Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin said Thursday that “Return to the Land,” which bars non-whites and Jews from membership in its northern Arkansas living community, doesn’t violate state or federal law.

“Racism has no place in a free society, but from a legal perspective, we have not seen anything that would indicate any state or federal laws have been broken,” Griffin said in a statement provided to the Forward by a spokesperson.

Griffin’s comments walk back legal concerns he previously expressed about the whites-only settlement. Earlier this month, Griffin told TMZ that Return to the Land — a community where prospective residents must verify their “ancestral heritage” in a written application and interview — raises “all sorts of legal issues, including constitutional concerns.”

The Forward reported in June about Return to the Land’s hopes of replicating its whites-only settlements across the country, with the stated aim of “trying to put land back under the control of Europeans.” Eric Orwoll and Peter Csere lead the group, which Morgan Moon of the Anti-Defamation League described as one of the most established white supremacist residential communities in the United States today.

In a June 30 email obtained by the Forward through a public records request, Gary McGee, an investigator with the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission wrote that “as of today, AFHC has not discovered any actual property owned by this organization or its founder, nor any advertisements for housing.”

Records show that a limited liability company in both Csere and Orwoll’s name, “Wisdom Woods LLC,” owns adjacent parcels of land totaling 157 acres near the town of Ravenden, where Sky News reporter Tom Cheshire visited the group and spoke with residents of the whites-only community in July.

Griffin did not respond to the Forward’s request for clarification about why the office believed Return to the Land had not broken any laws and whether it had considered the property owned by Wisdom Woods LLC.

Men's Inherent Uselessness and How it Stifles Civilization

"Men gave you everything. Men created society."

No. Men held civilization back. Men fought tooth and nail against advancements and technology with every step. Men held an entire half of civilization back when they forced women out of jobs and education due to their own hysterical fear of being outdone.

Every new invention or tool to make life easier was fought against by men terrified of losing their jobs or their feeble "place" in society. Just look at their reaction to industrialization, the infamous legend of John Henry and the panic towards machines "stealing jobs".

Women have never had this panic because our "place", while traditionally laden with disrespect and danger, has at least always been secure: no machine or invention ever replaced childbirth or child-rearing.

Men's terror at being biologically useless beyond breeding has led them to stifle human advancement to retain their artificially-created "place". A global racket in which they create the problem then demand gratitude for solving it, men destroy technology to retain their jobs then demand women's gratitude for those jobs.

The few inventions by men always turn out to have a woman behind them--a women that did all the real discovery, the real work, only to have her glory and effort stolen by a worthless male.

Just look at their daily lives and how they simultaneously call themselves leaders while begging women to lead them:

Men can't even find their own socks and wipe their own ass without women--do we really believe that they ever "invented" or "discovered" anything?

Imagine if women had the loyalty men hold for one another? We could bring this planet to its knees and establish societies where we can find some refuge from misogyny even if only a short while. But it goes against nature, fate etc. If women were to see and accept that men will never see them as anything but objects. That no amount of mutilation, degradation of themselves or turning the blind eye will bring any true happiness or love, men would be in big trouble. That is why I sometimes think it's a curse, the empathy many women have.
