical handicaps like blindness, or deafness or dumbness or with disability of the hands and legs? If it is the blind person, he cannot with the eyes of the head like you and me can but that person is saved from even accidentally viewing Voyeuristic scenes in the newspapers and magazines accidentally coming across vulgar and suggestive film posters on the streets. If we talk of the deaf person, he is saved from hearing Gossips and verbal abuses that people in cities normally end up giving to each other, including the educated lot of people. If we talk of a dumb person, he or she is saved from casually lying to people around us and even spoiling the children around us in the process. If we talk of a person with physical disabilities of the hands or the legs, that person is saved from hurting an innocent person in a fit of anger. That person is saved from the guilt of remaining passive when an innocent women or girl is being eve-teased or sexually harassed in front of him. Thus, it is high time we learn to appreciate and rediscover the value of the assets that Almighty has gifted us with otherwise we would still be handicapped despite having our eyes, tongue, ears, hands and legs in perfect order.

Yesterday we visited with some friends, and one of them asked me if I had seen the Spiderman movies. I was a little shocked that he asked me this, since i know this person is a Christian. I told him "no" and that I would never allow movies like that in my home or around my family. My friend was puzzled about why I felt this way. I explained that we as Christians should never watch such stuff, because in it Spiderman is performing magic and all kind of miracles. This is blasphemous, because Jesus is the only one who can perform miracles and great feats.
My friend was shocked. He told me that "It's just a movie!" Everyone else we were visiting wiht that day agreed with him, too!

Christians hate it when I say this, but scripture does NOT say that ALL human life came from Adam & Eve. It says that Eve became the mother of all "living." The family tree referred to begins with Adam & ends with Jesus. That's the family talked about. It's clear b/c when you get to the flood & Noah, (which also talks about Nephilim, but that's another story), Noah, of all Adam's descendants was the only who had kept his blood line pure but not intermingling with other humans outside his family tree (or with the Nephilin).
People just don't get that the bible is not the story of ALL human kind. It's about family line from YHWH's creation of Adam to final Holy Spirit begetting Jesus. The people in between were not all pure blooded. Those interracial marriages (from people anathema to Israelites) are also noted in Old Testament.
I read a comment by a lady before writing this that says schools are for learning and not indoctrination. It is interesting because that is exactly what the humanist are using schools for. to indoctrinate our children with the Humanist doctrine. that there is no god, that we all came from monkeys. If it feels good do it. The least these schools can do is show both sides of the argument instead of showing there own side.
