Violence during a breakup is overwhelmingly male on female, but violence during breakups is not a high percentage of how relationships end. Personally, I suspect that if women were on average bigger and stronger than men they'd be the sex known for physical abuse and the percentages M/F vs F/M would flip.

Not sure this is wrong per se. The genetics that cause a predisposition towards alcohol usage disorders are being studied (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3506170/) and I would guess that they are selected against when alcohol is readily available in quantities that allow drinking oneself to death.
