I know God's judgment on the world doesn't start until the great tribulation period but sometimes I wonder whether we see some of the warning signs with the unusual weather across many parts of the world, epsecially as it has seemingly intensified over the past decade, incidentally along with more countries legalizing same sex marriage.
I've been interested in alternative history and ooparts (Out of Place Artifacts) for a while now. I won't give any links out because these days they so quickly go down bad rabbit holes. In that area, even when there are Christians discussing it, it seems there is a push to go to the 'original' Mesopotamian, Babylonian, or Sumerian documents, depending on which faction you happen to be dealing with at the time. I've also seen the push to make the bible symbolic in some areas to better fit these pagan myths, while still trying to claim Christianity. The danger with these is they almost always point away from scripture in two very specific ways: 1) a longer timeline than the Bible provides and 2) ancient aliens. The same flawed logic comes up there as well, with what is perceived as being older automatically being considered more accurate. It's also a very serious deception.
The Darwinian version of history (as opposed to the Biblical) is becoming more decrepit as time goes on, and the many, many artifacts that poke holes in it are starting to gain a critical mass that is causing some people to stand up and question the lies they've been fed. As the old saying goes, you can't pull the wool over the eyes of all the people all the time. We as Christians already know they've been lying about the age of everything, but what many haven't realized is how that erroneous time line affects so many other disciplines as well. Sadly, the next deception is already prepared to lead people even *further* from the truth instead of closer towards God.
As people wake up to the lies they've been fed and the evidence contradicting the lie of our past, the enemy needs another rabbit hole to send them down where they'll be deluded long enough to die in unbelief. *ANYTHING* to keep them from thinking "Hey, these Christian guys might be right". I think that the ancient aliens, and aliens among us themes will be pushed more and more as the Darwinian version of history falls apart. People will be shown 'ancient artifacts of incredible age' (based solely on the erroneous Darwinian timeline of course, lies building on lies) that will be shown to "prove" the Bible is untrue and that we owe our existence instead to some alien race. That's another great red flag on any of this stuff, even real artifacts that should be used to blow holes in the evolutionary time line and show our ancestors weren't just scavenging cave men are instead being used to discredit the bible. The evidences of our ancestors are being used against us, instead of being used by us to prove the bible and disprove the Darwinian / Evolutionist time lie. Even the so called aliens that people deal with today seem to have a primary agenda of trying to discredit Christianity. It always keeps coming back to discrediting the Bible.

I was thinking that because the veil between dimensions can be very thin in some areas at times. Perhaps what is happening on one side is heard or felt on the other.

As to this story pre-dating the Bible, Moses did not record the events of Genesis from first hand knowledge. I mean, he was not there physically to witness the flood. So, how did Moses know what he knew? 1) Stories handed down from Noah's children through Abraham, etc. and down to Moses; and/or 2) God told him. I write "and/or" because I think he grew up knowing a lot of this history, but God then set him straight.
Next point. If a worldwide flood actually occurred, then there would be recollections of that handed down through the generations that descended from Ham, Shem and Japtheth. What happens to stories when they are handed down across generations, particularly in cultures that do not follow Yahweh? They get corrupted - modified to fit the culture or the ideas of the story tellers. (Think about the original Cinderella compared to the modern versions.) And what do we have? Different ancient accounts of a worldwide flood, but with different cultural glosses. Therefore, a worldwide flood did happen.
How do we know that the account in the Bible is the correct one? Because everything else in the Bible has been shown to be true, therefore the Bible's version of the story must be correct. Why would that be? Because God inspired Moses to write the Pentateuch, aka first 5 books of the Bible.

There are a lot more commercials with black couples and families than there were prior to Obama's election. The thing is that according to a 2010 study, 72% of black children come from homes where the mom is unmarried and the head of the household. I've actually heard on Hannity and O'Reilly it's up to 85%, but I couldn't find a study to back that up just on a quick google search. The commercials I've seen are portraying these black families as being a dad and mom with kids living in suburbia, which sadly isn't anywhere near the neighborhood of reality. I think that the year starting off with sodomites "marrying" is giving us a glimpse into how 2014 is going to go - more sinful acts being pushed on Christians to be accepted as normal and if we refuse, then the powers that be are going to make laws to force us to submit and accept (kind of like Islam's submit or die philosophy). I've also noticed that white male characters in many shows are portrayed as stupid and ignorant morons. It seems Hollywood and the liberal progressive politicians are in cahoots to change the image of whites, white men in particular, so that come election time people will have in at least their subconscious that white men are too stupid to be good leaders. They're also portraying Christians and people with conservative views as ignorant, intolerant, bigoted hypocrites who also can't be put into positions of leadership. I seriously believe we're living in the last moments of what used to be the United States of America and seeing the birth of this country being nothing more than another socialist cesspool of massive government debt, oppressive laws, riots (and there will be when the workers are outnumbered by the shiftless, lazy do-nothings who don't want to work - you know, the Democratic voting pool), and no hope for any kind of future...until the man of sin and son of perdition arrives on the scene.
Most of the people in this world are championing the gay lifestyle like never before. Where were all the gays 50 years ago? I respectfully disagree that "Homosexuality" is making something out of nothing. Homosexuality is "something", it is NOT "nothing". Maybe Satan thinks it is "Something from Nothing" but our God does not, Satan is striking right at one of the core beliefs of our God. Homosexuality today has drawn a hard line between those who agree with it or/and practice it and those who stand wholly against it. We have rarely had an agenda that so readily divided the people. Satan has successfully drawn this line and has successfully persuaded governments and peoples of all sizes and shapes to accept his agenda and push it hard all those who do not accept it, thus exposing "True Christians" as haters. Since the days of Moses the people (all people) have accepted the "Ten Commandments" as being a moral code and standard to live by as presented by the one true God. Never has a hard line been drawn on any of the Ten Commandments, it has been accepted that breaking any of the Ten Commandments is wrong and their are harsh consequences, but since we are sinners we fail, we fall, however, a hard core line has never been drawn as to parse out and expose the haters of the commandments vs believers of the commandments. Homosexuality has drawn that line. Those on the Satanic side of that line will suffer Sodom and Gomorrah style deaths to the FULL DELIGHT of Satan, those on the other side will be spared the wrath to come. Thus Satan will do everything in his deceptive power to expose the "haters" of homosexuality, that they may be exposed, persecuted and potentially persuaded to join the Satanic camp prior to the wrath of God being poured out, while he has time.
So YES homosexuality is something... and it is a huge abomination towards our wonderful, precious glorious God in heaven. Which side are you on?
There can be no question that we are indeed living in the last of the last days. The evidence surrounds and screams at us that time is very short. Don't you feel the eeriness of the times? It almost makes my skin crawl. It's like watching the middle part of a horror movie as the plot is rapidly coming together and you know it. Years ago my old paster told me of something that happened where he used to(and now lives again) live in England.

I spent time this Christmas explaining to my close family the relevance of God's headship and our need to fully subordinate ourselves below and to Him. It was beautiful to watch the "duckmen" line up behind Phil this month. When they issued the statement: "We cannot see ourselves going forward without our Patriarch at the helm." Their unity was an honor to watch unfold in the face of potential great loss.
Explaining to my girls the need to submit to the headship of their husbands and all of us to submit to God's headship. That God desired that we "do what He said to do" as in "obey Him." God did not say that we needed to fully understand the "whys" behind our obedience. Just trust in Him. That what He wants for us IS the best.

It didn't take A&E long to cave, did it? I fired off emails yesterday and today to them, not that it'll do any good. A few minutes ago I received an e-mail from the Hilton Hotel in St. Louis. The account manger wanted me to review the banquet charges for a conference that a few of our workers attended last week. After reviewing the 2 invoices I gave the o.k. to bill the company credit card. He then replied "Happy Holidays to you and we hope to be of service to you again in the future." I replied "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you" I also attached a "Who is Jesus" Bible tract in pdf format for him to read. I was glad to be able to share the Gospel with him and I didn't even have to leave the house (working from home now).

There is one problem with what you say and that is that the more Jesus Christ's Name is removed from the public forum the more the left is empowered to keep it removed by these subtil little action's. The link is to an article about a lesbian couple who will likely marry in Illinois this week. One is suffering from terminal breast cancer and they were able to obtain a court ruling allowing them to marry well before the date of June 1st when the new law goes into affect. I felt incredible sadness watching this on the news. This poor woman thinks she is receiving a great gift and a right, but instead she is sinking deeper into sin, and in a few months, will inherit the whirlwind. . How hard it is to show people the light when the political leaders who pass the laws are lovers of the darkness.

Don't know if any of you have seen the commercial by Cisco, but it starts out with a young man being thrown from his motorcycle, and apparently there is some sort of sensor in his helmet, and the audio says that the helmet sends a message to the nearest EMS unit, a signal is sent to the nearest hospital to best treat his injuries (while showing the picture of a geo-stationary satellite), the EMS unit is able to change all the traffic signals so they have green lights all the way to the hospital, and at the end says all this is possible because of Cisco. Sounds like a system that the AC could utilize as apparently the sensor in the man's helmet gave his GPS position and that something had happened to him.

well guess who sits on the throne , and gathers the little children around Him and kisses them , and promises them all their wishes to come true and who lives in the North Pole ?
and the world looks to Him as almost a god at this coming holiday

Never thought of it that way, but you're right! Also Santa can be rearranged to spell satan. Satan Claws. Hmmm wonder how many little children would want to sit on his lap then? Christmas holiday is rife with pagan references. No wonder God's word says even the elect may be deceived.
The answer to how we can see light from things millions of light years away when the Earth is only 6000 years old is found in Genesis. God is His wisdom KNEW we wouldn't be able to see that light yet, so He created light already in transit from there to here, such that we (within 6k years) would see now what otherwise would have taken millions of years to reach us. Anyway, here's the passage:
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Gen 1:3)
Note He created light BEFORE He created the stars. Again, He made the light already in place so we could see those stars He was about to put into existence far out there.
As someone once said, only God can think of everything.
I do not know if my brother and sisters in Christ have also been feeling the darkness grow on a personal level, but in the past week I have experienced some very crazy things and I even scared myself. This past week has been pretty tough, I never had it this bad. The enemy is attacking me all the way in prayer, taking over my tongue and almost made me rebuke Jesus. I immediately repented and rebuked the devil. I just keep on praying and praising the LORD even though I feel the darkness grow, I won't give up!

I am still on such a high (from Jesus) but I have the worst headache in the world (and I never get headaches) so that must be from the devil.
The devil sure isn't liking all this celebrating. He gets so angered when another soul gets saved.
I know I can sometime ramble and talk to much but all of this really took me by surprise. I am so happy for my ex husband but I am also happy for my children that they have their father back. I have always felt so horrible that my kids have had 2 very unhealthy parents and I know they have hated every minute of it. I am still very ill so my witness is not the greatest for them, they would not look at me and want what I have, as they only see me from a worldly point of view, they don't see my heart.
But, my ex, if he allows Jesus to continue to work through him, he will be a perfect witness to my children.
It staggers me to think that if the Rapture really is very, very soon (as a lot of us here do think), then the vast majority of people now alive on the earth are going to die possibly within a few years and they just have no idea. It makes you want to go outside and scream a warning to everyone but you'd just be written off as a raving lunatic.
The other day a thought hit me like a ton of bricks... The majority of young to middle age people who are alive today will not live very long lives like past generations.. They will leave this earth at a much younger age than those before them.. The majority of people especially young people expect to live to see old age. They expect to be 75 one day with white hair and have grandkids, but they have no clue... The reason they will not live to be very old is (1). Either they will be raptured. (2). Or the majority will either die as a martyr or die during the 7 year tribulation. (3) very few will survive the tribulation... When I think about that it is such an odd feeling... The weirdest feeling about this is very few of them know this - they have no clue what is going to happen.
Hi all. I am really feeling a since of urgency in my soul . I have studied prophecy for many years, and the burden on my spirit is something that I just can't shake. Events are happening so fast in the world and in our country that it is hard to keep up with them. I am constantly fighting off extreme feelings of anger as I watch evil men and women being given more and more control of my country. The persecution of our brothers and sisters in other countries is something that is keeping me up at night, as America could care less, and our leaders in fact I think are endorsing it. I pray that the rapture comes quickly as I do not want to have my faith tested like so many of our martyred brothers and sisters around the world. I find myself relishing the thought of judgement on these evil men and women, when I know that I should be praying for them instead. We are not battling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places. The devil has divided this nation, and a house divided cannot stand. I pray for the Holy Spirit to bring calm to my soul, and give me strength.
