I looked around online to see if Kobe Bryant had any history of making anti-semitic comments or anything like that, and nope, at least from a quick search, I ain’t finding a damn thing of the sort. In fact, it seems like quite the opposite was the case! Actual quote from the article:

Bryant told me his dad and mom taught him that “they don’t see color, religion, race. Just human beings.”

So yeah, “pebbleyeet” is just lying and putting words in people’s mouths, I guess I should not be surprised.

Uh, well, yeah…isn’t any death caused by a “medical emergency”????

I know there was a thing years ago, not sure how long ago, but sometimes the official cause of death of someone who died at an old age was just called “old age.” Nowadays it’s usually described specifically, like they’ll say “heart failure” or whatever.

Yeah, maybe I’ll give the series another try eventually, I dunno. I might be a bit biased myself; my favorite fantasy series are the ones I got into a young age, DragonLance by Weis and Hickman (and a shitload of other authors who wrote books in the same universe) and Xanth by Piers Anthony. (which, btw, often gets a bad rap for being misogynistic…I can see that in some of the earlier books, but I think it’s gotten better in that regard as the series goes on.)
