Pastor and author John MacArthur says in a new interview that President Trump phoned him this summer to offer support and that MacArthur told him “any real true believer is going to be on your side” in November.

I’m assuming you mean what would happen if this occurred during segregation? God does not demand that you understand everything. He does expect obedience. Disobedience has consequences. God does not (as yet) punish people directly. On the issue of personal freedoms, equality, justice, the right to work for a fair wage, mental health, drug addiction, freedom of speech, no, the world is not a better place. COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Over the weekend a group will be gathering on the State House steps to push for our country to return to Biblical roots.

The event being dubbed “Awakening Blast of the Shofar” is organized by Gates to Zion Ministries, located in West Columbia, S.C. It will be held Sunday, Sept. 13 at 3 p.m.

“We have people who are scattered throughout this state that are coming to support this, so we are really praying that there is move of God among His people,” event organizer Jan O’Dell said.

“Our desire is that we stand up, and be heard that our country was founded on biblical principles, and we have given away those biblical principles in so many institutions, socio-economical institutions in this country,” Craig O’Dell said.

“You can come out on Sunday at 3 o’clock and make your voice heard. You can take a stand, and we together can make a change,” Jan said.

If you have a shofar you can bring one along, but it’s not required. The event is scheduled to run until about 5 p.m.

BIG NOPE: Worship band's new song literally worships George Floyd

NOPE NOPE NOPETY NOPE.

A worship band called "The Porter's Gate," which describes itself as "a sacred ecumenical arts collective reimagining and recreating worship that welcomes, reflects and impacts both the community and the church," is releasing a new song that straight up worships George Floyd.

The song is essentially a remix of 17th-century hymn "O Sacred Head, Now Wounded." It's called "O Sacred Neck, Now Wounded."

I'm not going to link to the actual song because it doesn't come out until Friday and that would be mean. I will tell you though that it has the same melody as the old hymn. Major difference being the old hymn worshiped Jesus while the new one worships George Floyd.

I will show you the lyrics, though. LOOK AT THE STINKING LYRICS:

Yes, the second verse appears to be about Jesus. But the first verse and the third verse are about "Sacred" George Floyd. The lyrics are sung TO him. They even capitalize "Your" when referring to him 😑

I can’t tell you how many leftists and humanists I saw on Facebook and on the news saying “The economy is not more important than human lives”. But these same leftists have no problem with 56 million human lives worldwide being sacrificed each year for the “economic empowerment of women” when women have abortions. Do you get the irony in that?

I have seen some leftists and feminists attack pro-life conservatives saying “Look at these conservative pro-lifers willing to sacrifice human lives for the economy. I guess they are not so pro-life after all.” But this is a horribly faulty comparison. Comparing COVID 19 deaths to deaths caused by abortion is like comparing normal flu deaths each year to those caused by murder. And that is exactly what abortion is – it is murder. If you die from getting a virus that is a natural cause of death. If you die from a doctor tearing you apart with medical instruments that is not a natural cause of death. That is murder.

Foolish humanists have said to those protesting the loss of their freedoms in the COVID 19 hype that they are fighting for “the freedom to give and receive the Corona virus”. So could we as conservative Christians say humanists are fighting for “the freedom to give and receive STDs which can be fatal” when they fight for the freedom of people to engage in casual sex outside of marriage?

The leftists and humanists want us to wear masks and practice social distancing to go buy milk. But in the coming months they will continue to fight for the right of two strangers to meet at a bar (with masks on of course) and then go home, take off their masks, get naked and engage in casual sex. The irony and foolishness of their positions are completely lost on them.

This sounds like such a simple and easy statement, doesn’t it? I feel most certain that most people who profess faith in Christ will quickly speak up and say that our God is our ultimate authority! However, the brutal truth is that our actions speak far louder and clearer than our words!

It is obvious that Paul, who was writing the epistle to the church in Rome from prison, was not telling us to obey unrighteous laws and edicts of man’s government! He wrote this in prison because he would not obey godless government’s laws and disobey God! He goes on to explain what government should be! Please note in verse 3 that government should not be a terror to people who do good works, but rather a deterrent to the evil done by evil men! He went onto say that if you are a righteous individual doing good works, you should have no need to fear “Godly” governments! Righteous government has the “power” i.e. authority from God to enforce His moral laws!

Principal expels gay student because “Jesus would want me to”

A Christian school in Texas has expelled a student for coming out as gay, and the school principal is defending his decision saying that Jesus wanted him to expel the student.

Devin Bryant, 17, has attended the Covenant Christian Academy in Dallas since he was in kindergarten, but last month his mother Consolata got a call from the new headmaster, Tony Jeffrey, telling her that Devin won’t be allowed to attend the school for his senior year because he’s gay.

“Are you a Christian?” she asked him on the phone. “Jesus would not do what you are doing.”

“I’m doing what Jesus would want me to do,” he replied.

Both her children attended the school for the past two decades, but the new headmaster told her to get “parent counseling.”

Two weeks later, Jeffrey sent a letter to students and faculty explaining why he expelled the straight-A student, citing the school’s “Doctrinal Statement acknowledging that they agree with the School on historic, orthodox, doctrinal beliefs.”

He said that the school has “deeply held religious beliefs” that include that idea that “the expression of human sexuality is appropriate only within the boundaries of a marital relationship between one man and one woman.”

We have previously discussed the practice on some airlines to ask women move to accommodate ultra-Orthodox Jewish men who refuse to sit next to women. Now, Melanie Wolfson, 38, a British-Israeli woman, is suing EasyJet after she was asked her to change seats on a flight from Tel Aviv to London.

Wolfson is asking for 66,438 shekels compensation in a lawsuit filed by the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC). She wants the airline to bar future demands or requests for women to move. She noted that she paid extra for an aisle seat on her flight last October, but an ultra-Orthodox man and his son were sitting in the row when she arrived. According to Haaretz, she claims that the request was insulting and humiliating.

What is interesting about the lawsuit is that Wolfson was not told to switch, was offered the incentive of a free hot drink, and ultimately agreed to move. However, two months later, she was again asked to move for the same reason. She then refused but two other female passengers agreed to move.
