But we have to keep in mind that birth pangs get stronger the closer we are to the anticipated event. This breather is the only chance we'll get to brace ourselves for the next contraction, which could be the one that takes us home. These are our last days on this planet as we know it my friend. Very soon, we will be immortal beings in the direct presence of God Himself. We are about to see, hear, touch, and smell things previously only available to Christians who passed through the corridors of death and into eternal glory. There is a deep longing inside of us all for this rollercoaster ride to end. It is hard. One day it seems like you can almost hear the trumpet, and the very next day you wonder if the Rapture isn't 20 years off. What makes it harder is that we know exactly what we are waiting for.

We know that we are citizens of Heaven itself through Christ Jesus. We belong to a kingdom whose beauty 1,000 of the most talented soul stirring poets who ever lived could never describe given eternity. We will see things there that will could bring a mortal man to tears with its beauty. We will see the crystalline perfection of God's throne, as old as eternity. We will hear songs that make you want to jump in the air with sheer joy. We will see the angels flying over us, the swoosh of their wings rustling our robes. Our mansions are there, and best of all, our Savior is there. He is coming for Us, and as always, He will do it at the exact right time according to God the Fathers's plan. He is coming for you, and you will never forget the moment He first held you, the trumpet heard across the world by all believers. Don't give up, we are so close. You are almost there. He's coming at the exact right moment.

Nancy Pelosi House Speaker 3rd in line for POTUS (shudder at the thought) – Roman Catholic

John McCain – Christian (raised Episcopalian and now Baptist)

Sarah Palin - Christian (Protestant Non-Denominational Assemblies of God)

Barack Obama professes Christianity but can’t define it – United Church of Christ

Joe Biden - Roman Catholic

RAPTURE –

Who’s left?

IMHO the following possibilities exist:

Pre-election Rapture - Nancy Pelosi is left to “lead” our country.

Post-election Rapture – pre-inaugural, same scenario as above.

Post-inaugural Rapture - Nancy Pelosi (if McCain/Palin win).

Post-inaugural Rapture – Obama (if Obama/Biden win).

IMHO any of the above scenarios render the U.S. a ship without a qualified Captain at the helm so to speak.
A weakened U.S. (through millions missing in the Rapture and weak, ineffective “leadership” remaining at the top) could easily fall prey to or be absorbed by another country or countries ———.
