I think most fundies define “Freedom” more as “freedom from choice” rather than “freedom of choice”. If that makes sense. They want the freedom not to have to think for themselves and just want God (or whoever claims to speak for god) to tell them what to do. And anyone who opposes that is obviously enroaching upon said “freedom from choice” and has to be eliminated.

Then again… They want the freedom to be slaves to their religion & beliefs but simultaniously it HAS to be everything they specifically want to believe in. So, they want to be free so they can become slaves to what they want to be and that’ll make them free to be slaves and… My thinker hurts.
