J.K. Rowling uses Harry Potter wealth to fund anti-transgender organization

J.K. Rowling is using her wealth attained from the Harry Potter series to create an organization dedicated to removing transgender people's rights "in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces.”

The author announced in a Saturday post to X, formerly Twitter, that she would be founding the J.K. Rowling Women’s Fund, using her personal fortune. The website for the group states that it “offers legal funding support to individuals and organisations fighting to retain women’s sex-based rights in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces.”

“I looked into all options and a private fund is the most efficient, streamlined way for me to do this,” she said. “Lots of people are offering to contribute, which I truly appreciate, but there are many other women’s rights orgs that could do with the money, so donate away, just not to me!”

It is not the first time Rowling has used her over $1 billion net worth to influence legal cases involving so-called women’s sex-based rights — a dog whistle used by herself and other anti-trans activists to exclude trans people from public spaces and reduce women to their genitals.

Rowling donated £70,000 (roughly $88,200) to the anti-trans group For Women Scotland in 2024 after it lost its challenge to a 2018 Scottish law that legally recognized trans women as women. The group appealed its case to the U.K. Supreme Court, which ruled last month that trans women aren’t considered women under the nation’s Equality Act.

This sounds like my son. I never had him officially labeled. He's in his mid-twenties so ASD didn't seem like a label to pursue because it wouldn't benefit him in any way as a child. He developed obsessive interests and would drill down on topics to the point he could become a walking encyclopedia. He was kind, thoughtful, and very masculine in his preferences for how he dressed, hairstyle, etc. Rarely would you find him NOT wearing a plaid shirt, relaxed jeans and boots. He liked video games, DnD, computers, physics, chemistry. Then he went to college and COVID hit. It stressed him out totally. He saw a counselor through the school. Suddenly he was gay (never had any indication or a boyfriend or any interests in his peers in general) and then trans. He moved from blue plaid shirts to pink ones and relaxed jeans to skinny ones and girls boots. I'd like to wring the counselors neck and would love it if the next wildfire in the vicinity of the university allowed the whole place to burn down.

Neglected and avoided by their peers in the past, they are now "hanging out" with the new glitter unicorns where they are seen as Uber Cool. They are affirmed. They are embraced. They are celebrated. I am not surprised that autistic children are entranced by the promises made by their new glitter family. So much adulation is wonderful. They run the code, and boom. It starts spreading. Quietly. Invisibly. Maybe it embeds itself in software, maybe it rides through updates or just hides in plain sight. Like a botnet... only instead of some teenager mining crypto, it’s an alien intelligence learning about us from the inside.

It’s not that there are more gay guys: it’s that there are more trans people, as well as categories we didn’t have until recently, like non-binary. There are even people who say they’re queer and straight, which really does make me feel old.

So, are these new LGBT people (even the straight queers!) actually just the nerds and the tomboys from back in the day? It feels like the two things at least might be linked.

When you've got hundreds or even thousands of them in most urban areas, you might think that women would be able to look around and see the women who have shitty life-outcomes and compare them to the women with successful life outcomes, and then try to emulate the women who have made good, genuinely happy lives for themselves, instead of the broken and battered used-up hookers that no man wants to touch.

But somehow, it seems like somewhere between 10%-20% of the young women of the next generation have as their life's highest aspirations to make it rich as a hooker, and through things like having mixed-race kids. I don't understand it, but then, I also don't really understand communism, either. And that's the other idiotic idea that women seemingly love to flock to.

At what point do we, as a society, say "enough is enough", and understand that most women are simply little more than idiot-children in an adult's body, and take away their rights to make decisions for themselves? It's only been done by pretty much every great society that's ever existed throughout history, so I don't understand the recent obsession with women's political power over the past 100 years or so. They haven't used it well, and they've done their very best to destroy any semblance of stability--financial, within the home as well as out in wider society, and it's time for that kind of nonsense to stop.

Sweden was a once and beautiful and prosperous place, but they elected a "feminist government" and within 20 years managed to make it the "rape capital" of the Western World. They've destroyed all sense of propriety, any sense of Western ideals of justice, and are now going broke at a record pace.

It's time to stop.

President Trump said Monday he is pardoning Scott Jenkins, a former Virginia sheriff who was convicted of making several businessmen sworn law enforcement officers in exchange for cash bribes.

Former Culpeper County Sheriff Jenkins, 53, was found guilty on fraud and bribery charges and sentenced to 10 years in prison in March. But on Monday, Mr. Trump posted on Truth Social that Jenkins and his family "have been dragged through HELL by a Corrupt and Weaponized Biden DOJ."

"This Sheriff is a victim of an overzealous Biden Department of Justice, and doesn't deserve to spend a single day in jail. He is a wonderful person, who was persecuted by the Radical Left "monsters," and "left for dead," Mr. Trump said in the post. "He will NOT be going to jail tomorrow, but instead will have a wonderful and productive life."

Jenkins was indicted in 2023 on 16 counts. In December, a jury found Jenkins guilty of one count of conspiracy, four counts of honest services fraud and seven counts of bribery. Jenkins appealed his conviction in April.

Federal prosecutors say Jenkins took $75,000 worth of bribes. He allegedly accepted cash and campaign contributions from eight people — including two undercover FBI agents — and in return, gave them badges and made them auxiliary deputy sheriffs, despite not having any training or vetting. He also allegedly pushed officials to restore one bribe-payer's right to possess a gun as a convicted felon.

Jenkins took the stand in his own defense and said there was no connection between the payments he received and the badges he handed out, according to news reports. Testifying against Jenkins were the undercover FBI agents who were sworn in as deputies in 2022 and immediately thereafter gave Jenkins envelopes with $5,000 and $10,000 cash, respectively.

Trump said Jenkins tried to offer evidence in his defense, but U.S. District Judge Robert Ballou, a Biden appointee, "refused to allow it, shut him down, and then went on a tirade."

Acting United States Attorney Zachary T. Lee said at the time that Jenkins violated his oath of office "and this case proves that when those officials use their authority for unjust personal enrichment, the Department of Justice will hold them accountable."

It is reprehensible to tell children their bodies are wrong and should be rejected, and to convince them, not only to hate their bodies, but to actually consent to let doctors cut off healthy body parts and disrupt endocrine systems in a vain effort to achieve greater happiness and peace of mind.

What makes these horrific actions even more disturbing is the pretense that this is being done out of love and care. When the perpetrators are allowed to convince others that anyone who tries to protect these children is the enemy, we know the world has turned upside down. In the upside-down world, friends and neighbors fight to allow the perpetrators of these atrocities to continue their crimes unimpeded, while silencing anyone who objects. Those who caution medical providers against immediately halting puberty, introducing cross-sex hormones or cutting off healthy body parts are seen as “transphobes.” Suggesting that teens who feel uncomfortable in their bodies might benefit from therapy to align their minds with their bodies is endorsing “conversion therapy.” Concern about sterility, sexual dysfunction, incontinence, infection, bone density problems, increased risk of stroke or heart attack, cancer, liver or kidney failure is somehow hateful. In upside down world, wrong is right, bad is good, and harm is care.

The best way to stop this psychological and bodily harm to our children is to let the world know what is really happening. We have to make it clear that the medical interventions involved in “gender affirming care” are not “lifesaving” and will, in varying degrees, make everyone who receives such interventions less healthy. We have to make it clear that the path to finding one’s authentic self is not forged through drastic cosmetic alterations in the form of toxic chemicals and invasive surgeries. any more than it is forged through rejection of one’s body and denial of biological reality.

61 year old Angelo D'Ambros had gone to a nearby copse to gather some firewood and had sat down on a branch to rest. He was suddenly horrified to see two strange beings looking at him. The beings were hovering very close to the ground. They were described as very short and thin, one shorter than the other. They had yellowish skin, large elongated heads, smooth and bald, long pointed noses and large mouths with two long pointed fangs. They were clad in dark tight fitting coveralls that started below the knee and up to their necks. They also had huge hands and feet with extremely long fingers and nails.

The shorter of the beings approached the witness and began making sudden “sliding” moves around him, never touching the ground. The witness screamed for help and ask who they were but they only answered with mumbling sounds. The taller creature now approached and attempted to take the witness chopping axe from him.

The witness felt a slight electrical shock, then the creature used both hands to try to take the axe from him, the creature tried to use exceptional force, but by sheer desperation D'Ambros was able to resist, he felt another electric shock up his hand and up his arm. He then picked up a large branch and threatened to hit the creature, they then fled in to the woods.

The witness chased after them but lost sight of them. He then came upon a clearing where a solid metallic disc shaped craft with a dome on top rested on four legs like protrusions. He saw a pair of long hands close a small trap door on the dome, then the disc took off silently and at high speed emitting a burst of red flame from its bottom. During the same time other independent witnesses had watched a similar object maneuvering over the area.
