Frankly, that I could still kinda get; wanting an autocrat who can make the changes (or lack of changes) that are needed happen without needless bureaucracy. Democracy is still a flawed system, even if it’s the best we’ve got. And I’ll be lying if I said I wasn’t dissatisfied with some democratic choices in my own country.
What I do NOT get, however, is why they INSIST that said “God-King” has to be Donald effin’ Trump. Arguably one of the, if not the, LEAST qualified person to be given absolute power. Trump is an easily manipulated, vengeful, power-hungry, greedy, capricious, narcissistic MORON. None of those are desirable traits in any leader figure.
The only people I’d trust even remotely with absolute power are the ones that do not want it. As Kahless the Unforgettable himself said: “Great men do not seek power, they have power thrust upon them." And when it’s the Klingons’ own version of a God-Emperor who says that…
