Well, since the world/universe is not much older than 6,000 years,we could say that it may have exploded anywhere within that period.
Also, it depends. How do evolutionists determine when a star explodes? Since they are obviously not at the site of the star, so how can they know exactly how far away it is simply by looking in a telescope? Or do they just make a wild guess? I would assume that they would extrapolate based upon how far away it is, then divide it by the speed of light, but there are a couple of assumptions that have to be made -
1) How do they know how far away the star is?
2) Is the speed of light constant?
3) Evolutionists' dating methods of ANYTHING are based upon their preconceived, faulty geologic column. Any data that doesn't fit this preconceived system is thrown out - even if the data is factual.

If you can tell me what methods evolutionists use to date the explosion of a star, then I can tell you how a creationist would determine it. It all comes down to interpretation of the data.

Your logic is flawed. Creation is a time issue. God was acting before time when He created the universe.

God exists outside of time. Since we live in a universe of cause and effect, we naturally assume that this is the only way in which any kind of existence can function. However, the premise is false. Without the dimension of time, there is no cause and effect, and all things that could exist in such a realm would have no need of being caused, but would have always existed. Therefore, God has no need of being created, but, in fact, created the time dimension of our universe specifically for a reason - so that cause and effect would exist for us. However, since God created time, cause and effect would never apply to His existence.

Scientist have proven that as long as a reptile is living, it continues to grow. So, if we take an alligator and say it lives 100 years and grows 20 feet. What would happen if it were to live

Now, first we must understand that this forensic science has met with great success and is proven itself as reputible.
They were asked to take an average man and by comparing the physical changes in the lifetime such as bone structure and come up with a model of what man would look like if he lived to be close to 1000 years. Remarkably, around the 400 year mark, the image looked remarkably like that of Cro Magnum man and aroung the 800 year mark, man the image looked remarkably like Neanderthal man. Now, is this just coinsidence or is God's word true. I believe the the world is just as the bible says, just around 6000 years old.

my science teacher is obsessed with the big bang (if it even happend) and he yaps about how chistianity or budism are beliefs, and have no evidence to support them. if a theory is a belief that has proof to back it up, i asked him what proof there was to support the big bang theory. he talked about the red shifts, and how the universe is expanding. what i dont understand is how can scientists say that the universe expands and shrinks and when it shrinks realy small then explodes in a big bang. (I am afraid you don't get it. Evolution is a gradual process of incremental changes. None of the things you describe came into existence as complete systems. They developed slowly. Changes in one thing gave an opportunity for changes in another. If one change was advantageous then, over time, that small advantage becomes the norm. Then another small change happens, and that change becomes the norm if it is advantageous. And so it goes. This is why it is caused evolution - things evolve. They do not arrive fully formed.

My brother came home talking about dinosaurs and how they evolved here over 63 million years ago. We're Christian, but whether we're Christian or not, the school should not be instilling THEIR beliefs into impressionable kids like my brother. Their family/parents are the ones to instill - they can take it or leave it... but the school should not be! What should I tell me brother? Actually, the latest news from those blaspheming astro-physicists is that there IS gravity in outer space, but not strong enough to pull in the EXPANDING universe. Whatever it is that initially pulled the Big Bang gases out to begin with is so powerful, it continues to slowly pull and rip apart the very fabric of the universe until every molecule and subatomic particle returns to nothingness (ie some call that nothingness God). Ive found ALOT of atheists and agnostict people on here to be the biggest,most ignornant hypocrites. First off, religion involves very little thinking and a whole lot of faith. In my opinion, atheists and non-believers are scared,scared of whats to come. The "circular reasoning" argument is absurd. That's like saying you can't prove that the President lives in the White House by looking into the White House. It is looking into the White House that will provide the necessary proof. The fulfilled prophecies, the amazing consistency, and the many scientific statements of the Bible prove it to be the Word of God. They provide evidence that it is supernatural in origin.
