BUT, many people do not realize that the pill, taken as it is prescribed, can also cause an abortion! Here's how it works: The first line of defense is supposed to prevent the pregnancy. But there is a second line of defense. If there is a conception (in other words, a baby is on the way), the second line makes the body so that it will not nurture the new baby, thus causing an abortion.

A few months ago, when I went to bed, I left some cookies out. But men who are weaker still may not even be able to stop there. These men may go further and act on their desires. If a man commits rape, has he done wrong? Absolutely! If the woman tempted him, is she wrong as well? Sure is! This flies in the face of the sensibilities we have all been taught because we have believed a lie. We have believed that we can do whatever we want and there are no consequences to our sins. This is a lie.
If your goal is promoting views against the Word of God (or stereotypes the Fundamentalist, as you call it), then you are welcome to leave. This site exists to give teens a safe place to fellowship, to teach them about the Word of God. It is not a forum for people to come in express their non-Biblical views.

There is a couple of teens here around my house. They claim to be Christians, to be saved, but they haven't a clue. Once, one of them was telling me about this wonderful so-called Christian concert he went to. When I tried to explain to him how that was not Christian, he revolted! How dare I judge him. After all, "...people were getting saved there!" he exclaimed. Yet, just a few days ago, I saw this kid in his girlfriend's FRONT YARD. She was sitting on the steps and he was a few feet away from her. There were some others in the yard, and he pulls his pants down! Is that how a Christian acts? There is a difference between a lady who's body style is more athletic (and thus less feminine) than a 'girly-girl' (please pardon my descriptions) and a female who is trying to appear as masculine as possible. In this case, it was a lesbian who, in all likelihood, wants to be a man and who was mistaken, at a close distance (face-to-face), for a man. If she was mistaken for a man, it is also likely that she had facial hair. This is a sign that she quite possibly was taking hormones to give her the appearance of a man. This is clearly wrong. She is trying to be something other than what God designed her to be. There are girls out there who are more athletic and who develop slightly differently. These girls should be especially careful in what they do and how they develop their bodies so as to avoid the masculine appearance. The way a lady dresses and adorns herself, regardless of her body style, should be completely feminine so that she leaves no doubt that she is a lady.
By the way, from my point of view, there is more to being a lady than just being born as a female. A lady is defined by the way she dresses and adorns herself. A lady is defined by the way she talks, the way she presents herself through the day. A lady is also defined by her countenance: she will have a fine testimony and a sweet spirit about her. She will be a joy to be around. Finally, a lady is worthy of respect. The person who was mistaken for a man was no lady, would not have gotten my respect.

I just wanted to see what everyone's thought was on this. Recently, we have had to switch churches due to some changes and compromising in our church. When we started looking for a new church, we realized that they were only about 4 in the whole state of Missouri that was still a solid church. We then started looking at other church website's around the coutry that are/were solid, independent baptist churches, it seemed as if they had changed. We would look at the photo galleries, and see mixed swimming, youth activites with teens dressed immodestly, and even contemporary concerts. What is happening?
We even looked at a so-called indpendent baptist church in Texas where they recently had a contemporary artist singing in their church! The pastor of this church is very well known, and it was a big dissapointment to me. The pastor is still preaching in large conferences at good churches today.
It seems that even colleges are changing by adding water parks and surf teams to their campus. Are we at Bible college to serve God and learn about the Bible or are we here to get away from mom and dad and have some fun? It appears that volleyball teams now wear shorts to play in, whereas 10 years ago they were still in cullotes, and I don't mean loose fitting shorts. I recently heard Bro. Tony Hutson preach "Old Time Religion" and it was such a blessing to me. He mentioned that churches would still be prospering and souls being saved, if we still had the old time religion. I guess they think the old time religion is just too "old" for this generation.

I have two children. My daughter stands firm on her faith because she has taken what we taught her and has made it her own. My son, on the other hand, did not make those biblical teachings his own. He goes to church...reads his Bible....but his hair is longer now, his music has changed, his soon-to-be wife (Oct 5) wears pants... He has swallowed the lie of the devil that it is ok to be more like the world.

We get people who call us or text us all the time, that had the wrong number.. so what we've always done, (me and my family) we say Sorry u havet he wrong # but the right person, and they say "huh?" and we say, im glad you called.. if you died right now, do u know for sure you are going to heaven? yea, we have some that hang up, or say no thanks, but we have seen allot accept Jesus as their Saviour. Sure, God could have done either in an instant, but instead, I think He wanted to show us, to a degree, what He could do. He could have made it so that Sodom and Gomorrah never existed, and no one knew anything of it. But instead, he allowed them the free will to choose their sin, then he destroyed them for their sin. By doing this, God demonstrated His sovereignty and His power. Ultimately, God got the glory out of it.

Why is the world so enamored at this book? I believe the answer is simple: we are in a satanic society. I can imagine some things we see today which could be examples of believers who are being 'tried' because of their sin. Sexually transmitted diseases? These 'trials' can can easily cause a wayward believer to realize their error and turn back to God!

The word "apparel" here is from the Greek word "katastole" which means "a long flowing garment. " So, this verse tells ladies to wear a long, flowing garment. That is what modest is, long and flowing. Pants are quite definitely NOT long and flowing. Pants do not flow. I have never yet seen a pair of pants that flow. Therefore, even if "long," they do not qualify as a long flowing garment. And since they are not a long flowing garment, they are not a katastole. Katastole is translated modest. Therefore, if a modest garment is a long flowing garment, and pants do not flow, pants are not modest.

As for ease of reading: the KJV has been proven to be easier (on a lower grade level) to read than the modern versions.

Personally, I do not believe in atheists. I believe that everyone knows God exists and knows they need to be saved. Sadly, though, they deny it.
While it is true that the cathoic church takes a strong public stand against abortion, how many infant children of nuns, fathered by so called men of God, are buried under catholic churches? Thousands? Tens of thousands? Recently, I read an article describing how that when nun becomes pregnant (from illicit activity with a preist), she is allowed to deliver, then the child is allowed to die. Their are many churches in Europe which have hundreds of corpses of infants under them.
Here's what I see as a big issue: A minority of people (Sodemites, and yes, that's what they are according to the Bible, hate crime law or not!) are trying to slowly take away the freedoms we've had for several hundred years. Whether people want to admitt it or not, these people have an agenda, and unfortunatly they find people willing to help them in our government it seems.

I would say many (most) Catholics are lost. Mainly because they have a works salvation....confession, communion, their form of baptisim, the sacraments, mass, eucharist....you CAN NOT be saved by works, or it's no longer grace.
IF a Catholic gets saved, I don't believe they'll stay Catholic for much longer. The Holy Spirit will not leave them alone after salvation. I believe some of them are deceived...let me rephrase that, most of them are deceived into believing a false gospel that Paul warns about.
There is NO other English Bible. The King James stands alone. There are many translations that have been done since our beloved KJB, but I prefer to call those perversions...because they pervert the pure Word of God. The Catholic Bible is one of those many perversions. Not only does it take out major doctrine we hold dear, but it adds entire non canonical books...the Appocrypha and that nonsense. And it doesn't have them there soley for historical reasons as the first additions of the King James did.

We do not hate the people, Rhajay. God loves the people and wants all to come to Him in repentance and faith. It is the Roman Catholic, Islam, and all other cult teachings which are very anti-Bible that we are against. By the way, I personally believe religion, in any form, should not be taught by the state: whether it be the truth of Christianity or the errors of Islam, Mormonism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Evolutionism and Secular Humanism, to name a few. I believe the parents should have a CLEAR CHOICE in how they educate their children. I also believe the state should either pay for the education of all students, according to the parents wishes, or none of the students. I know this may mean that the state would pay for some students to be educated in error, but many would have the option to learn the truth. As it is now, in order for children to be taught the truth, their parents must pay for the education of their children twice.
