"No issues of being a girl" around you. Kids are more perceptive then you think. They listen to their parents, they pay attention to what their parents say and how they act. Your son was aware of what you thought of trans people and hid what he was feeling from you for as long as he could. And I don't blame him given how you are acting.

Sadly it works. I recently learned my sister believed the whole propaganda about Lia Thomas, that the trans athlete dominated the competition. My sister is pro-trans but didn't even know the real story was that she tied for fifth and the slander was spread by the other woman in fifth.
