1) what assumptions? They went through the text and looked at things that contradicted each other. Things such as “is Abraham the son of Almelech, or his father?” That’s not based on any assumptions, that’s a straight up question about the facts.
2) ummmm… they’re basing what they say on what is written in the books. You can pretend those things aren’t there, but pretending is all you’re doing.
3) what other possibilities? What opposing evidence? They looked at all the books of the Bible and wrote down all the things that contradict each other. I don’t see any other “possibilities” or “evidence” unless there’s another book of the Bible that only you know about. And since that’s definitely not the case, I’ll just go with you being full of shit.
4) It appears they engaged many Bible scholars. I believe what you mean is that they didn’t consult people who agree with you.
5) what do you think they did, just copy the verses without looking at them? Or are you admitting there’s stuff in the Bible that doesn’t make sense, but you don’t think they should’ve included the nonsensical shit? Because that’s mainly what the site is about, the fact that the Bible has a lot of nonsensical bullshit in it.
6) there’s lots of evidence they did research to back up their claims. I think you’re the one who hasn’t done any research.
Then you make all these claims, but do exactly what you’re accusing the Bible contradictions site of doing, and don’t provide anything to back them up. In fact, you’ve done all the things you accuse the other authors of doing - you make assumptions based on preconceived notions, you accept those preconceptions with no logic or reason, you don’t consider any other possibilities, you don’t appear to have engaged any experts, and you don’t appear to have read the book you’re claiming they’re wrong about. Finally, like I said before, you don’t appear to have anything to back up what you’ve said.
