Every star flickers somewhat or “twinkles” even, due to the atmosphere. In fact, if you’re seeing what looks like a bright “star” in the night sky and it’s totally NOT flickering, you’re probably seeing a planet, like Venus or Jupiter, or even a satellite like the ISS, if that sucker’s moving, that is.

Oh, and Polaris isn’t exactly on the north celestial pole, it’s like 1 degree off (still close enough to be useful for navigational purposes!). In thousands of years or something like that, there will be a new pole star, and so on.

OK, if I had just read those things and nothing else, it wouldn’t sound like too bad of a video…I’m kinda not sure if you really need to spend what’s apparently a little over 17 minutes on all that, but hey, I’ve seen the local news talk about a thunderstorm and possible tornado for about that time if not more, so fine I guess. Oh, and I will also say, good on them for talking about generator safety. Tho again, I don’t really know why that segment had to go for almost 6 and half minutes, if I’m interpreting the time stamps right. Basically, don’t run a generator indoors, and don’t try to use it to power your house with a uh… “male to male” power cord. (apparently that’s a thing that people are trying to do, I have seen a few youtube videos telling people NOT to do it)

Of course then, it just goes all off the rails after that, and they’re talking about “reptilian zombies”….

Ugh…I was going to say something about how even someone like Ken Ham shouldn’t expect or hope for science textbooks to never change to reflect advancements in knowledge….but he probably does think just that, doesn’t he? I mean, I can’t think of examples off the top of my head right now, but I’m guessing there’s probably more than a few things that I was taught in school science classes that we know to be wrong today. Yeah, I had to read that a few times myself to completely get it. I guess the lesbian couple in question, Alexis and her unnamed partner, were using the restroom and saw a trans woman was in there and told her to use the men’s room. Somehow Alexis just KNEW that the person she encountered was a trans woman, apparently.

Then there’s this Danesh Noshirvan person, who then “cyberstalked and bullied them”….OK, if that is true, I certainly don’t condone that. I get the feeling that this story might look very different told from the trans woman’s point of view, but that doesn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere.

I dunno, tho, any time I’ve had to use the public restroom at a sporting event or concert or whatever, I couldn’t care less about who else was in there, I just wanna do my business and get the fuck out of there quickly as possible.
