That’s not the problem with Antimatter, actually. It does exist in outer Space afaik, and is essentially its regular conterpart with the charges of the electrons and protons reversed (thus creating positrons and antiprotons). No, the problem is that you cannot just “mine” it like a mineral. Antimatter simply CANNOT physically coexist alongside regular matter. If even a dustmite of Antimatter were to touch even a molecule of earth, water, or even the air around us, both would instantly destroy each other in a massive explosion of energy.

If one wants Antimatter, it either has to be harvested from isolated pockets in the vacuum of space, or created in laboratories and particle accelerators where it has to be very carefully stored using magnetic seals to keep it from touching the edges of the vacuum-sealed containers. At least, all theoretically, of course.

Honestly, I can appreciate all types of villain characters being used. From “irredeemably wants to watch the world burn evil” like the Joker tends to be, to “selfish despotism justifies the means evil” like Darth Sidious, to “well-intentioned extremist” like the Emperor of Man, to “Misguided good guy” like most of the Attack on Titan bad guys.

As long as one trope isn’t overused, and enough variety is used, I can like the Devil fitting into any of those archetypes.

And the whole “god needs a creator dilemma” simply has no logical answer IMO. If everything that exists needs to come from something else that exists, then god must have come from something else as well. And if god did not come from something else, then god by definition does not “exist”. And if god is a nonexistent being, then the earth came from something that does not exist.
