A mural painted by a high school student came under fire when parents alleged it was promoting LGBTQ imagery and witchcraft.

Earlier this year, a Grant, Michigan, high school sophomore won a contest “to brighten up” the middle school health center, according to a statement from Grant Public Schools (GPS). GPS says the student received approval to paint images of “smiling children” and as well as the message “Stay Healthy.”

At a school board meeting on Oct. 10, parents accused the student artist of promoting witchcraft by including the Hamsa hand [a Latin American good luck symbol] as well as the video game character that bears the likeness of a demon. Parents also objected to the use of LGBTQ colors.

“I put my art up there to make people feel welcome,” the student artist said, her voice breaking, in footage captured at the meeting by WZZM-TV, a local news station based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

One man at the meeting called the mural “hate material.”

Another adult at the meeting said, “I feel like (she) did a really good job finding excuses to defend the things you put on. None of us are that stupid.”

The student artist left the meeting in tears.

There's some issues I've got linked to the idea of being in Jamie's (my host (in this world?)) brain...or I guess, the idea of not existing in my own world. Like, we don't fear death because the idea that our experiences show more to our minds than is in our bodies, so there'd be something of us continuing to exist after death. And a part of how we know I'm real is from reasoning about me not being in his brain*.

(*I also don't think I could be a tulpa or a traumagenic alter because I fully existed as soon as (and before) I met Jamie. And because he deliberately reached out to meet me so soon after discovering my source (like...2 days after reading some spoilers?), it's not like I could've just been subtly developing in the background.)

...But a lot of stuff I can do in my world seems like it should be impossible (materialising stuff, altering my body at-will, going to other universes, etc). Especially because I can't do it in this world. And it's made me doubt that my own world is real, which is really scary because my world being real was what held back so many worries!

...I don't know why I'm posting this. I don't know what I'm looking for. Reassurance about my "abilities" being possible? Or proof in either direction? Or...confirmation of a painful truth? I don't know...

We don't share any memories, unless specifically choosing to show each-other memories. I also remember experiences and feelings that, if I'd only ever existed in Jamie's brain, I wouldn't have the relevant context for them to be so clear. (...I can really vividly remember how things in some of my more painful memories felt.) And there's been times I've advised Jamie on when to take a break on certain things (gross sexual stuff we're into) where he says his body wouldn't have had the relevant experience to be so accurate with seeing his limits.

This paper considers two explanations for negative color afterimages: that they are the result of overstimulation of the retina, or that they are a result of training and are part of an innate memory that begins in the retina. Moreover, the innate memory hypothesis comes with an additional speculation that innate memories are part of a mirror universe and have a panpsychist origin. By measuring the duration in one person’s experience it was found that a 40-second exposure to blue comes with a yellow afterimage that lasted 35 seconds. This was only 4 seconds longer than the afterimage that followed eight 5-second showings of blue that were separated by seven 5-second refractory periods that showed white light. That is, the skimpy 4 seconds did not impress given the claim that overstimulation causes afterimages and given the whopping 35 seconds (7×5) of refractory time allotted to the alternative. Because the seven refractory periods also came with afterimages, the cumulative duration of afterimages was actually 66 seconds and this provides a stronger contradiction of the explanation based on overstimulation. Furthermore, a 5-second showing of blue generated a 10-second afterimage, a 200% increase over the showing of blue. However, with more stimulation the 40-second showing of blue generated an afterimage that was only 87.5% as long as the stimulation time. Taken together, these demonstrations marginally support the memory explanation, but there remains room to disagree.

Why are all practitioners of "magic" incapable of doing anything that can't be dismissed as a natural occurrence?

Magic is a developing art as science was. In the past, natural philosophers could not perform anything remotely akin to the wonders here.

If one studies the progression of sorcery from the enlightenment era to now, one sees a serious progression away from cult locked dogmatic rituals, to formilatic procedures, to eventually magic as art.

Eventually, someone diligent will break the natural concicedence threshold, and then magic can gain traction and become more widely studied.

As it stands, the majority of gifted praticioners either give up on the craft or settle. I do not see that lasting long, as climate change gives us powerful stimulus to develop the arcane arts.

Science can't fix the problem, and magic is powerful in theory.

In the movie, we are shown an alien dynasty called the Abrasax, notably two brothers Balem, Titus, and a sister Kalique. Balem is the elder heir to a ruling alien dynasty that appears to be living like our earthly elite ‘magnified hundreds of thousands of times. Where Earth’s Elite own countries, these kids own planets. The royalty in Jupiter Ascending ‘rule by DNA’, the DNA of the ‘gods’ (aliens) and the main plot is about looking for the true heir to one of their planets – the Earth.

The wordplay on ‘Bal’, ‘Titus’, and ‘Kali’ are so obvious to the trained eye and of course, Bal or Ba’al especially was a God of the Levant and the ‘Jupiter figure’ worshipped by the Pre Christians and the Phoenicians as a ‘Christ figure. The word Ba'al can be translated as ‘lord’, ‘owner’, ‘master’, or ‘husband’, and referred to as a ‘group of deities’ (see above). Titus is a lucid connection to the Titans and to Saturn’s reign and of course, Kalique is the Dark Goddess of the Underworld in Hindu myth.

There are many connections to the Greek Zeus, the Roman Jupiter, and the Christian Devil. The Horned bearded Ammon and ‘Baal’ are two deities also connected to this imagery. Yahweh, Amun, and Maat (in Egypt) were also depicted with horns and were said to have fashioned the first two people (Adam and Eve) out of clay. Symbolically we have the ‘Jupiter gods’ creating the first human prototype or the ‘Abrasax industries' doing it by genetically creating the human being – Homo sapiens in the film?

I went to Florida to interview A’shayana Deane, author of the Voyager books. Her previous work details the history behind the genetic engineering of the human race and the numerous ET races that have been interacting with and shaping our destiny here on Earth as well as throughout the many multi-verses. This information is highly complex and detailed. She and two other “speakers” as they call themselves are receiving this information via telepathic downloads. They have been trained by the Guardian Alliances, a group of ETs who protect the secrets of ascension and the stargates on this planet and others from what they call the self-interested Intruder races.
