I don’t think he convinced them of that; I think most of them still follow the “commonsense belief” that Republicans are always better for the economy. US MSM always says it, the Republicans trumpet it to high heaven, and people ignore the evidence that shows it’s a bunch of bullshit and has been since the Great Depression, but to this day, too many people believe it.
“The economy sucks, so we need a Republican to fix it because Republicans are better for the economy!”
The first signs of regret among those who fell for this scam again are already starting to appear, as Trump’s team have gone from “Project 2025? We have nothing to do with that!” to “Yeah, Project 2025 is our plan and we’ll be following it!” in a week. And the searches for it have spiked on Google, as people who chose to ignore warnings as “Dem fearmongering” are searching for the plan and realizing… It’s BAD. It’s really, really BAD.
The real lesson that this election should teach people? In America, propaganda works.
