think of it this way: you love your friend, but your friend betrays you. You still love that friend, but you’re hurt.

2) you’re irredeemable. God doesn’t want you. You’re going to hell. See you never, loser!

3) hey friend, I understand you feel this way. I love you and so does God. You’re not irredeemable nor are you a devil. Let me show you a better way to live. It’s one thing to be tempted, another to act.

Just because you have an urge to punch someone doesn’t mean you did. Same thing. Just because you have these thoughts doesn’t mean you automatically are gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc.

There’s something different about this June. There are fewer rainbows. No, I’m not talking about the sign of God’s covenant that appears in the sky after a storm. I’m talking about the rainbow flag that has become the symbol of Pride Month.
For years, June brought a predictable wave of corporate logos, advertising campaigns, themed merchandise, and public celebrations. Parents learned to pay closer attention to commercials in family programming, sports fans grew accustomed to Pride-themed uniforms and promotions, and many city streets became venues for often indecent displays at Pride parades.
This year is noticeably different. The symbols are not gone, but they are far less prominent. It’s premature to say Pride has fallen, but it is fair to say the appeal of Pride Month has faded.

Here is why I believe this is more than a passing fad: corporate leaders and elected officials are responding to the people. For several years, parents refused to back down. They attended school board and city council meetings, despite being called domestic terrorists. They opposed policies involving boys in girls’ sports and mixed-sex bathrooms and locker rooms, and in many cases ran for office themselves. Across the country, they won seats, changed policies, and reshaped local government.
There are fewer rainbows this June. That alone does not mean the cultural debate is over. As June begins, the Trump administration is continuing a sharp departure from the policies and messaging of the Biden years. From the White House to American embassies around the world, federal agencies are largely absent from Pride Month observances, reflecting a broader shift in priorities and a renewed emphasis on national symbols and family-focused policies.
But this year, for the second year in a row, President Trump gave the American people what they wanted — what they voted for. No pride celebration. No proclamation demonizing parents against indoctrinating children. No lengthy diatribes. No secular agenda. The same federal agencies under the leadership of Biden — that celebrated the month — posted nothing about “pride” on June 1 under the leadership of President Trump. These changes extend to the State Department, which has made a hard shift away from promoting pride and ungodly sexuality.
For many Americans, these developments represent a return to government neutrality on cultural issues and a renewed focus on shared national identity. Others view the changes as part of a broader effort by the administration to roll back policies and initiatives championed by progressive activists during the previous administration.
For intercessors, however, this moment highlights the importance of praying for our leaders as they navigate cultural debates that continue to shape the nation. We prayed for an end to the erosion of biblical truth under President Biden, and those prayers have been answered through President Trump. Let’s continue to pray for truth and wisdom for our leaders, as well as for policies that uphold God’s design for individuals, families, and society.
