The most shocking thing about this is that there are 15,000 transgender people in the military. The US military has a long and ugly history of medical experimentation on its own members. How many of these 15,000 transgender members are unwitting test subjects for whatever sick experiments the higher-ups in the US military are running? I strongly suspect that this the latest chapter in that long and ugly history.

I recently read somewhere that it's to do with serving members requiring regular medication to sustain life. If you have type 1 diabetes you will not pass the medical exam to join. If you are diagnosed after joining, you can be discharged as medically unfit. It's all about being able to serve in combat conditions and being physically able to withstand difficult circumstances in battle. This was how the trans service members were discharged last time. They can't claim that without daily hormones they would die yet still say they are fit enough to serve.

Most of them are considered non-deployable so there really is no point in keeping them in the military. They are a drain on resources better spent elsewhere. Also female soldiers deserve to have their dorms and showers free of males. This is a win and I hope it’s what happens.

I didn’t vote in the recent election due to living in a solid blue state and because I felt so unmotivated to bother registering to vote on time this year. Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election with historic numbers, and I truly believe that one reason for that is that the country is tired of wokeness and having it shoved down our throats. We're tired of participation trophies, whether they're for Little Leaguers or presidential candidates. We're tired of a fringe group forcing us to go out of our way to play along with how they want to live their private lives. We're tired of trigger warnings before movies and college students who need safe spaces and social justice taking over the football games we watch to escape from all that stuff.

We're tired of public school systems pushing a progressive ideology on children who don't even know how to read. We don't care what our colleagues' pronouns are; we just care that we get our work done and get paid. Women are tired of men taking over our sports, our bathrooms, and our sacred place in the world. Men are tired of being blamed for everything because they merely exist. We're all tired of absurdity triumphing over common sense.

As a Georgia resident and a product of said university system who was taking classes at the University of Georgia as recently as last year, I have to admit that I've always felt lucky that our higher education institutions don't seem to be quite as woke as those in other parts of the country. But I think this is a step in the right direction to prevent them from going that way. And I think it's proof that this so-called purple state still has a nice reddish tint. Let's hope more organizations follow.

Whether they choose it or not, today trans-identifying young people are at a higher risk of being sexually trafficked in a situation they cannot escape.

The dots are easy to connect. A young person is drawn into changing their identity through gender ideology, a cult-like school of thought that rejects questioning, and lured away from their family either through the state or a stranger online that coaxes (or grooms) them into leaving their family to live a transgender life. State systems and traffickers alike would prefer to benefit from this process, which is why many public educators (in state-funded schools) are introducing children to new and confusing sexual concepts to give children the initial nudge into adopting a trans identity and splitting from their families (either legally or illegally). Parents in some states are threatened with loss of custody of their children if they do not comply. The rest is done through peer and online pressure.

To perfect this system, the lower tiers have no idea that they are grooming children for potential trafficking. Educators and allies alike believe they have adopted the new gender-inclusive LGBTQ+ ideology for the sake of empathy, inclusion, and affirmation to “save the trans kids.” But the more youth that identify as trans and post themselves online, the larger the catalog for traffickers becomes. The more children that cry to be legally separated from their “abusive” non-accepting families, the more money a state can claim by funneling them into the foster care system. And is it a coincidence that these vulnerable children are being encouraged to delay puberty using 'puberty blockers'—the same drugs employed in the chemical castration of sex offenders—ultimately prolonging their prepubescent appearance? Combine this with the fact that the average parent has no control over what their child is viewing on the internet. It creates a predator's paradise.

If we do not work to reel in and repair the damage done by gender ideology, we risk thousands of children experiencing what no child or human being should ever experience: SEX TRAFFICKING.

This is where the forced teaming with LGB really hurts, because it's so hard to decouple now and so any attempt to talk about trans gets branded as homophobia or good old "anti-LGBTQ." I noticed that even snarky sites that make fun of trans anything got upset with Mace and branded her as "hating queer folk." Which immediately shut down all discussion of the real issue.

AOC knows her brand is being young and progressive so it's going to be impossible for her to go too far off script. All these "let's have hard discussions about where Dems go wrong" already have preset topics in place.

That said... I do think behind the scenes a few politicians understand. I just don't know how much the messaging will change. The best thing we can do is be vocal online and IRL to show that people are sick of this toxic shitshow.

I have no idea what it's like to be AOC. She's been a politician for so long she is part of "the swamp" but the lefty swamp of victim hierarchy thinking which puts a regular working joe of any color, sex or orientation as privileged over trans people (including rich perverts like Jamie Lee Curtis' son) or people from war torn countries a million miles away (including when those people commit literal atrocities and upload themselves to their victims' facebook doing it), and therefore unworthy of sympathy and policy. I genuinely doubt she will ever come around. Agreed! We need her! I really think she should use her platform to highlight some of the things that have been going on. Reduxx has plenty of new stories each day that the American public isn’t preview to but should be. This is how she will help women win the public. Unfortunately just calling them mentally ill (which they are) helps support the bullying argument, and she may end up setting us back on the left. I don’t think this should be a partisan issue. For example, she could have retweeted the video of the track and field runner begging school officials not to include males in their female track team. Democrats will have nothing to say to this.

tldr; she's arguing that all objections to trans rights boil down to a cultural anxiety to force women to keep churning out babies. Trans rights break that paradigm - some of her argument acknowledges the sterility issue but 90% of it is "look, Putin is all for traditional family values and he hates LGBT and this is true of Trump and Vance too, therefore these issues are clearly linked."

If trans rights break the cultural anxiety to force women to keep churning babies in half, then defense of trans rights is no less than defense of reproductive rights.

I can kind of see where this comes from because I know some academics still tying themselves in knots, but I just feel her analysis misses a lot of things.

So I just finished reading Orwell's 1984 and the irony can't be lost that a "Big Brother" "Star" has reported J.K. Rowling to the Thought Police.

Recent legislation has made me extremely optimistic. (Almost all gender critical legislation is coming from the Republican Party though, as Democrats continue to double down on gender ideology and alienate voters). Regardless of which party is passing it, we should celebrate the progress we've made in the U.S to protect women's sex-based rights!

When it comes to gender critical legislation, we've come a long way from 2019. A few examples:

- 25 states now ban TIMs from competing in women's sports. This is a huge change from 2019, when 0 states had this legislation in place.
- 22 states ban the chemical castration of minors ("puberty blockers") and ban butchers from performing double mastectomies / phalloplasty / vaginoplasty on children. A HUGE WIN for child safeguarding!!
- 10 states have some version of a bathroom bill on the books which enshrine in law that bathrooms and locker rooms are single-sex facilities
- 7 states ban the teaching of gender ideology in K-12 schools (unfortunately, teaching about LGB is also censored as a result, as the TQ have linked themselves via the alphabet soup)
- 3 states have passed the WoLF sponsored Women's Bill of Rights in 2023, with more posed to pass it this year
- 2 states restrict drag performances from being performed around children
Half the country has made enourmous progress on this issue. I hope the Democrats will be forced to come around eventually as more of their base peaks.

Dysphoria, as these people like to think of it, doesn't exist. It's a made up concept, sort of like the whole "multiple personalities" schtick. No, you do not have this fictional condition that makes you unable to function in your own body.

What you're experiencing are feelings of self-consciousness, envy, shame, anxiousness, and dissatisfaction that every person on earth feels, except unlike most people who deal with these feelings in healthy ways and learn to let them go, you've obsessed over them to the point where it's all you think about.

That is what "real dysphoria" is. Self-centeredness to the point of not being able to function correctly.

Either that or sexual compulsions brought on by paraphilia that you indulge in to the point that they become a behavioral addiction that, like all other addictions, is hard to break and causes you "discomfort" when you stop indulging in it.

Edit: I'd also like to add that addictions tend to take over all of your thoughts and begin to consume you and you end up centering your entire life around them. These people don't need "gender care." They need addiction rehab.

Like many other addictions (food, drugs, hoarding, alcohol) this addiction may have come about due to adverse childhood experiences. Regardless, that's no excuse for allowing your addiction to derail your own life and the lives of others. Stop using examples of little gay boys calling themselves girls because they don't understand homosexuality yet, are afraid of being bullied, and don't actually know the physical differences between sexes, therefore associate being men and women with superficial sexist stereotypes to excuse your own perversions or your own behavioral addictions.

Leave the rest of us alone and get some help. Seriously.

Relatable. I felt a lot of empathy at first for those feeling gender dysphoria because of course I could relate to it. I think a large majority of women and girls in the world do relate to not wanting to be female at least a few different points in our lives, for a variety of reasons. Can men breastfeed is asking the wrong question

Men want to "breastfeed" for the same reason they want to "menstruate." The are both faux/foe activities (foes to women and children). They are simulating women's experiences to experience sexual arousal, if not in the moment, then afterwards.

These men breastfeed with the baby as a sex toy. Once they've established "sex toy" status for the child, when does it stop? Wide open for continuing sexual abuse, even at a low level - the child has been sexualized, how does a man with a sexual fetish walk that back for the sake of the child?

Taking pictures of themselves doing this is porn for other men.

That’s the biggest red flag to me. I’d never publish photos of my toddler breastfeeding because I know there are gross freaks out there that would use it for nefarious purposes. I’m suspicious of anyone who publishes those sorts of photos on social media (some mums are just naive I guess but I’m sure these men doing it must know)

Men have breasts yes, but the breast tissue is not as developed compared to a woman. If you have to induce both the growth of the breast tissue along with the production of milk with massive amounts of hormones and other medicine can you really say that it’s healthy and safe? Where are the studies showing that the milk produced by a transwoman is sufficient and healthy for a child? Is it really ethical? The study they love citing is based on a group made up of women who were not pregnant , trans identified females and trans identified males.

Woman who can’t produce milk are simply told to give formula and even women who breastfeed have to stick to a specific diet.

I don’t see the point of supporting this abomination just for the sake of “gender euphoria”. The funny thing is that if they ever manage to normalize this they’ll immediately want something else, menstruation , giving birth etc. they’ll never be satisfied , because they’re chasing something unattainable.

People live in such bubbles. If I went to a local coffee shop in my very liberal town and said anything mildly GC - chances are I'd be asked to leave.

Add to that, the media are captured. They are all 20 somethings who don't believe in journalism. I watched libs of tiktok and Taylor Lorenze (sp?) talk about trans-trends in kids. Libs was disappointing (she wasn't in command of the facts) and neither was Taylor (a left wing 'journalist'). She had NO CLUE. I don't think she's ever even researched the issue - despite the fact that she writes about it all the time.

It's a deliberate attempt to paint us as villains. Because to most liberals, conservatives are villains, so if someone doesn't have the "approved" view on gender ideology, TRAs have decreed that it must be because we're conservative in our hearts.

I'm a moderate overall, and I think moderates, liberals, and conservatives should be able to agree on how badly gender ideology is affecting women and children for many of the same reasons. It's wrong to sterilize kids. I think all sides can agree on that because we all believe kids have the right to grow up with their bodies intact and not altered by hormonal disruption.

I think it is because the gender brigade have attached themselves like a rabid limpet to the left, they automatically view any dissent as being right wing.

Ironically their ideology of womanhood being a commodity they can purchase is capitalism on steroids. Their pursuit of privileges that take away women's rights, history and ability to protest is downright fascism. They attempt to convert lesbians and gays using brutal medical means. Forced speech and behaviour. Disobedience is punished severely through violence and censorship. They try to indoctrinate young children to their ideology. They disregard safeguarding procedures in favour of male sexual fetishes.

So it makes me wonder...how in the hell can they consider themselves left wing?

The idea that people who don't support gender ideology are on the far-right
One thing that I have noticed being discussed in TRA circles is the notion that the "rise in transphobia" or any "transphobia" (aka critical thinking) is a result of far-right politics; the consideration that center or left leaning people could be gender critical and have "transphobic" opinions doesn't even enter the conversation at all.

I haven't actually come across any far-right gender critical people - conservative sure but nobody who I would consider extremist. It seems to me that the majority of gender critical people I come across are actually left leaning or somewhere in the middle depending on other factors.

Do you think TRAs purposefully ignore this fact because they can't as easily brand left-leaning people as hateful bigots or they are just delusional about it and think that left-leaning people all engage in groupthink and automatically support gender ideology?

I hate this formulation because I feel that opposition to the systemic politicization of trans theory isn’t basically political. I feel that opposing it is a reality, scientific situation.

I am opposed to this not because of my political leanings but because it’s all lies. Humans come in one of two sexes, the end. THAT is the basis of my disagreement with the idea that anyone can change her sex. Sure, as we all know, there are political ramifications, but at base, I’m standing on biological truth. I also get why most of the political fighting against the lie of trans is freedom of belief/speech, but I kind of hate it. Understanding the reality of human reproduction is not an OPINION.

You won't find far right or conservative gender critical people. [...] You will find plenty of far right people who are anti-trans, pretty much every legal organization that takes on cases is Dominionist Christian like the ADF, and any anti-trans belief is labeled "gender critical" because the media and TRAs don't understand feminism.

Believing sex is real and men can't be women and women can't be men isn't a gender critical belief, it is one common among right wing Christian extremists like the Duggars and other Quiverfull adherents.

I have a comment to your comment. I come from a middle class upbringing . Things are expensive and things will be fixed so everyone is not spending a fortune in order to eat and heat their homes this winter. The Democrats could not do that in nearly 4 years but now with the change of being head honcho things will be done quickly with staff being black, LGBUTQUEER , Chinese, Indian for diversity and the prisoners will have sex changes on demand so they can freely mix and mingle and the men that become pregnant will have 9 months to decide so to not rush into abortions and all will have tampons to stick up their asses. As someone else said, the Dems could have and should have fixed this issue in their party after 2016 as it was said then that Obama’s pro trans policy sent voters to Trump. Instead, their pushback under Biden was inviting Mulvaney to the White House, hiring old AGP Richard Levine as a senior health official backing child transition, and trying to ram through an equality act ensuring all women’s spaces and sports would be Tim infested. Oh, and then the Easter party where some Tim flashed his boobs next to a couple of bare chested tifs with amputated breasts.

These days, the Dems don’t want to talk about it. So Trump will.

Talk to people. Make this visible. People tend to support it when it's an abstraction - then they see real world consequences like Mr. Johnson the math teacher is now Miss Johnson and he's also coaching the cheerleaders and in their locker room. During abortion talks, I bring up the women getting pregnant in prison. Support falters when people see it in real life.

It takes bravery and a willingness to risk the loss of friendship. But more and more people are open to the conversation. Parents are mobilizing. More detransitioners will be suing. We can keep opening people's eyes and that's going to be very effective for women in particular, because so many of our groups and events and communities were given away by other women who thought they were being kind.

Essentially, we can focus on taking back women's spaces and let Democrats know this is not supported by their base. And we can get active locally by seeking leadership positions and then Trojan horsing them just like TRAs Trojan horsed the Left.

You could become a supporter of DIAG (Democrats for An Informed Approach To Gender), it won’t cost you a penny. DIAG is working to educate democratic lawmakers and policy makers at the state and federal levels about the harms of sex-denialism. But to be effective, DIAG needs high numbers of supporters in state and federal districts to convince lawmakers that it is in their own best interest to change course on policies that erase women’s sex-based rights and endanger the health of minors. DIAG also has a forum for supporters that allows them to communicate with other supporters in their state so that they can plan actions and meet-ups.
