I’m thinking of a record of some Angles murdering a group of Danes because of their unfairly swiping “their” women through…actual hygiene. (Did the Angles in question think that hygiene made you not grow as tough as you could?) That kind of mien probably made even more Angle women look for alternatives to Angle men, probably Welsh and Scottish men. And Celts generally weren’t deemed White, as that was held to be just English and German in most cases.
