I have been saying for some time that people who expect the government to save them from covid and give them money so they don’t have to work have chosen the government to be their god. Those who take a knee at the playing and singing of the National Anthem think they are protesting something but taking a knee is symbolic of a prayerful position toward God. That is why people in the past stood for the anthem instead of bowing and getting on their knees. That position is reserved for God, not the flag or the nation. No one likes adhering to an ideology where the fundament is to look at yourself as “equally worthless dust under gods feet.” People like to feel like they have inherit value and worth (cause they do) as opposed to being beaten into believing theyre worthless.

This is a very small minded take. Human value changes with perspective. You are nothing on your own, but you should rejoice, because God has given you everything, including your value if you're humble enough to accept it. This manifests itself very easily in the way that most people who don't accept God are nihilistic and really do come to believe that they are without value because they rejected the only being that could give it to them.

No one wants to adhere to an ideology where another one of the fundaments is to give everything you got to a world that gives nothing and is thankless in return.

They're basicly the same kind of people. They have a herd-mentality and slave morals. Scientism is basicly a devotional ideology, akin to modern Christianity. They do not "know" anything, but rather, they have certainties, i.e. they hold that certain propositions are logically immune to doubt. In the case of the "rational" science type, this is, most importantly, doctrines that espouse materialism, progress and evolution. They do not know anything about the actual natural laws, about physics, nor biology. They cannot tell you how life has emerged when asked. They will simply refer to authority; they yell "we believe the experts", as if that is some kind of solid epistemic proof for your beliefs (it isn't). Similarly, religious types tend to refer to their priest, imam, or whatever external body of knowledge they believe to valid and justified to believe in. But at the end of the day, they are people who are in a deep psychic sleep, unaware that they are themselves bodies governed by external events that act in an entirely mechanical fashion.

All what you're referring to here is just "horizontal" variation of "species". Whether by genetic drift or mate choice, it does not innovate. In other words, genetics is conservative, not creative - and you've just proved it by saying that, whether these "spin-offs" can or cannot interbreed is besides the point: Fruit flies are still fruit flies; mosquitoes are still mosquitoes; beetles are still beetles (cats are cats, dogs are dogs, etc. etc. etc.). It's the same tired old story of the variation of beaks Darwin noticed on the Galápagos Islands

A gay Iranian man has been reportedly beheaded by his brother and two cousins after they discovered he had been exempted from military service due to his sexuality.

Alireza Fazeli Monfared, 20, was allegedly taken by the three male members of his family to the village of Borumi, western Iran, and murdered.

Afterwards, the three killers allegedly called Alireza's mother to tell them they had 'finished him off'.

Alireza had applied for an exception from the compulsory Iranian military service for being gay so that he could leave the country and move to Turkey to live with his partner Aghil Abyat, according to 6Rang, the Iranian Lesbian and Transgender Network.

But when the exception card arrived at his home in the city of Ahvaz, Alireza was not home and instead his half-brother is said to have discovered his sexual orientation after finding the card.

At 7pm on Tuesday Alireza spoke to his mother on the phone for the last time, Abyat told IranWire.

Shortly afterwards, his half-brother arrived at Alireza's home and said their father needed to see him and drove him to Borumi during the night.

It was here that his sibling and two male cousins allegedly murdered and beheaded Alireza, before dumping his body by a palm tree.

'There was no news of him until Wednesday, when Alireza's stepbrother called his mother and told her: 'We've finished him off',' Abyat said.

'In other works, he confessed to murdering Alireza,' Abyat claimed. 'They found his body under some palm trees. It's now with the medical examiner and his mother has been hospitalised because of the shock.'

A former medical student turned truck pusher has reportedly castrated himself to serve God properly.

Terhemen Anongo, a 44-year-old resident of Gboko in Benue State [in Nigeria] had removed one of the testicles himself in 2021 and almost lost his life in the process.

He had said: “You know how the issue of sexual urge torments one when you don’t have a wife, coupled with your religious beliefs. I am someone deeply involved in religion and I read about Origen Adamantius, one of the early church leaders from Egypt, who paid to be castrated so that he would not be bothered by sexual urge.

“It was in an attempt to do the same thing that I removed my right testicle but there was a heavy flow of blood, so I abandoned it (castration) and rushed to hospital.”

Anongo made headlines in March 2021 after he personally undertook the surgery, which resulted in profuse bleeding.

He was however given a second chance at life after being taken for medical attention by those around him.

The man who reportedly dropped out from the University of Ibadan medical school over alleged ill-health, stated that the castration was based on his religious belief that since he was not married, he needed to serve God faithfully, Punch reports.

Speaking on removing his second testicle, he said: “I went to remove the second testicle based on religious belief. I removed it on Monday. The first one had little hitches but this one having learnt from that experience, I did it very well. Somebody is always coming to dress it for me.
