I don't know if the birds or any other creature knows about God per say, but I do know birds instinctively return to build their nests each year in anticipation of the new lives within them. Who is there to say they have no knowledge of their own dependency on their Creator?? My dog has an adoration for us we humans would do well to have for God. Where did he learn this kind of dedication~~maybe he too senses he belongs to the Creator. Animals are always proving how really intelligent they are. Dogs are trained for a whole variety of services and other animals are too. And the lovely music the birds provide certainly may be a tribute to the Creator. Who knows?

I have sat and watched cats and dogs when we were in fellowship and it is very obvious they were watching 'something'. It was also obvious that the Lord's Presence was there, so I do not doubt there were angels flying about. There were no bugs or anything of the sort for them to have intense curiosity over, and where they were staring was obviously a blank wall. I saw nothing, but I did 'perceive' the Lord's Presence. There have been quite a few scientists, while trying intensely to prove the Scriptures wrong, that have found themselves right at Jesus' feet These ones have used Quantum Mathmatics[a Russian professor in the field], physics, biology, archaeology, and other disciplines of science trying to prove God does not exist, and instead have discovered that there is only ONE compilation of books that that they can not disprove And this compilation is known as our Bible, LOL These ones are now Believers working in the scientific fields providing scientific proof to skeptics that are analytical and need some kind of measure[of one form or another] giving them proof of their error.

I had a friend many years ago that was a brilliant man; not the most socially gifted, but brilliant nonetheless. He very much enjoyed reading. I remember there was hardly a time that he didn't have a book in his hand. Unfortunately one day he was riding his bike to work, and guess what he was doing while he was riding his bike. He was reading a book. Because his focus was not on what mattered most, he didn't notice when his bike veered out into traffic and he was struck and killed instantly by an 18 wheeler.

I bring this up simply to point out that these learned individuals have buried their heads in their atomic level books while all the while the sands in the hourglass of their lives are methodically running out. How irrelevant will a technology breakthrough be for them if the cost is their soul?

I think we may be very close. My heart cries harder and harder for Christ to have me and for Justice to serve. I have seen firsthand some supernatural events that make me think we are very close right at the door even.

1.In December 06 I say a huge flash of blue light in the sky in the dark of morning on the way to work and thought it was a nuclear attack but I was told Blue is the color of GOD and may have been a sign of Heaven trying to awaken my spirit at the time.
2.I have been attacked frequantly by demons from my past life of self and it carries into my life with Christ but less frequent and less powerful. alot of spiritual activity going on these days. There have been more sightings in 2007 for UFOs than ever recorded which I believe UFOs are the Devils work manifest.
3. I have seen scripture on my wall at home(isaiah 10) and GOD has revealed which part of Isaiah and gave me 2 other scriptures on my baptism night Isaiah 10:16-24 Psalm 32, Psalm 49:15

Obama is no better than Hitler - he wants to create a perfect race and eliminate the poor and middle class and make us suffer so much. Hitler wanted blond hair/blue eyes and Obama wants us to die as we wait for medical care because of the long lines and die from starvation when he increases our taxes and take more of our paycheck for national healthcare.

I told my husband tonight that God sent Jesus when the Jews were suffering under Ceasar and Obama will be our Ceasar and we will have to pay much to him and suffer. God will see the ones he so loves suffering (the Bride of Christ) and perhaps send Jesus again like he did when Ceasar made the Jews suffer but this time He will come to take his Bride away (the Church) - away from this evilness which is about to happen. I say if Obama is in within 3-6 months we will see the change. When the military leaves the terrorists will take over quickly and Iran will take over Iraq also and then the terrorists will attack the U.S. more easily especially when Homeland Security cannot filter the phone calls. As soon as Bush was in there was 9/11 and I have a feeling as soon as Obama takes his oath the terrorists will attack. The Lord sees all and I feel he will save his loved ones from the "wrath that is to come".

There are a number of lines of legal forensic evidence that could be presented.

One would be that life is too complex to have come into existence by time, chance and random processes. There is no way you could add information to the genetic machinery for increased complexity unless there was an intelligence designing and directing the adding of information.

That leads to, well who is that intelligence then? From there you can point out that the Bible claims to be a message from that intelligence. Ok, then how do I know that the Bible is really from the creator? There are a number of lines of evidence one can consider.

Bible prophecy and its accurate fulfillment is strong evidence that the Bible is from that Creator. There are hundreds of prophecies already accurately fulfilled and many more ready to be fulfilled in the end times.

The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ has strong legal evidence that it truly happened. The gospels are 4 eyewitness accounts of these events admissable in any court of law. There were over 500 eyewitnesses to the resurrection of Jesus Christ available also. Secular historians recorded the fact of the existence of a man named Jesus Christ. The dead sea scrolls attest to the accuracy of the manuscipts we now have. The writings of the early church fathers preserve virtually every verse in the Bible which affirms our current Bible.

Pangea's separation happened very suddenly, just like earthquakes today, in the time of Peleg. The evoloutionists do not wish to admit this and desire to draw the event out over a long period of time, when it actually probably only took several days, because it was a cataclismic event, not a gradual one. The proponents of an old Earth do not take into consideration that there is proof that the earth was formed instantly, for this would blow what they have been trying to convince mankind of for the past 200yrs. or so, ie, that the Earth is billions of years old, when it in fact is not.
When Father made the Earth, Moon,,ect..He created them 'mature' ready to bear seed, just as He did mankind, plants, animals, etc..
Just how old is a mature planet? Does anyone know? After one week, even though the animals were capable of bearing young, they were still only a week old, yet fully mature.
The same goes for the planet, moon, sun, stars, etc..
The separation of Pangea is how the American Indians got on N and S America,,they did not walk or travel, merely hung on to the nearest tree untill everything stopped moving. They then promptly went right back to the last project on their minds,,the Tower of Babel, and started rebuilding their own little copies and doing what they knew God would not approve, ie, human sacrifice, etc..thus were cursed and wiped out in one way or another. The Northern tribes did not partake of this and were able to maintain until the Word came to them by missionaries.
There are many that believe Jesus will repair the Earth, returning it to the condition that existed BEFORE the fountains of waters broke up;ie, Pangea with absolutely perfect conditions for all life on the planet. Whenever someone says "Jesus Christ" I always respond, quickly, with something like "I know Him...did you need to talk to Him? I can show you how..." Or I will say, "Praise God! Another Christian is on tonight! Isn't Jesus Christ the best? I mean, how cool is it that He died for our sins and rose again?" It usually stops people for saying it again because they feel guilty.

My daughter, who is 6, came home from school yesterday with a quarterly newsletter. As I was reading it I took notice that they are having a school wide day on April 24 called Rainbow Day. This shook me up a bit because I have noticed how homosexuality is being "supported" by schools across the country.
I did a search to find out if possibly this was a gay pride day or month or maybe I was just being paranoid. Well, I did find that when I put in the search terms April 24 gay pride, several websites came up showing that the nearest city to us (15 min away) has that whole week dedicated to black gay pride. This concerned me knowing that the town I am from likes to follow what this city does.
So, I take my daughter to school today and I asked her teacher what this Rainbow Day was and what my daughter was to be doing that day. Strangely the teacher acted like she didn't have a clue what this day was. Then she goes into the office (taking about 10 min) and comes out with 2 other teachers and all three are stammering on what to tell me.
Then they end up coming up with this grand answer of "Well, all the students are to wear brightly colored clothing that day and the closer to being a rainbow the better. But, even better, if the students could wear actual rainbows proudly that would work also.
Ok, am I paranoid or am I smelling a cover up to this being a gay pride or gay supportive day? I live in a small town that everything is hush hush and anything out of the ordinary is either covered up or brushed off.
I'm not trying to be a crazy parent here but I don't want my daughter participating in something that maybe supporting homosexuality. And believe me, I have nothing against rainbows. I think they are one of the most beautiful things that G-d has created.

Nickelodeon use to make ME feel uncomfortable when I was a teen and my younger siblings would watch. Never really put my finger on it, but changed the channel whenever I saw it on.

My own kids don't even know Nick exists LOL. For that matter, Cartoon Network makes the same flags go up in my gut. I listen.

If we have cartoons on, either it's from the huge dvd collection or Boomerang. Boomerang shows old Pink Panther, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Grape Ape, Hong Kong Phooey, etcetera. Sure they are not politically correct for today, but then neither is my family. I'd rather have that naughty pink panther smoking his cigarette on the screen than SpongeBob walking into the romantic sunset holding hands with another male character.........which is exactly what got SpongeBob banned from our house 6 years ago.

I have found out that women, and esp. teenage girls, are very insecure about their bodies—even when flaunting their bodies. Many of them flaunt themselves because they are seeking that approval, even if it is only a sexual approval. Every time they can get a man’s attention with their body then they feel that much better of their own body. I think it is horrible that women do this to themselves and make us men their unwilling victim. But you can use this to your advantage. Pay little attention to her, or better yet, make any sort of attention you give this granddaughter negative, scowl at her, or look at her like she is a piece of filth—if you can undermine her feelings of security in her body—there would be a good chance she will cover up next time she sees you or better yet, just avoid you at all cost.

I absolutely don't think the memories of those left behind will be wiped. A great delusion wouldn't be needed if that was the case.

An earthquake at the time of the rapture might serve as a delusion as the loss of millions could (falsely of course) be attributed to a natural event.

However, whatever the delusion, those left behind will experience, terror, horror, shock, despair, sorrow, anger, hatred and more, and that will just be the beginning. I mean, imagine if the rapture occurs during rush hour in North America?
• Cars, transports and buses, without drivers
• Airplanes, helicopters without pilots
• Trains, including subway, without engineers
• People literally vanishing from: work, from malls, from hospitals, out of nursing homes
• Entire daycares suddenly empty, school children disappearing in class or on their way to school
• Military personnel, policemen, firemen, medics, doctors, nurses – all gone – poof

No, there will be no memory loss. It will be pandemonium, and it will in all likelihood be the day the world stood still.

We play only Christian music - whether it is praise music or the beloved hymns we have known all our life and even our six year-old daughter is loving it!

God isn't ALLOWED to call men to preach anymore. Our Pastor told us that he sees these young men on fire for God, with such a desire to be used and to preach. But FIRST, "you must attend seminary. so they can indoctrinate you and set you straight." Then once they finish 6 years of schooling, the fire has gone out and only a tiny spark remains.

The main "evil" character is the kangaroo - a narrow-minded, controlling homeschooling mom who wants to destroy Horton and his new found friends because of it's threat to the way things are in their jungle society.
Horton is a teacher of jungle kids - fun and silly.
Kangaroo's son asks sadly from her pouch "Mom, why can't I play with the other kids?" and she explains to the other moms
that she "Pouch-schools" and is portrayed as a narrow-minded, cold, controlling fanatic who is constantly telling her son to "go to his room" as she shoves his head down into her pouch and tells him continually that whatever is happening doesn't concern him. She goes to a vulture to have Horton and his little world of friends destroyed - when discussing what to do for payment, the vulture wants her son in exchange for doing what she asks. Her son is frightened and looks
to her for protection - she shuts him up and tells him "I'm thinking about it..." It is very clear that her motives throughout the film were not done out of love for her child, but out of a desperate need to control ideas and keep the authority/tradition of her world from being threatened. My husband and I both felt that it was far from subtle against homeschooling - the negative stereotypes of homeschoolers were sprinkled throughout. I don't know what's better -
to boycott it or see it and write a letter to the movie producers. I wanted to write this because I would have liked to have known what was in it before seeing it.

2. It is Chronological
3. It is self-contained. (No outside books we need to borrow or buy)
4. It is easily adaptable to use with all children's abilities
5. It is budget friendly
6. It can be used as broadly or as in-depth in scope as you want without getting bogged down in any particular areas

Here's what we don't like about it:

1. It's not finished yet - it is only two volumes so far
2. It dates the creation as around 5000BC and we personally believe it is around 4000BC

My husband and I were having breakfast this morning at IHOP, and I was just looking out the window watching people going to and fro without a care in the world. A thought popped into my head and I looked at DH and said "Isn't it strange that we are of the generation that is in the end times?" He just looked at me and shook his head yes!! He's not a Watchman like I am, although he is a Christian, and you can imagine how much I fill him in on everything. But, why ISN'T he a Watchman too? Why ISN'T he as interested or maybe you could say "obsessed" with wanting to know. I think it has to do with how the Holy Spirit leads us.

I haven't been using history so much this year. My kid was resistant to being homeschooled, so I started out with strictly stuff she would be more interested in, then worked other subjects in with it as this year went on. I'll probably not add history until next year.

I don't know about the rest of you but sometimes I literally have to force myself to think of something else!

It's like I get so excited about the rapture I think I'm going to jump out of my skin, my heart starts to race, and I cannot concentrate on another thing. For example I will be brushing my teeth and thinking about the brush falling into the sink because we'll be gone. It's as if I have to tell myself, "Calm down Ashley!"

Can't help it but my heart is already there and now I'm wanting my body to join it!

It is more scary than you can imagine. I recently read something that posited that the nephilim of the old testament were able to come to this plane of existence by entering chimera bodies. That is what a human animal hybrid really is. But the article stated that it was the human part that was able to accept the spirit of the nephilim and the animal part that prevented a human soul from occupying it at conception. However, I couldn't help wondering if the 555 had any Biblical meaning. You know, like 6 is the number of man, so 666 is the Antichrist. 7 is the number of perfection, so 777 means God. I couldn't find any definitive Biblical meaning for 5.

Then I looked up 5 and "meaning" as a general idea in Google...and occult websites came up. Apparently, it symbolizes death to them. (Don't know exactly why, didn't really care at that point to read those sites any further to find out.)

One website claimed that 555-2368 (hate to even type it now) was the most often used number in movies and Tv shows. I don't know if that's true or not, but I did find a list of 10 instances. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more. In addition to Ghostbusters, it was used in the Mel Gibson film "Forever Young" and at the start of every episode of the Rockford Files.

So every time 555 is used in Hollywood, it is a demonic declaration of death.
When 2368 is added, it is a declaration of death to Jesus Christ.

I had an experience this past July that really woke me up I was talking to a friend about world events being like endtime prophecy from the Bible. Well my friend went on vacation to Bullhead City and on to Malibu when he got back he said"those people out there are not living like it's the end times they are building houses like crazy and livin' it up". Well the lightbulb came on in my head and I said "that's what Jesus said it would be like just before he returned."Matthew 24:36-39 My friends reply was "I been hearing that my whole life and it aint happend yet" well that's when the sirens went off in my head; 2nd Peter 3:3-4 I told him that's just what the Bible said people would say .Now he just thinks I'm crazy, anyway that's one of the reasons I joined this board !

I can walk into a crowded room and mention the Rapture and whoosh the room is empty. That is ok if you need a seat, , but does not say much for the people. I get the feeling that they are afraid, and do not want to hear what is comming.
What is ahead is so much better than what we have here. I do not understand them.

I see it in mostly the un-saved people. I was telling my daughter that we (the saved, born agains), I believe are supernaturally protected with the Holy Spirit. It's almost like you can "see" the huge separation, the diffference between the goats and the sheep.

The ones who aren't saved are able to act more evil and be filled with anything fowl.
