As attacks against the Christian community have increased across the country, a pastor from Odisha’s Dhenkanal district was brutally assaulted, forced to chant Jai Sree Ram, and made to eat cow dung by members of the Bajrang Dal, his wife alleged.

The incident, which took place on January 4 (Sunday), came to light recently. Pastor Bipin Bihari Naik, along with his wife and a few others, was attending a prayer meeting at a house in Parjang village when a mob of around 40 people gathered outside.

Speaking to Maktoob, Vandana, Naik’s wife, who was present at the prayer meeting, said the mob asked Naik to come outside the house. When he told them he would do so after the prayer was completed, the mob forcibly entered the house.

“They started beating everyone inside the house. Besides us, there were seven families who were praying with us. My children and I managed to run out of the house and rushed through a narrow alley towards the nearest police station,” Vandana said.

Bipin, who was the main target, was not spared. According to Naik, he was dragged outside and beaten on every part of his body. He was continuously slapped and beaten with sticks by the crowd. Red sindoor was smeared all over his face, and a garland of slippers was placed around his neck.

Along with Bajrang Dal members and some villagers, Naik was dragged and paraded throughout the village. This continued for nearly two hours.

Meanwhile, Vandana was at the police station, pleading with officers to rescue her husband. “It was only after nearly two hours that the police reached the village,” she said.

Vandana added that despite her repeated requests, the police initially misled her, claiming there was no one in the village. However, when she insisted on accompanying them to the location, what they witnessed was horrific.

“My husband was tied to a Hanuman temple in the village. Both his hands were tied behind a rod. He was forced to consume cow dung and was bleeding badly. People were slapping him and forcing him to chant Jai Sree Ram,” she said.

However, the FIR accessed by Maktoob states that Naik was forced to drink drain water, while his wife repeated the claim that he was forced to consume cow dung.

I guess they are not so pro-life after all.” But this is a horribly faulty comparison. Comparing COVID 19 deaths to deaths caused by abortion is like comparing normal flu deaths each year to those caused by murder. And that is exactly what abortion is – it is murder. If you die from getting a virus that is a natural cause of death. If you die from a doctor tearing you apart with medical instruments that is not a natural cause of death. That is murder.

Foolish humanists have said to those protesting the loss of their freedoms in the COVID 19 hype that they are fighting for “the freedom to give and receive the Corona virus”. So could we as conservative Christians say humanists are fighting for “the freedom to give and receive STDs which can be fatal” when they fight for the freedom of people to engage in casual sex outside of marriage?

The leftists and humanists want us to wear masks and practice social distancing to go buy milk. But in the coming months they will continue to fight for the right of two strangers to meet at a bar (with masks on of course) and then go home, take off their masks, get naked and engage in casual sex. This is why today if any adult is seen has having less rights than another adult, it is said that the person with less rights is being “dehumanized”.

Boomers were intelligent and well-intentioned but they were ignorant of religion and history and they had inherited a dysfunctional political system that included women's suffrage. Because their ignorance, it was inevitable that all their conclusions would be wrong. So they can't be blamed. Who caused the destruction of education and the political system?

The Third Great Awakening produced the first social justice warriors of western culture. These lunatics promoted women's suffrage and attacked prostitution and evolution. Prostitution is needed to protect female chastity and attacking evolution undermined the eugenics movement which was needed to prevent dysgenic decay. They were also complicit with the destruction of traditional western education as promoted by evil intellectuals. The full effect of this horrible movement can be seen in the 1920s. What caused all this? This was the result of modern Christianity which is an evil perversion of traditional Christianity. So I can't really blame these people, the blame lies with modern Christianity itself.

Where did modern Christianity come from? It came from the Second Great Awakening. A key player was Charles Finney as I described here. This movement killed the Enlightenment and made Christianity an enemy of science. It also destroyed the traditional historical understanding of Christianity and encouraged religious ignorance. So here is where the blame really lies. But there remains the question of what allowed such a horrible change to happen to Christianity in the first place.

So now I will extend the blame to Luther. The key good figures in the Reformation are Zwingli and Calvin. Luther was the bad guy and almost everything he said was bad. In particular his idea that we are all consecrated priests through Baptism meant that ignoramuses like Finney who lacked any serious religious education could be taken seriously.
