Just looked up Xanth on TvTropes and Wikipedia. I’m not entirely sure I get the premise from those descriptions, but it seems interesting enough.
Regardless, while we’re at it, I myself am more of a fan for the various Monster Girls from the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. If you care to know, it’s a series of hentai reference-books about a “standard” fantasy setting initially full of humans and various monsters that prey upon them in the wilds. That is, until a rather powerful & progressive Succubus ascends to become the newest Monster Lord, and in the process of solving the eternal conflict between the two groups turns all monsters into attractive humanoids who wish to copulate with humans instead of kill them. Not that some of the local, more conservative deities and their churches fully appreciate this change, but she doesn’t care.
Despite the general smut, it’s surprisingly wholesome if you can believe it. Monsters now really abhor violence and only wish to coexist with humans, even if some of their weirder moralities (and old wounds for some human nations) make it difficult sometimes. And despite their succubi-libidos are also strictly monogamous and fiercly loyal to their mates-for-life.
