So I see you have no idea what PTSD actually is, no idea what it’s like to have it, and so you minimize it and mock it (and veterans, who people like you are supposed to pretend to respect) to make things fit the narrative you want to be true.
When we hear you say “I will not comply with vaccine mandates” we don’t immediately hallucinate that you’re an enemy combatant. We usually ask why and what follows is *almost never a well-reasoned argument. Usually what follows is something based on a fake documentary and/or stuff being passed around by right-wingers and others with political agendas on Facebook/gab/Derp Social/etc.
We’re not stupid and crazy like you want us to be. You, however, are definitely the assholes we see you as.
*The only well-reasoned argument I heard was in the beginning from people of color - they cited things like the Tuskegee experiments, and after things like that have been done by a government to your people, you have a right to be wary of things that government is promoting. But when they still paid attention to the science instead of ridiculous Facebook memes, they realized it was ok to try it out and did so, and keep doing so.
