I attended a recent "gay pride" parade in Columbus. I'd been to one a few years earlier, and the bad news is that the event has grown much, much larger.

Corporate support is everywhere. Macy's, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, JC Penney, Chipotle, Frito-Lay, and many others. Local Ohio banks, Fifth-Third and Huntington. American Family Insurance. All had sizeable contingents of marchers and banners.

So the continuing high incidence of HIV among males who have sex with males, generating around 29,000 new cases per year in the U.S., is acceptable to these companies and their boards of directors? Just asking. This abundant fruit, so to speak, of the homosexual community is now ignored by the media and considered a big yawn, except by those infected, of course.

JC Penney even sponsored a "Teen Village," with activities for teens from ages 13 to 19 well into Saturday evening following the parade. Aside from the disturbing thought of 13- year- olds socializing with 19- year- olds (apparently no one is concerned here about the potential for child molestation), the teen program advertised that it would include performances by "drag queens and kings," which are males and females flamboyantly dressed as the opposite sex.

And we wonder why some kids are seriously messed up?

Also among the parade marchers were proud politicians. And churches: Episcopal, United Methodist, Evangelical Lutheran and Metropolitan Community Churches, which are founded on a pro-homosexual platform.

One banner from the New Creation Metropolitan Community Church included a prominent slogan: "United Against the Flood of Homophobia." I looked around. There were thousands of cheering people and not one visible expression of homophobia, or even disapproval, much less anything like a flood. And of course, the lavish parade itself, including banners on all the city streetlight poles, was allowed on Columbus' main thoroughfare. Hyperbole, anyone? But no surprise. This movement has cut its teeth on over-the-top whining and victim posturing.

The most disturbing element was the children, lots of them, many with some sort of rainbow jewelry, flag or banner on a stroller. Signs like, "I love my two dads," which the nine or ten-year old next to "dad" had stopped holding and dad was doing for him. Again, what about the mom deliberately left out of this picture? Children want to know both their moms and their dads. To deny them this, is to be selfish, immature parents.

What these folks are proud of is deeply disturbing as a cultural trend but more importantly as an indicator of the depraved values they accept and are working actively to promote. Homosexuality is profoundly disordered, is often harmful physically [think, anal sex between two guys], is empty of the creation of new life, and ends up hurting the participants themselves as well as those to whom their lives are connected. And it's not "hate" to say so-just fact.

Homosexuality is also a considerable threat to religious liberty and free speech, as the demand to show "respect" for these lifestyles is fast becoming a club to silence people who won't assent and don't want homosexual approval taught to their children. The leaders of this movement talk about tolerance, but check out what they do, not what they say. The unfounded harassment incidents are starting to pile up.

This is an excellent point. And it must always be kept in mind that ideology was the cause of the mass-murders of the 20th century. In the USSR anyone who questioned collectivization (and there were people who questioned it based on natural law) was imprisoned or killed. There are a lot of stupid people (Lenin called them "useful idiots") who will treat their ideology as proven scientific fact.

The homosexual orientation ideology is the kind of belief that can cause the Left-fascist useful twitidiots to kill in the name of "tolerance." They view as "bigots" the many people who see homosexual behavior (especially male homosexuals) as the result of sexual obsessions (similar to food obsessions).

What I’m confused about is why there has been virtually no mention of this scandal in the context of recent reporting about Pope Francis’ proclamation about homosexual priests.

Instead, there has been jubilation.

It was front-page news everywhere.

Yet, I am hard-pressed to find even one mention in any of these reports of the massive scandal that cost the church prestige, moral standing and hundreds of millions of dollars in lawsuits.

Just to refresh your memory, while talking to the press aboard his plane returning to the Vatican from his visit to Brazil Monday, the pope was asked what he thought about “gay” priests who aren’t sexually active. His response: “Who am I to judge a gay person of goodwill who seeks the Lord? You can’t marginalize these people.”

While it was a somewhat ambiguous question and a more ambiguous answer, what’s most troubling to me is the complete silence of the press on the matter of the molestations. By definition, only homosexual priests would even be inclined to molest boys.

Here are 7 ways the homosexualization of "marriage" has de-valued the traditional marriages of all Christian families, including my own:

1. It has made our traditional marriage less valuable in the eyes of the state.

2. It has forced Christian couples to pay more taxes to make up for the homosexual "bonus pay" now issued by as tax-benefits given to gay "married" couples.

3. It has de-valued by inflation our dollars in our family's bank accounts by increasing the national debt to pay for more government benefits for gay "married" couples, for which the Fed must print new dollars to pay such debt.

4. It has taken away the rights of Christian couples and Catholic charities to foster or adopt children in states like Massachusetts, as my friend Amy Contrada proves here.

5. It has hurt our national security and therefore our family's safety by de-funding benefits given to straight couples or weapon systems and re-distributing those Pentagon dollars to gay "married" couples.

6. It has hurt our ability to worship Almighty God in a Christian chapel building whose altar has been desecrated by homosexual "weddings" depriving us of a sacred worship space.

7. It has threatened our family's religious freedom in countless ways, as I explain here.

I do not understand the question. A homosexual couple living chastely is not a homosexual couple, because then they are not performing homosexual acts. Homosexuals are not a race or subspecies of man. They are men who indulge in a certain vice, like alcoholics, or like men who have sex with their sisters.

An unmarried pair of unrelated roommate cannot adopt a child in any state in the union of which I am aware. Anyone can identify anyone else as having their power of attorney for health care decisions. I am not sure what financial benefits you mean: there is no point in giving the tax breaks given a married couple to a pair of unrelated roommates.

In any case, I was once firmly in the pro-gay camp, and in the pro-anything camp, provided two (or more) adults consented: they should be left alone to do their business and they would leave others alone. One of the things that drove me out of that camp was that when the Commonwealth of Massachusetts offered to institute Civil Unions, which would have all the legal benefits of marriage, the highest Court of Massachusetts told the legislature that anything less than calling the Civil Unions marriage would be illegal and unconstitutional. And the Leftwing activists back this position. I heard not a single dissenting voice from that side of the argument.

The implication was clear. The pervertarians want the perversion to be given the honors and applause the a healthy society awards to the sacrament of marriage, and the mere fact that a homosexual pair cannot, in any real sense, have sex, copulate, reproduce, form a family, form a sexual dyad, or be anything more than a kinky mockery or take-off of real marriage is brushed away by a mental act of thought-censorship worthy of Orwell.

Even to bring up the topic of the biological impossibility to homosexuals forming the heterosexual dyad needed for marriage is greeting with screams loud enough to block out any further rational thought. This boycott against Card is part of that mechanism of screaming.

The homosexuals I know personally do not give a Tinker’s Damn about marriage. Nearly everyone behind this movement is a heterosexual, usually happily married, but one who thinks it is wrong for perversion to be discriminated against. They want to encourage and applaud sexual perversion because and only because it is perverse. They think this serves justice and creates peace and wellbeing. They are not perverts themselves, but they are pervertarians.

The pervertarians do not simply want to be left alone, to live and let live. They want society to pretend that perversion is normal, even though their five senses tell them that it is not. So they must block out what their senses tell them with a legal bit of make-believe.

Anyone, like a caterer or a wedding cake decorator or a wedding photographer or a Catholic Church who does not want to play along with the mockery (and I mean that in both senses of the word) of marriage must be punished soundly, so that no one will dare bring to the awareness of the poor victims a sexual dysfunction that they are pretending something will make them happy which only leads to misery.

And so every Leftist believes, and tells each other they all believe, that there is no difference between chastity and perversion, no difference between male and female, no difference between sane sexual drive and neurotic sexual drives, no difference between health and addiction, no difference between sanity and insanity, no difference between right and wrong.

This is the core of nihilism, which is the belief that there are no ultimate truths, no objective truths. The belief is that by eliminating all differences between right and wrong, sane and insane, chaste and perverse, male and female, all conflict will cease and utopia will bloom.

Whether one realizes it or not, our entire legal system was established upon the Bible. In the good ole days of America, adultery was against the law, as was homosexuality, witchcraft and stealing. The Ten Commandments used to be the basis upon which our laws were based. Sadly, today's laws are increasingly being changed in accordance with the wickedness of an immoral and reckless apostate society. Please read, The U.S. Constitution and Faith in God.

We ought to obey the Laws set forth in the Word of God. Exodus 22:18 plainly states, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” The Bible mandates the death penalty upon all genuine witches, just as the Bible pronounces death for all abortionists, adulterers, murders and homosexuals. Get mad at God if you don't like it, because He said it. Salem, Massachusetts is in serious trouble with God for legalizing, encouraging, sponsoring and honoring witchcraft.

Witchcraft should be punishable by law. No one has the freedom to undermine the very basis upon which freedom is established—FAITH IN THE GOD OF THE BIBLE. The entire philosophy of witchcraft and Satanism is that a person can do anything they want, just so long as no one gets hurt; but that's the big lie, because fornication, homosexuality and abortion DOES hurt others, very much so. The evils of divorce, venereal disease, fatherless children, A.I.D.S. and millions of brutally aborted babies is evidence of this.

Let me say this in plain English: The gay community wants to indoctrinate an entire generation of American children with pro-homosexual propaganda and eliminate traditional values from American society. Their ultimate dream is to create a new America based on sexual promiscuity in which the values you and I cherish are long forgotten.

As I read what those amazing One Million Moms did by calling Disney to shut down the airing of lesbian moms on the show Good Luck Charlie, I felt relieved to know we are still fighting for what is valuable. That was a bold move, and I commend them for taking a stand.

However, does something like this have to happen in order for us to get involved with this issue that is polluting our airwaves? Why can't we, as the church, be proactive instead of reactive?

"This is not new for the show. That show has been promoting homosexuality with the kid character for some time. My 8 year old told me about the show, I was shocked and didn't know what to think until my niece was watching the show while my mom watched her and a boy character had a crush on another boy character on the show. We do not have a television by the way. The Lord moved me to get rid of it in 2010."

Really? Don't you see what's happening here, church? The gay community is getting its message across—that change in sexual orientation is not possible—only because they have been given airtime on many TV shows and movies, and the media has had a voice in telling us what is right and true in their eyes. On Thursday, for example, Good Morning America aired a story of a high school coach from Yonkers, N.Y., who came out to his basketball players.

One Million Moms should push for Disney and many other shows to air a show with a person that has left the life of homosexuality. When have we seen this kind of lifestyle being shown in a positive light on Lifetime movies, in secular media, on Capitol Hill, at the White House or on any other television show, for that matter?

Maybe they fear that we can debunk the lies that it's not by choice they live a homosexual life and that change is not possible.

Compassion and politics are a volatile mix. In the guise of fighting poverty, 1960s Great Society programs destroyed the black family and gave us an 80% out-of-wedlock birth rate in the inner city.

Currently, anti-family ideologues are playing the compassion card against those of us who resist the deconstruction of marriage. In his majority opinion overruling DOMA, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy said defenders of the natural family are telling gays that their unions are inferior to ours. No wonder homosexuals think Republicans are mean.

Compassion was used to sell legalized abortion. Feminists demanded empathy for the victims of biology. "What are you going to do about the 16-year-old who's pregnant? Tell her to carry the baby to term – ruining her hopes of getting an education, having a career, perhaps even marrying? Exposing her to the horrors of a back-alley abortion?" The mainstream media insist that the gender gap is the result of the GOP's mean-spiritedness, designated the Republican war on women.

Beginning with Roe, four decades of liberal compassion have resulted in 56 million dead babies, not to mention falling fertility and the decline of marriage, to the great detriment of women as well as men.

The Richmond [VA] City Council is preparing to open discussion on extending benefits to married same-sex couples who work for the city.

A major local church is already slamming the move.

"When the country gets to a point where we make legal what God says is not legal," said Richmond Christian Center Pastor Steve Parsons. "We are in trouble."

The new ordinance calls for amending or reordaining the city code to recognize same sex marriages that have lawfully occurred in other states. It would require the city to provide benefits for the spouses of Richmond city workers in same sex marriages.

"They are not in that other region," said Pastor Parsons. "They are in this region, and in this region it is not legal. I don't feel as if they should have the benefits."

Richmond city council member Parker Agelasto says it is time to act.

"There is a new council," said Mr. Agelasto. "There is a Supreme Court ruling. I think now is the time."

Patrons of the ordinance include city council president Charles Samuels.

"So essentially what we are trying to do is to make sure that the city work force is not discriminated against in any fashion," said Mr. Agelasto.

Pastor Parsons says this is not a civil rights issue.

"I don't call it discriminating against people when you don't give them the right to be married," said Parsons. "Because there are certain rights that people shouldn't have."

A recent poll by the Human Rights Campaign shows 55 percent of Virginians support marriage equality.

"No," said Parsons. "Men shouldn't have the right to marry other men in the same sense that a father shouldn't have the right to marry his daughter."

I can’t point to any country of the world today that is a model for the rest of the world, except perhaps for Russia, which has just taken the very important and frankly necessary step of criminalizing homosexual propaganda to protect the society from being “homosexualzed.” This was one of my recommendation to Russian leaders in my 50-city tour of the former Soviet Union in 2006 and 2007.

To fully protect your country from the moral destruction that is raging in the United States and Europe it is necessary to affirm and protect authentic marriage as the only proper context for sexual relationships, and to actively discourage sex outside of marriage through your public policy, reserving limited tolerance for people who choose to live discretely outside the mainstream. I strongly advise that you adopt an anti-propaganda law similar to what Russia has recently passed, to stop the “gay” agenda from advancing any further that it may already have done. It will also be necessary to uproot and discard any existing sexual orientation regulations (the bad seeds) which criminalize discrimination against homosexuality in your laws and in the official policies of your government agencies, universities, corporations, and NGOs.

Lastly, it is important to keep in mind that many homosexuals are unwilling and unhappy members of this “gay” movement. For them homosexuality is not “gay” (meaning happy and carefree), but SADD, which is the acronym for “Same-Sex Attraction Disorder,” the condition with which they suffer. Even as we firmly resist the efforts of this destructive movement, we should not lose compassion for those who suffer from this terrible dysfunction. We should strongly discourage and oppose those who would choose the path of hatred and violence against individuals rather than rational, objective policy-making against their socially destructive philosophy and political agenda.

My stepsister’s father was homosexual who abandoned her at the age of seven to go live with his homosexual lover, a worthless boy. Never once in my hearing did I hear any criticism of him for this decision. I saw not the least hint of disapproval or discrimination or revulsion. No one called him a pervert, even though he surely knew his sex drive was misaligned, and drove him where he did not want to go.

He committed suicide.

I am not a mind reader, and I do not know what is in his heart, but I suspect that his pursuit of a lifestyle all the lying-ass jerks on the Left kept telling him was a good and worthy lifestyle was what killed him.

Let me be clear: I say people like you kept telling him that it was society’s fault that he was unhappy, because everyone hated him. People like you kept telling him if he just tried a little harder to follower his sexually abnormal desires, the desires would become normal, and satisfy him with happiness.

People like you lied and lied and lied, and so people like you killed him.

And for what? So you could play a little game of moral superiority with yourself, and tell yourself that your inability to distinguish between male and female, right and wrong, healthy and sickness, life and death, was a sign of your broadmindedness.

You boast that you cannot see the difference. You cannot discriminate. You cannot make judgments. You cannot face facts. You cannot think.

The clear common motivator in all oppressive movements [slavery, anti-suffrage, Jim Crow racism] was financial gain, not biblical dishonesty which facilitated systemic power over another group. The bible’s words became a convenient tool in the hands of these people. Not only the Bible, but the US Constitution was misused as well.

But there exists no such financial benefit for people who correctly interpret scripture in reference to homosexual practices. No one who believes, teaches and upholds the sexual standards of the bible stands to benefit financially from doing so. In an ever increasing age of intolerant tolerance, such people and organizations actually are penalized for not falling in line with homosexual inclusion ideology. Logically, for the church to be compared to the aforementioned oppressive movements, it would have to allow homosexual inclusion.

Therefore its the religious progays who are financially benefiting from the misinterpretation of scripture just like slaveowners, the anti-suffrage sexists and the jim crow racists.

Homosexuality ought not be allowed to exist in our country. It should be banned and punished by law, as it used to be a century ago. In many countries it is still a capital offense, as it was in Old Testament Israel. Lesbians and gays ought not be permitted to marry, let alone pastor churches. I am so glad that God's Word and every Bible-preaching Christian will be vindicated in eternity. The days of gay-rights are numbered. Job 20:4-5, “Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” If I were a king, I'd ban homosexuality! Robert, since you believe every tenet of Christianity is false and Jesus is not the savior, why do you even bother to comment? I was raised as an evangelical to respect science, every church I have ever belonged to (Conservative Baptist, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist, Anglican and now Foursquare) have always left the door for a God directed evolution (not Dawkin’s Blind watchmaker). Standing against homosexuality is not an evangelical position, it is the teaching of Genesis, Leviticus, Dueteronomy, Judges, 1st Kings, Ezekiel, Luke, Romans, 1st Corinthians, 1st Timothy, Jude, 2nd Peter and the very last chapter of Revelation. We don’t reject homosexual marriage because it is harmful, but because it is wrong. The Bible has always been neutral on slavery regarding it as a cultural matter. However it has always been adamantly against abusing people. But the Bible has never been neutral on homosexuality. Read how the early church fathers dealt with the subject.

Shepard Smith has demonstrated his pro-homosexual bias on air as a FOX News anchor.
The following Skype interview by America’s Survival founder Cliff Kincaid with AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera aired on AS’s Roku channel June 26, 2013. The two discuss the Supreme Court’s striking down of Section 3 of DOMA and the Court’s Prop 8 ruling. In discussing the media’s strong pro-”gay” bias, LaBarbera reports that a major Pew Research Center study of media coverage on homosexual “marriage” found that even FOX News’ reporting was biased in favor of “same-sex marriage.”

Kincaid then reveals that veteran FOX News anchor Shepard Smith has for the third year in a row been listed (along with Matt Drudge) in the homosexual magazine OUT‘s “Power 50? list of the 50 most powerful homosexuals in America. (Smith is not publicly homosexual, nor is Drudge — but neither was CNN’s Anderson Cooper when he was similarly listed for years by OUT — only to “come out” as a public homosexual last year.)

Greg Quinlan, an “ex-gay” activist who is slated to speak at the Family Research Council’s “Ex-Gay Pride Month” event later this July, told his personal story yesterday to Bradlee Dean and Jake McMillan of Sons of Liberty Radio.

Quinlan told the radio hosts that he once was a supporter of the Human Rights Campaign — “As I put it, what the Devil turned me to do I can now use for the Lord” — and it was during his time volunteering for HRC that he learned that Justices Anthony Kennedy and Elena Kagan are secretly gay. Kagan and Kennedy, Quinlan insisted, are “black-robed Nazis” who seek to “accommodate their own personal predilections, including their own sexuality.”

“Mr. Kennedy has a predilection on the down low,” Quinlan said, channeling Pat Robertson.

He added that President Obama is also “a down low president.”

Quinlan later asserted that gay rights advocates seek to bring about “the end of the church,” “destroy” the US Constitution—and rise to power just as they did in Nazi Germany.

After maintaining that the Nazis were led by “the butch, masculine types that still participate in homosexuality,” McMillan asked if Rachel Maddow, whom Dean unsuccessfully sued for $50 million, “would be considered a butch or a femme.” Quinlan answered that Maddow is both a butch (because she’s a Nazi) and a femme (because she wears lipstick): “She would definitely be a butch but she is a butch who has to be a femme, meaning she has to put on lipstick.” Quinlan and McMillan then warned that gays and lesbians are coming after children. “We speak to it from protecting the next generation. My gosh, the crimes are horrendous and we know what the end of it is, they are always going for the schools, they want little boys,” McMillan charged. Quinlan, agreed, saying that gays and lesbians want “little boys and little girls.”

The only purpose behind homosexual so-called "marriage" is the destruction of the family. It is all tied in with the Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive - whatever the totalitarian dictators are currently calling themselves - thieves of our liberties latest power grab.

The family is God's idea. It is His creation of the basic building block of an orderly society, for the rearing and protection of children. He created the family as the basic unit of government; the father as head of the family is supposed to be directly answerable to God. But man in his foolishness didn't want God telling him what to do; so he bands together with like minded fools in rejection of God and elects a government made up of the biggest fools in the pack and is answerable to theminstead. And in his mind he has made progress. Government (men) seeks its own power and wants no competition, so anything with the fingerprint of God on it must go. Therefore, Christianity must be outlawed and the family must be destroyed.

Today's fools think they are at the brink of a new Utopia. It looks like they are winning, but they can't win because they've already lost. They lost 2000 years ago when my Lord Jesus Christ died on a Roman cross and rose up again three days later. That doesn't mean that the ride won't get a little rough once in a while, so hang onto your hats!

I personally think that the United States has been assigned to the dustbin of history. The higher you rise the harder you fall and I believe that we are going to leave the biggest crater ever left by a fallen civilization.

Thomas Jefferson, call your office. Five lawyers on the Supreme Court have issues with your handiwork.

A revised version of the Declaration is the inevitable outcome of their opinions in the same-sex "marriage" cases hammered down on Wednesday in Windsor v. United States and Hollingsworth v. Perry.

For those who think those rulings are merely about an insignificant "social issue," think again. In the words of the Prophet Isaiah:

"Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter. Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil is plundered."

For starters, Mr. Jefferson, "appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions," even when it comes to marriage created by our "Creator" is so 1776.

You and your 55 cosignors of the Declaration didn't get this line right either:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

So five wise guys and gals, not to be confused with Solomon, tweaked it, finding their inspiration in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Their revised standard version reads:

"We hold these delusions to be pretty darn clear that all people are whatever the heck they self-identify as, regardless of biology or DNA, endowed by their Supreme Judges with life, except, of course, for the unborn; liberty, meaning "the right to define one's own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life," as long as it doesn't offend the moral judgment of the Supreme Judges whose moral judgments trump those of their Subjects."

Justice Anthony ("Swinging") Kennedy wrote the incoherent majority opinion in Windsor, throwing out Section 3 of DOMA. That section defines the term "marriage" as one man and one woman "for all purposes under federal law, including the provision of federal benefits."

Thus, gay-enhancing states get to decide who gets federal benefits. If you can't connect the states' liberty dots to federal benefits, you obviously attended the wrong law school.

A supermajority of a bipartisan Congress enacted DOMA, which was signed into law by former President Bill Clinton in 1996. According to Kennedy, they were blinded by a desire to "demean," "harm," "injure," and "degrade" "same-sex couples" who were "married" somewhere.

It was a banner day for Kennedy and his chutzpah cabal. Where did Congress get the idea that it can decide who gets federal benefits?

Swanson: Coming back from Australia, I’m stuck in fourteen hours of these visual presentations, sitcoms and stuff, on seventeen screens in front of me and I’ve never seen so many breasts in all of my life. These are the sorts of things that I preached yesterday because I said, you could just say, ‘well all of the unisex, homosexual, metrosexual stuff that’s out in the world is so bad but we’re not going to repent of anything, we’re not going to look any different, we’re not going to bear any fruits of repentance in the way that we dress and the way that we interact.’ Then I brought out the whole thing on feminism and how feminism has corrupted our women today. I brought out this quote from Forbes magazine, July 27, 2012:

Women in the 1980s adopted a male style of dress—ties, tailored skirt suits, shoulder pads—in order to gain a foothold in the male dominated world of business. And Carol Moseley Braun, the first African American woman elected to the U.S. Senate, wore a pantsuit on the Senate floor in 1993, ending the Senate’s ban on women wearing slacks there.

My question was: Do you resist feminist trends? Do you argue with it? Do you find ways to oppose it? Or do you just succumb to it and just kowtow to feminism? Dave, I’m afraid this stuff is all over the place in our nice little evangelical, reformed, conservative, fundamentalist churches.

(on why they lost the DOMA/Prop 8 cases at SCOTUS)

We are reluctant to sound unkind to the pro-family legal people who worked hard on these cases. But this is such a horrible outcome that something must be said.

Both of these cases suffered from an unaggressive and short-sighted approach that bordered on incompetence. The pro-family side did not present a credible case in either of these cases. They were deathly afraid that telling the truth about homosexuality might offend someone. By not effectively countering the absurd arguments and assumptions by the homosexual movement, they made it easy for the judges to rule as they did.

In the Federal District Court case in 2010 the homosexual lobby's lawyers bombarded the court with their well-honed talking points on "marriage", "family", the welfare of children of same-sex couples, and the like. They portrayed same-sex "marriages" as natural constructs that conservatives don't happen to like.

But as we reported at the time, the pro-family lawyers refused to consider using the medical and psychological dangers and moral issues surrounding homosexuality as counter-arguments. Instead they came up with soft arguments like "every child needs a father and a mother." In fact, the lawyers on our side accepted California's civil union law, which allows homosexual "parenting," as a legitimate compromise. This made their "mother and father" argument impossible to defend.

The handling of the case was so bad that the Federal District Court judge -- the "out" homosexual -- rebuked the pro-family lawyers for the lack of evidence they presented! It was almost as if the judge had no choice but to rule against us, based on what he had to work with.

When it got to the Supreme Court, it was no better. Our lawyers gave no credible reasons why same-sex couples should be treated differently, nor did they point to the immorality or destructiveness of that "lifestyle".

The DOMA case was even worse. Issues such as the morality of homosexuality, the perversion of the behavior itself, the absurd "equality" of homosexual relationships to heterosexual relationships, the bizarre effects on children having "two dads", and the overwhelming medical and psychological problems associated with homosexuality were the underlying reasons for the law's original passage. These are all legitimate issues. But the pro-family lawyers were afraid to use these arguments.

Thus, the Justices accepted the premise that homosexuals are a "class" of people who are born that way, and that there is nothing immoral or perverted (or destructive) about that behavior.

The cowardly nature of the pro-family movement has wrought terrible consequences and continues to be a huge problem. The DOMA case represents the tip of the iceberg. This unwillingness to address the underlying issue of homosexuality itself -- the behavior, its associated health risks, the profound moral issues, and the "born gay" myth -- gives that movement free rein to continue its march through our institutions.

As comfortable an argument as it is, we must stop deluding ourselves that this war is about the definition of marriage or children needing both a mother and a father. It's a bare-knuckles battle about truth versus lies that we cannot afford to continue to lose.

Repercussions of the Supreme Court’s Attack on Marriage

Yesterday the Supreme Court launched an intolerable assault on the sanctity of holy matrimony, squashing the Defense of Marriage Age and California’s Proposition 8. The repercussions will twist society beyond recognition. Among the most obvious is the effective banning of Christianity; inevitably, priests and ministers will face legal retribution if they refuse to reject their own faith by performing blasphemous homosexual “marriages.” There are also secular forms of blasphemy, like this:

The spouses of gay and lesbian service members will be among those to receive federal benefits, including burial at Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon announced Wednesday, hours after the Supreme Court overturned the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act.

Just hours after. It’s almost as if the moonbat apparatchiks Obama has set atop the Armed Forces were waiting for the Supremes’ rulings on the edge of their seats.

“We will move very swiftly, expeditiously, on implementing the law,” Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said during a Wednesday afternoon press briefing. —

“I have a responsibility to carry out the law of the land – the decision the Supreme Court gave today – from this place,” he said.

Presumably Hagel managed to say this with a straight face — despite the Obama Regime’s open refusal to enforce DOMA, which was the law of the land until yesterday. But things change quickly lately; until just recently, Obama himself opposed the obscene concept of homosexual marriage, recognizing that it was too outrageous for the public to support.

That leftists were able to push this grotesque social engineering campaign to such a disgusting extreme is due not only to the compliance of the same brainwashed herd that was duped into electing Obama, but to the cowardice and moral spinelessness of the conservatives who failed to rally resistance. Virtually no so-called conservatives will criticize anything to do with homosexuality, out of pants-wetting terror of being denounced as politically incorrect. All who have been cowed into pandering to depravity are complicit in the Supremes’ sick rulings — which like much that is imposed by the federal government these days appear to be a calculated gob of saliva in the face of all that is good, decent, holy, and worthy of respect.

Fortunately, spit wipes away. Liberals in their absurd hubris believe they can reverse human nature and thousands of years of history by simple decree. Depravity is now normal, according to the law. But not according to our hearts.

Though liberals revere homosexuality, the taboo against it is so strong that all three of the major religions that have come out of the Middle East to shape human history — Christianity, Judaism, and Islam — have called for it to be punishable by death. Other than Muslims, no one advocates the death penalty now; but normalization, so that homosexual liaisons are decreed by law to be of equal validity to legitimate marriages, as the deranged Justice Kennedy demands? No way.

The social engineers have run a masterful propaganda campaign, but this time they have overstepped. Though human spirits often give way, they are not easily broken. Like saplings, the farther you bend them, the harder they snap back. Sooner or later, people will rediscover their sense of decency — and their sense of outrage.

The lesson to be learned from the legality of interracial marriage is that just as the law must be blind with respect to the race of persons desiring to marry, so it must also be blind to the sexual orientation of persons desiring to marry. Just as persons desiring to marry cannot be discriminated against on the basis of their race, neither can they be discriminated against on the basis of their sexual orientation. When two persons ask the state for the right to marry, the state must ask no questions about their race or sexual orientation. Just as laws which would discriminate against persons’ marrying on the basis of their race are unconstitutional, so laws which would discriminate against persons’ marrying on the basis of their sexual orientation are unconstitutional.

That’s why the term “gay marriage” (which, I noticed, you were careful to avoid) is misconceived. Laws permitting gay marriage would be clearly unconstitutional, since they would not be blind to the sexual orientation of the persons involved. Such laws would sanction marriage for same-sex couples only if they were homosexuals, thereby taking cognizance of their sexual orientation and discriminating against heterosexuals who wanted to enter into marriage with someone of the same sex. To repeat: just as the law must be blind to the race of persons entering into marriage, so it must be blind to their sexual orientation. Laws sanctioning gay marriage would thus be unconstitutional (not to speak of unenforceable!). [Emphasis added]

So the laws governing marriage must have no reference to the sexual orientation of the persons involved. But that is precisely the situation of the status quo! Under the laws of the status quo no one is denied the right to enter into marriage because of his/her sexual orientation. Two heterosexuals, two homosexuals, or a heterosexual and a homosexual are free to marry, no questions asked, just as persons of different races are free to marry, no questions asked. What they are not free to do under federal law, whatever their race or orientation, is to enter into same sex marriage, simply because there is no such thing. Marriage is by its essence a relation between a man and a woman. But the sexual orientation of the persons involved, like their race, is a matter of complete indifference to the law.

So the legality of interracial marriage actually goes to support the current laws, which are indifferent to both the race and the sexual orientation of the persons involved. Those who want to re-define marriage in such a way that it need no longer be between a man and a woman need to come up with some other argument in support of that redefinition than the appeal to interracial marriage.

Homosexuals have tried proving they are born that way by citing a study of adults that showed homosexuals' brains were abnormal. That didn't prove they were born that way as opposed to being brain damaged during adolescence, but it does explain why they would commit suicide at a high rate. They are mentally defective. Stop blaming other people for your problems. That's known as having a victim mentality. The whole world is experiencing an epidemic of mental illness. It's caused by neurotoxins in pollution. Fluoride is a potent neurotoxin which usurps iodine from the thyroid and disrupts hormone production, forcing the thyroid to substitute fluoride for the iodine, resulting in hormones that don't work the same.
This doesn't cause homosexuality, but it does cause brain damage which makes a person more susceptible to being converted by a homosexual pedophile. And because of their brain damage, they will think they always felt that way.

I just don't think that the idea of homosexuals being able to adopt and raise children should be seen as any sort of progress in human rights or equality. That's preposterous, and the notion that such a thing is labeled as discriminatory if protested against illustrates a society with a distorted view(sorry for being blunt). It is one thing for homosexuals to marry, but they shouldn't be able to adopt in my opinion. Same sex preference is normal in the sense that it is a real phenomenon, but in itself it is not normal to be attracted to the same sex. It is an abnormal preference. This has nothing to do with a hatred or homophobia that one would accuse me of having, because I honestly have no beef against men who like men or women who like women, but since we are bringing a child into the equation it has everything to do with him/her. When I see a man kissing another man I honestly cringe and cant stand what I see, and that is a NATURAL reaction within me. I cant help it, but some would accuse me of being bigoted for a natural reaction I have no control over. This reaction is detatched from any sort of conditioning. I don't think we should start raising our children to believe that its normal for same sex couples to raise kids. There is no conditioning present here, because my natural reaction to a homosexual couple being intimate together is one of uneasiness. I use to feel that if homosexuals wanted to get married it was no big deal, and that is one thing, but to claim that objection for them raising children derives from conditioning is a faulty assumption.

Why do you think the response should be particularly different if the couple sitting across from you are the same sex and share with you about their sexual relations and love for one another and how can the church condemn them?

I absolutely agree that we must share the gospel and the truth of God in love, but there's a line that can't be crossed in saying that and watching a sinner kill, steal, fornicate or practice any other immoral sexual practice before your very eyes. And, as a born again believer, I would never support, encourage or approve of the idea that anyone is born that way. Committing sin before God is a choice. It is always a choice.

The High Price of Losing the Culture War

Imagine living in a culture that has become so degenerate and depraved that your love for it is shoved aside by disgust. In such a culture, nonconformists who resist brainwashing will be marginalized. Cut off, alienated, thinking themselves alone, they will put up minimal resistance to those driving what Obama calls the “fundamental transformation” of America. That is why the liberal ruling class is aggressively using its control of the government, military, media, and schools to impose the normalization of homosexuality.

The poison has reached even small towns:

Dylan Meehan and Brad Taylor, two seniors at Carmel High School in Putnam County, New York, have become the first gay people to be voted “cutest couple” in the school’s yearbook.

The perverted pair are reportedly “happy to be role models.”

No one in their right mind could think encouraging high school students to engage in deviant sex acts that spread lethal diseases like AIDS is constructive. But no one in their right mind has a voice in the journalism or education establishments.

The military provides the masterminds more direct control. Consequently, the Marines are getting transformed from The Few, The Proud into this (barf alert).

The revulsion this depravity evokes in normal people is not taught but instinctual, like the reaction to the smell of sewage and rotting corpses. It serves the same purpose: to protect us from that which threatens our health.

But this natural revulsion can be overcome, if only temporarily. All the drovers who are driving the herd off a cliff need to do is convince people that they are bad for feeling it. Whether the mobilization of pastors and pews to save the nation goes against the grain of the pagan, liberal media elite is not relevant. America’s survival is at stake, and this is not tall talk or exaggeration.

Living in Washington State, I share Ms. Markel's concern. Every society that has endorsed Homosexuality met its doom, usually within 50 years. This does not deprive anyone of a job by the way, except those who insist on displaying these lifestyles to everyone and forcing their acceptance. Such behavior shows a disrespect for two things: everyone else around them and for hardcore facts. I participate in a group in Jerusalem for people with homosexual attractions who want to reduce or change their homosexual behavior and/or attractions. There are currently about a dozen of us. I think I am therefore in a good position to evaluate "change" efforts. If people knew that these efforts involve working on assertiveness, self-esteem, and other aspects of character development, they wouldn't be so quick to dismiss reparative therapy and similar approaches. Harmful? Far from it. This is about personal development. I don't know anyone in our group who feels that they haven't benefitted from the experience.

Regarding the film, I recently attended a public screening of it at a Masorti synagogue, which was followed by an audience discussion. Some people saw this issue as being all about "tolerating people who are different", which is certainly a message promoted in the film, but I didn't see it that way. Should Orthodox Judaism allow openly-adulterous rabbis to lead congregations, or give public honors to intermarried congregants? So why should the community welcome openly-gay people, who are living with same-gender partners, as rabbis or synagogue presidents? Doing so would convey a lenient attitude toward something clearly contrary to Jewish tradition.

This is what I feel should be done about the homosexuality problem:

1. Repeal all gay "marriage" laws. They make no sense from a logical, legal, semantic, or philosophical standpoint. You can't have male hens and you can't have gay marriage.

2. Eliminate "civil unions" - see above.

3. Draft a Constitutional amendment preventing either of the above 2 points from ever being issues anywhere in the country.

4. Nullify all existing gay "marriages" and "civil unions". To allow them to continue to exist undermines the entire agenda.

5. Work to eliminate the arbitrary stigma toward reparative therapy.

6. Make said therapy mandatory for first-time offenses of displaying homosexual behavior in public.

7. Train all school counselors - from pre-K to college - in said therapy.

8. Make any public displays of homosexual misconduct a misdemeanor after the first.

I think this would really eliminate a lot of the problems homosexuals are causing. If you have any other ideas, let me know.

With yesterday’s historic “coming out” by an NBA player, one cultural commentator is very concerned how that announcement may influence children who view professional athletes as role models.

NBA veteran Jason Collins disclosed in a first-person account posted Monday at SI.com that he is “gay.” Collins, 34, is a 12-year veteran of the National Basketball Association and has played for six teams during that time.

“I’m black. And I’m gay. I didn’t set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport. But since I am, I’m happy to start the conversation,” he states in the article.

White House spokesman Jay Carney on Monday called Collins’ decision to come out “courageous,” and added the White House supports him. The seven-foot, 255-pound center becomes the first active male player in one of the four major professional sports to publicly reveal his homosexuality.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality tells American Family News that Collins is actually struggling with homosexual sin.

“He was born with genes that made him tall. He wasn't born with a gay gene,” says LaBarbera. “I feel sorry for this man. He's being celebrated, which will encourage him to stay in his sin, and he needs to leave it like so many men and women have before him.”

The family advocate adds there is "a huge push to have homosexuality embraced in professional sports." Teams in the four major professional sports have special events to draw positive attention to the lifestyle – and LaBarbera contends that is not healthy for children.

“These professional athletes are models for children, whether we like it or not,” he says. “And so this will lead the children embracing homosexuality and saying, Hey, it's good enough for Jason Collins it's good enough for me.”

It is LaBarbera's hope that Collins will encounter Christians who will help him leave the lifestyle by embracing Jesus Christ.
