No one likes higher taxes. But New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s plan to tax wealthy residents’ second homes has elicited a highly emotional response from two of the city’s richest.
“Creepy and weird,” is what Ken Griffin had to say Tuesday at a conference about Mamdani’s campaign-style video touting the tax outside the hedge fund manager’s $238 million penthouse.

But things are getting out of hand on the national scene. We’ve got national TV figures, and politicians committing nasty acts of verbal violence that instigates actual violence.
In this past week, pretend-comedian Jimmy Kimmel made one of the most sickening comments I have heard in years. Kimmel, on his show, that aired on April 23 that satirized the then-upcoming White House Correspondents’ Dinner, pretended to address Melania Trump and joked that the First Lady had “a glow like an expectant widow.”
Pure and simple: SICKENING to make such a remark about Melania Trump after her husband had survived two other attempts on his life from assassins. Ironically, a shooter tried to kill Trump at the Correspondent’s Dinner at a big hotel over the weekend.

I was browsing around a second-hand charity shop bookstore the other day, and picked this book up (attached picture) British Painters in Paris] for a few pounds. I’ve now examined it throughout twice (so far), and found some of my favourite paintings (I like most of them, and there are many more… one good formal ball scene was spoiled by the presence of a nigger serving boy)
I had a brief, well, what I would call spiritual crisis earlier… examining the elegance of the pictures and the often sumptuous settings, that delicacy and grace, and the reserved yet carefree nature of the subjects, and realising that neither the scenes[…]could ever be recreated in our garish and vulgar modern world
What beauty is there today? How on earth could an artist draw inspiration from our sprawl? It made me extremely sad, examining a world lost (that cannot even be painted adequately today, not if one kept to the artistic requirement of realism! It would feel contrived if even attempted! All we have to paint is ruins and relics – no people would suit the aesthetic requirement; hopefully some in bodies, none in dress)

I like dwelling on these sorts of books, but, as with the landscape pieces (which made me almost as sad as the portraits and interior scenes)… I just know all we have is litter and decay[…]The streets were so clean, so well laid out, tended to, and verdant, all quiet colonnades and verdant parks, reserved public buildings in good upkeep; respected (I remember also, as counterpoint, Gustave Doré’s illustrations of the Victorian squalor of London, but I look to continental Europe during this period for the most inspiration, England having been ruined visually – and in terms of settlement – by the Industrial Revolution, and never recovering from that ugly loss)
I see why this must be reclaimed, along with the best of our physical bodies, as an aesthetic impulse, but will art ever recover? I don’t think it will in my lifetime. I was sobbing a little there, to myself, withholding tears

THE EAST WING BALLROOM AND THE DEEP STATE PANIC
The new White House ballroom officially a 90,000+ square foot East Wing expansion project announced in July 2025, with construction beginning September 2025 is not a vanity project. It is a strategic structural and operational hardening of the executive seat of power. Trump has pushed it as necessary for larger state events, inaugurations, and secure gatherings that the current cramped facilities cannot handle.
The project includes significant underground components framed as national security bunkers and hardened infrastructure. It has faced relentless bureaucratic, legal, and media sabotage because it represents a physical and symbolic break from the old controlled architecture of Washington.
The Real Strategic Purpose
The ballroom allows Trump (and future aligned administrations) to host major events on secured White House grounds rather than at vulnerable external venues like the Washington Hilton (site of the recent Correspondents’ Dinner incident). This removes dependence on hotels and outside caterers tied to legacy networks.
It creates a self-contained, expandable, defensible space for large-scale gatherings, private donor events, and operational continuity during crises. The underground elements provide hardened command, communication, and continuity-of-government capacity that bypasses vulnerable legacy D.C. infrastructure long infiltrated by entrenched agencies.
This fits the White Hat compression pattern perfectly. Trump is systematically removing dependencies on external, compromised infrastructure. The ballroom severs logistical chokepoints long used by bureaucratic, intelligence-adjacent, and occult-aligned networks to monitor, influence, or disrupt executive functions.
Every external event is a potential soft target (bugged rooms, contractor cutouts, ritual-friendly venues). The new facility brings large-scale gatherings inside a hardened, self-contained grid under direct control above and below ground.
I would also like a true follow-up to Bloodlines, one day. And I want it to be every bit as woke and/or gay as the horde insisted this game would be. If there isn't a sequence with 9 guys blowing 10 guys I will demand my money back.
