@KateofLate8 (who’s bio, by the way proclaims her to be a feminist and contains the “IStandWithJKR”-hashtag) further goes on :

No, I dont think so. I think the sexes are different and cultural aspects tell us to value one over the other.
I mean when they do disaster relief in certain areas, they've started giving the supplies to women because they're less likely to hoard and steal....
Is this cultural or biological? I think it's biological in part.
Btw, I just discussed this with my wife and she agrees with you. 😉

I don't think we can know for sure but if I have to pick one to believe, it'll be the one that doesn't prop up the patriarchy!
( @KateofLate8 )
I'd rather focus on what's true.
( @kay_ay_tea_why )
Umm okay, me too except I said in this case we will never know for sure. In order to find out we'd have to do unethical experiments on children.
In the absence of that data, I'll base my actions on what causes the least harm.
( @KateofLate8 )
Well, we do know that men in general have higher testosterone levels, which increases their aggressiveness and risk taking behavior. This leads them to gravitate to jobs that involve risk. Because society values the masculine more, those jobs pay more.
On the other hand women have higher levels and a different response to oxytocin, which causes feelings of bonding and kinship in women, fostering nurturing and more human connection. Sometimes that's true in men, but it also helps males to identify competitors.
Just because you designate something as unknowable doesnt mean it actually is if you have a science education and an open mond.
So kindly cut the snide remarks.

What you have is what we call an hypothesis and unless you're an expert it's not worth the energy used to tweet it.
But fine, I'm happy to go with my we don't know what we don't know approach and you go with your I don't need evidence approach.
What's your field because if it's relevant, it's sounding like you've solved the nature vs nurture debate. You're going to be famous!!
( @KateofLate8 )
I'm done with you. You came I to a perfectly civil thread to pick a fight because you didnt think I was feminist enough. You dont have the grace to accept that you dont know enough about biology to have an informed opinion on this topic.
Go create issues elsewhere.
( @kay_ay_tea_why )
I was just curious how someone claiming to be feminist would also say women should perform certain roles.
Don't get mad at me for pointing out the stupidity of claiming to solve the nature vs nurture debate. I said we'd never know and you said it was unequivocally nature.
